I will never use groupon again! First I was not able to book the massage I paid for, the massage center simply refuse to give me the service. I have now been chasing a refund for a month and a half. I have called three time and email. They have confirmed in writing the refund will be processed but 3 weeks later I'm still chasing this. NEVER AGAIN!
I tried this once and found the service I bought was actually just a come on to get me to sign up for other services
Maybe it works for some people sometimes
If you want to save money on your online purchases, this is the place to go!
Amazing phone app and great sight bargains to be had and offers well recommend A+++++++ site
I got a restaurant groupon and it was a nice deal true to the print, also some jewelry with return option if I didn't want them but they were nice and I kept them, shipping might take a bit but overall good service and products.
After ordering 2 tickets on groupon and reading at the top never expire I wasn't worried about using them quickly and had trouble signing on to groupon for months. Once my family and I decided to use them and even buy 2 more I found out the fine print said must use before 120 days or I'd be stck having to pay another $50 to redeem them. So I was out $50. I'll never use groupon again.
I have had a business tell me they are not honoring my Groupon because Groupon should not have run the promotion so long. Tried getting the refund they assure me I can get. 5 e-mail later I have concluded their tactic is to wear me down and I will go away. I think their core value is do or say anything but do nothing
I stopped using these guys as all their deals are actually not worth it at all
No selection of nice hard goods either
I had to groupon that i was suppose to get percentage off but when checking out somehow it failed writing to groupon it terrible all u get back is a headache. I just wanted credit in my account but they give u bucks what if u dont always use groupon does that make any sense when its not your fault. Its been a complete mess never use groupon and a code again
1, They do not do price match!
2, Their system is so so slow and always goes out with error! The worst thing is that their system could automatically check out items in your cart without your authorization! Pay attention to this!
I experienced this error last month in March, 2016. It checked out 40 items in my cart including 6 TV wall mount kits and 5 comforter sets. That was crazy! After their system fault, I chatted or called their customer service, but they could do nothing, just told me to return all of the items. It took me almost a month to deal with their fault: called for return labels, gathered the 40 items, checked every item to match the label, brought them to post office! Totally waste of my time and made me depressed by Groupon's fault!
3, Do you know what is the worst thing when you want to return their goods? Their return center does not work! Everytime you click return package icon, their system keeps come out with a message:
Oops! Groupon Goods is temporarily unavailable or overloaded. Please try again in a few minutes. For more information, please visit the FAQ.
That is totally fraud! It will make you crazy and depressed!
4, They only provide live chat on the last page of your check out. This means if you have problem and want to chat with their staff, you have to choose one item into you cart and then go to proceed to check out. This procedure makes you very close to final complete your order! If you do not pay attention to this, you may order some useless things by your fingers shake!
I'm so sad that Groupon took over Ideeli. It was my favorite go-to place, it never disappointed and I have so many wonderful items from there. It's not the same since Groupon took over. :(
I shop a lot at Groupons. They guaranteed their prices. You may think its a scam but is not. Groupons stand behind their products.
I took a trip to California and purchased a hotel room via Groupon. Upon arriving and having some issues with logging into my account, I found out that not only had it been flagged and deactivated, but the hotel reservation had been cancelled without any form of notification to me. On top of that, the hotel I had reserved at was completely booked with no rooms available. As I tried to figure out where I would be staying (I was already in California), I first spoke with a customer service representative whom said there was nothing that could be done. She then put me on the phone with her supervisor who was extremely careless and completely uncooperative. After wasting well over an hour on the phone, her response was that she could send me a list of the other hotels available on Groupon for the days needed, and that I could try finding another place to stay. But to make up for having no place to go, helping me by creating a list I could easily search myself, and after asking several times how she could help me, she offered $30 in Groupon Bucks. I spent well over $900 (it was refunded, but still without informing me) and I was offered $30 in Groupon Bucks I am very disappointed in my experience. I hope this is not a reflection of Groupons customer service and I hope I will be contacted to rectify the situation. Next time I am travelling, I certainly wont be using Groupon!
I ordered a few times and after complaing so often about faulty products or bad service I cancelled
I don't know what has happened to Groupon but I am done. Like a lot of other people getting ripped off by this site, let's just say that unless you want to loose money, stay away.
Bought a deal for a massage and gave it as a gift Only problem is that due to owner of said business, phone messages are not returned and no one ever answers the phone. You are not able to make an appointment to book the massage and then when you finally get one, the owner doesn't show up at all! No refund according to Groupon.
Groupon itself is... sort of a good idea. BUT. It's one of those sites that hide behind the people posting on the site. Oh, it wasn't us, THEY did it. And worse than that, there are minimums with groupon so if a certain number of people don't buy something you don't get it. I also hated groupon when I worked for a company that used it. The company sold off our services at such a cheap price and the people using the groupon weren't really in the market for our service unless it was basically free. We were having to bump regulars in order to take them and the whole thing was just sort of an issue.
I did use groupon for a hotel stay recently and i was sort of upset when I realized that the $10 cheaper regular room rate included more "extras" than the groupon. So, buyer beware, always go with companies you already know to be reputable, and always read the fine print.
Pretty solid coupon site. For online shopping it seems they are always updated.
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.
Answer: Yes, report it but using social media is a very effective way to get a companies attention. Spread the word, Groupon does not honor returns!
Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?
Answer: Groupon usually sends a tracking # via email If not do as the other people suggested, check My Groupons
Answer: I wish I could say why, but a solution might be to contact Call Curtis, or your local News station that helps with consumer issues. They always seem to get fast resolutions, because companies hate BAD TV PUBLICITY.
Answer: I personally do not trust groupon. The question previous to yours printed on this site should answer your question as to its reliaiblity
Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!
Answer: Well, it's not Ideeli anymore... it's been Ideel for about a year now I think. Yes, there is a customer support phone number. I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
