Bought a voucher to use a cleaning service through Groupon.
Booked two months in advance.
The day of the appointment nobody showed up, nodoby answered the phone, no explanations, no cleaning, nothing.
I had to buy a last minute cleaning for 4 times the price.
Never use groupon or the service they sold from the (UN)Trustful Cleaners!
I ordered a gropoun vochure for a trip to morocco and found out this didnt include flights, when i tried to get to get flights the flights were twice as much as holiday, i emailed to say i wasnt wanting the vouchure the next day and got an email back saying the would give me extra stuff while there, again i explained i wasnt paying twice as much for flights and would also have to book a hotel as the flight had a long stay over inbetween changes, have heard nothing back from them and when i ried to call the number the phone lines were down and would not be active until the middle of January, even though this is near the end of January i have emailed them every day with no reply and no money, this was meant to be a honeymoon present for mysel and husband for our wedding in august now we have lost our money for that.
I have been trying for days to by a deal with groupon, but each time I key in my details and they ask for my password they tell me the password is wrong, so they have all my details but I get no deal.
The support guys keep telling me they have sent an email to reset my password, but they haven't send it and I've received nothing. It is extremely frustrating that I cannot make a purchase with groupon.

I have tried for over 3 weeks to get my monies back - lots of e-mails/phone calls and they don't answer their phone lines
Anyhow, I bought a voucher, in November, for a hairdressers in Liverpool for my wife as a pre christmas present, they took the monies etc. Tried to contact the hairdresser on the phone for over 72 hours, always engaged. Finally got in the car and drove the 50+ mile round trip. Got to the hairdresser who, had the phone off the hook, and tried to book an appointment. I was told that they only had a few appointments left, for the end of January 2011. Another person said that they had been overwhemed by interest and couldnt fit them in. It is obvious that the hairdresser just used this offer to fill "their post christmas older book" i. E the quiet january period. It is now the 22nd of December, I want my monies back.
I have bought a few vouchers from this site and on the whole they have worked out OK. You need to be aware that a lot of the deals get oversubscribed and the supplier struggles to deliver, particularly with service type deals. The customer service from groupon is really bad as you can't get through on the phone & they don't respond to emails. But the really bad point for this site is the "recommend" function which has a serious security issue. The recipient of the recommendation can click on the email they receive, get logged into your account and use your card details (these are available on the site once you have purchased a deal) to purchase vouchers. I have tried to get in touch with them regarding this but to no avail.
Do not buy any vouchers from Groupon for the EPILIGHT Skin Clinic in Liverpool. They did not honour the voucher I had bought and paid for £99. The deal guaranteed (and it was printed on the voucher) that four treatments were all that were needed for this specific treatment. When I got to the clinic they said I would need at least 8 treatments to produce the desired result at -surprise, surprise- an extra charge of £500! What a scam! I can't believe I fell for it. I suspect Epilight are the fraudsters here but Groupon don't want to know either.
Useless have now has my money and no goods, be very aware!
Answer: Finally got it open, broke a steel rule and eventually had to use two clamps, hardly "easy to use"
