My package never arrived and customer service answered me to ask my neighbors
I will never buy another thing from ideel. I was trying to check on my order and I couldn't get anyone on the phone for customer service I tried 5 days none stop with still nothing. I sent an item back and it's been 2+ weeks and I'm yet to receive a refund. Buyer beware.
What a bunch of robots that work here. You cannot get your issue resolved AT ALL. These people are absolutely rediculous and I don't even have the words at the moment to describe how frustrating it feels to have to deal with them to fix a bogus charge! I will NEVER shop from these people again.
I ordered a UP band. It supposed to stay charged for up to 10 days. Mine only stay charged for one day
I use this site all the time. When we go on vacation I change my location and find great local deals for things I usually would not pay full price for! If I ever have an issue Groupon is quick to fix they have awesome customer service. I check the site everytime I am going out to eat or just looking for something to do, 9 times out of 10 I can save myself some money.
If you are the guy who love deals... groupon is the site to use
Groupon provides some excellent deals and comes to your inbox on a regular basis with all new and different deals. So many choices for areas of interest.
As an educational course author, publisher, photographer on Photographer2.com and artist, the use of groupon is highly recommended.
Enjoy!
I've subscribed to the ideel email list for a while but until last week, had never bought anything from them. They had a sale for an item I was excited about, so I bought 3 of them. Everything appeared to be processed and I was looking forward to receiving my shipment. A few days later, I received a sketchy voicemail message (honestly, the girl was nearly unintelligible) from their "loss prevention" department, asking me to call them back to verify their order. I called 4 separate times that afternoon (it was a weekday) and no one ever bothered to pick up the phone. I wanted to speak with an actual person instead of just playing phone tag, so I declined to leave a voicemail (I was also driving and didn't have my order information in front of me). I thought they would contact me again. The next day, I received another voicemail message saying my order was cancelled and an email to the same effect. So I emailed their customer support asking them to process the order, and they said it was my fault for not listening to their voicemail instructions, and that the order could not be completed. With so many shopping options these days, I'm floored that they would treat customers that way!
I used to hate Groupon, because my deals would expire quickly and I started getting spam. HOWEVER, if you are sure to read the fine print and set up a "spam" email address (use gmail or something free), Groupon is a lifesaver, and you won't constantly have your regular inbox cluttered. I live in a major city, so there are always tons of deals! It probably is not as beneficial if you live in a more rural area, but I love it.
I have purchased numerous vouchers and have never had any problems using them. When I had one place that had gone out of business in the city I lived the money was quickly reimbursed back to my credit card. Customer service is great!
A very good experince with Groupon... due to a glitch in the system I got charged 3 times for the reservation of a hotel! Groupon customer services did their best to solve the issue! Wonderful customer service!
I trust this site and it's easy to return or get credit if needed.
Cheaper than Amazon and that's why you have to check it regularly. I'm totally impressed with food promotions as well. Such offers are very rare to find elsewhere.
I purchased tickets for an event that actually still has tickets being sold. The terms stated I could not receive a refund until the day of the event. Turns out my daughter's grandmother is getting married the day of the event. Groupon has since advised that the terms actually mean a refund will be given IF the event is cancelled or rescheduled. I have advised them to donate to this cause http://www.youcaring.com/jonathan-calderon-*******#.VbUHlFzZTsw.facebook instead of keeping the $90.00, but the company has blocked me from their FB page and will no longer answer my emails. Shows how heartless they are. I don't even need a refund, but they could at least donate the money to help this child and his family as they battle cancer.
I have used groupon to buy some home goods and have found the quality to be very average. I get better quality outside and at good prices.
I've ordered many times and taken advantage of many offers and never had a problem
Some things are good. Don't buy hotel rooms here though. I meet good small business owners at an initial discount. The savings is enticing and I often stay with those I have great experiences with
Groupon offers discount, could be a good thing except with Restaurants. Cheap is NO GOOD! Cheap for no good reason is especially bad.
I was skeptical about Groupon when my partner wanted to try out with restaurants. As soon as he brought up about that we must present the groupon as soon as we walk in the restaurant or even when we make the reservation. I sensed something fishy.
Restaurants want to boost volume at a lower price, that is understandable. But do they want to loose solid money for these discounted volume? This is questionable.
We found our answers and proves during our restaurants visits. How the restaurants remain consistent profit? They cut corners... which correspond to their need to know that the suckers (discounted eaters) are coming when you present your coupon.
There is no better explanation or any other reasons that Groupon holders must show it up front (before they are served).
You do the math.
I have used Groupon since its inception. Along the way, I have had a few glitches - products that weren't up to standard; services that definitely weren't up to par, and a couple other issues. Each time Groupon stepped up and corrected the issue or refunded my money. I feel comfortable dealing with Groupon knowing that they have my back. Keep going Groupon! I love the way you protect us consumers!
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.
Answer: Yes, report it but using social media is a very effective way to get a companies attention. Spread the word, Groupon does not honor returns!
Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?
Answer: Groupon usually sends a tracking # via email If not do as the other people suggested, check My Groupons
Answer: I wish I could say why, but a solution might be to contact Call Curtis, or your local News station that helps with consumer issues. They always seem to get fast resolutions, because companies hate BAD TV PUBLICITY.
Answer: I personally do not trust groupon. The question previous to yours printed on this site should answer your question as to its reliaiblity
Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!
Answer: Well, it's not Ideeli anymore... it's been Ideel for about a year now I think. Yes, there is a customer support phone number. I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
