If I could give them a negative number I would. I ordered something quite expensive, and when it arrived it didn't even work. When I called, I was treated horribly, was told I could pay to send broken item back, and they would refund me in about 5-6 weeks. Keep in mind now I don't have what I paid for, AND they are holding my money-nearly $600. To add insult to injury, they just really don't care if you are upset or inconvenienced.
If you are thinking of buying anything over $10, JUST DONT!
If I am only allowed to cuss out Groupon here I will do that! Freaking Groupon! It used to be good. I purchased the Ticket for today's show March 11,2016. There is no way in this freaking world where I find the ticket. At first when it was not expired I was still able to see it in my account. However today is the show and I don't find the ticket I purchased at all. There is no option to print it out or to redeem it. Their stupid customer support I asked them to email it to me. One sent me a link that I don't even have the idea how to access as it was telling me I don't have the stupid account. I am saying bad words here as I am very so freaking upset. I have used Groupon a lot. But I will never ever use their company again. NEVER!
I HAVE NO DESIRE TO EVER VISIT THE IDEELI SITE AGAIN! I HAVE BEEN A MEMBER FOR MANY YEARS AND HAVE USED THE SITE A LOT! BUT NOW THE QUALITY IS VERY LOW AND THE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE AWFUL... I DON'T BELIEVE THAT PEOPLE WHO ARE LOOKING FOR A HIGH END DESIGNER DISCOUNTED PRODUCT IS A GROUPON CUSTOMER LOOKING FOR A $75 THREE DAY CRUISE!
I have bought so many items from ideeli over the years. Some are my most cherished, ones I didn't care for, were an easy return.
Now my favorite shopping venue has been kidnapped from me. I am so very sad.
What is the ransom? I'm certain I can get other FORMER SHOPPERS to pitch in, just to get you back safely!
Some of my best on line shopping experiences are through Groupon. And when there's a question or a problem, you get to talk to real live American. And they bend over backwards to help solve any problems or to answer your questions. And the deals are GREAT, and so is the quality.
Every time I scroll through Groupon it's amazing how I always find the one thing that I was always looking for and most of the time I didn't even know I was looking for it... lol The prices are amazing and I have never had a problem getting the item I purchased or using there code and redeeming it at a website.
I almost buy all my presents at Groupon and spoil myself. Last thing I got was a massage for 10% of the normal price, love it!
Also the deals on restaurants are amazing, many times 50% off!
Groupon gives not only clients but merchants ways of coming together. And it brings the community together to shop locally. So far I've saved and purchased gymembership. Cosmetic fun. And resteraunts!

I would give Groupon a 5 rating except for one thing. They need to add a shopping cart to enable buying multiple items with one shipping fee. There service is good and the goods are received in a timely fashion.
Very disappointed with Groupon. Tried to order something today and got error about something with credit card I was using. I checked the card status and information Groupon had about the card and all was good with both. Tried using another verified credit card and got error "Bad Request"
So I called Groupon customer support was advised wait time would be an estimated 3 hours and 30 minutes! I submitted this information to their website help submission system and requested that they remove my account.
Tried latter and not better, advised wait time would be over an hour!
So sad to see to good companies going down the drain like this... Sad, they did have some good deals but, with this level of customer support, it's just not worth it!
Groupon is the reason I spend too much money. I think I have an addiction and need a twelve step program. Lol! Have bought tons of things from the site, things to do around town and products that get shipped to my door, I have not had a single bad experience with them.
Groupon admin staff has ben prompt in answering any queries and resolving any issues before they escalate.

I purchased a Groupon for the Bliss Nail Salon for my daughter. I did not know it was not the luxury chain BLISS Spas, but a tiny unknown nail place on the second floor of a bldg on Lexington Ave, NY. I asked for my money back. After much discussion I received Groupon bucks but not for the entire cost. I lost the $10 promotion dollars that I used to purchase this awful Groupon!) So not nice. The representative ended the discussion with "sorry there's nothing we can do".
No to both questions a very honourable company never had a problem but this can not be said for another online one that transferred it's business to another one then that went bust now I see they have started up again so beware as i lost money Only deal with established ones
I love me some Groupon but seriously, read ALL the fine print and ask questions before you buy. If you do you should have no issues. I've gotten some awesome deals with Groupon and I love the local feature.
I had about $80 worth of credit on my Ideeli account which has now disappeared. I think everyone here having similar issues we should all become one voice and go after these people legally. Like filing an action lawsuit for stealing people's money. This is absurd.
They should have just said they were closing Ideel since that's what effectively happened. No more Tahari, BCBG, Vinice Camuto and other favorite luxury steals! The Ideel platform with limited quantity and limited time to grab them was unique and felt exclusive. Who wants to see cheap leggings between headphones and a flat iron with "500+ purchased" under it? No thanks.

Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.

Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?

Answer: I wish I could say why, but a solution might be to contact Call Curtis, or your local News station that helps with consumer issues. They always seem to get fast resolutions, because companies hate BAD TV PUBLICITY.

Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!
Answer: Well, it's not Ideeli anymore... it's been Ideel for about a year now I think. Yes, there is a customer support phone number. I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
