Groupon blamed AMEX for my Credit card decline. AMEX was clear that they sent authorization but Groupon never completed the transaction. Hours wasted with emails, chats, and unintelligible VOIP with foreign accent automatons.

Just terrible. Couldn't even cancel the order.

AMEX was great

Watch out for the small print... You can get vouchers for an outing but the vouchers don't cover you for everything and it can cost you on the day...

I have only bought 3 things from groupon my whole life... and each and every one sucked. I bought makeup brushes and they sent me 2 and double charged me... second thing is I bought a groupon for a massage. And it is A MONTH AND A HALF LATER AND STILL TRYING TO BOOK APPOINTMENT... lastly, bought a groupon and it charged me for the wrong place. I didn't realize it until I was in an appointment for something and they said my groupon was for a different company.

I think groupon and the companies need to be on the same page and have better communication as groupon is selling too many packages and the companies cant keep up.

The idea is great, but really disappointing.

I will never buy from groupon again! I did not receive what I ordered. Im assuming someone stole it out of my mailbox. I asked to be resent the same items. I did not want a refund, just wanted the items. They refunded me the money and told me too repurchase them. I told them I bought them the first time at a discounted price, asked if there was any way I can get that price. They said no, I asked if they could give me a coupon or a credit for the difference for I could repurchase them. Over $12 difference you have lost a good customer, Ive never worked with a company that was not willing too do anything too make this right with me as the customer. I understand it is not your fault the items were stolen, but you were not willing too replace and make me happy. I will not spend a penny with this company ever again!

I haven't bought a Groupon in 2 years. Why? Because of their customer service. It's probably a reflection of how they had to grow so quickly but I had 2 businesses not fulfill their Groupon promise and Groupon's customer success team said, "Not our fault." Well, I disagree. But... you can still find some great deals, just BEWARE. 3 stars.

I recently purchased a DNA test from Groupon from what I thought was ancestry.com but was actually ancestrybyDNA. The use a logo which makes you think you are purchasing through ancestry.com and when I called ancestry.com to complain that my saliva ate through 2 paper envelopes and could not be sent, they were appalled! They said, "What? You didnt' receive a test tube to spit into?" They took their phone number off the website and the Groupon Rep, Christina was great! They refunded me even when it was past the 3 day period. I now feel safe that groupon backs their consumers if the product is unworthy.

I purchased MyEyeDr. Complete eye glass witt eye exam for $49.00 at Groupon.
I ended up pay $79.00 more for basic frame and glasses total of $128.00
After 6 month right side of the frame(Temples) plastic coating cracked., I called MyEyeDr. Yesterday, they said this problem is not under warranty I have to pay for the new frame. I think should cover warranty for one year defective merchandise.
They told me to contact frame manufacturer for warranty repair, I don't have a manufacturer contact info niether MyEye Dr.
MyEyeDr. Responsible for defective frame they sold to customer not me.
This is very bad experience to me with MyEyeDr.
Would you please explain me what to do? I don't want pay $135.00 for the new frame. I can get the new complete eye glass $39.00 from 39dollareyeglasses.com

Groupon used to be good but somewhere down the line it just went downhill. I can not stress how much customer service sucks there. You can get some good deals, but you also risk getting the wrong product shipped to you and not getting a refund. Just getting Groupon bucks. I've stopped using them all together. I may revisit in another year or so and see if they got it together.

I love being able to find great deals in my area through Groupon. I would really like to try it for a vacation but have some reservations about it for some reason. They seem to have great deals for that though. I've used Groupon for massages, bowling, paddle boarding, and scooters in Florida.

NO RESEARCH DONE ON HOTELS USED OUR DAUGHTER S PURCHASED A 2 NIGHT BED AND BREAKFAST AND 1 EVEN MEAL FOR US IN ALCOCK AND BROWN CLIFDEN REFUSED TO GIVE US A SAT NIGHT CLAIMING ROOM AVAILABILITY BUT THERE WAS PLENTY ROOMS AVAILABLE BUT NOT FOR A VOUCHER had to pay 70 extra to get the Sat night amazing room came available Drove FOR 3 HOURS AND 30 MINS WHICH WE HAD told THEM it would take we HAD OUR MEAl SAT NIGHT AND Charged us for it as it was night 2 not on night 1 so on top of voucher For 130 we paid additional 130
