Ordered goods on 4th September.
Order accepted, to be delivered within a week.
Goods delivered to Nottingham Hub UK on 12th September for onward transit.
Then... nothing.
Between 23rd Sep and 23rd Oct: 3 online chats, numerous emails promising to 'escalate' matter...
Nothing arrived. Repeated emails asking me to be patient?!?!?!?!
After 7 weeks, opened dispute case with Paypal and got money refunded within 12 hours.
Worst aspect was them continually telling me to HAVE A NICE DAY!

I thought that I would give this company ago. I wish I never had.

I placed a total of 4 items between 30 June and 10 July 2015.

Item 1: Purchased on the 30 June and took 10 working days to arrive, which seemed not to bad.

Item 2: Purchased 2 July. Didn't arrive in the 7 working days. Contacted Groupon, said they will get another one sent. Called 21 July to be told that they haven't sent another and that I have to wait 10 days before I can get a refund

Item 3: Purchased 6 July. Arrived in 10 working days, 3 days over what was said. Product is poor quality and finish

Item 4: Purchased 10 July. This was 2 Garden Loungers. Received the cushions on 6 working days later. After the 7 days contacted Groupon to find out where the rest of it is? Adviser could not tell what had happened. Said that they would chase this up and would call me back with an update. Still no call from them.

Called Groupon today, 21 July 2015. Spoke to an adviser to chase up the 2 items that I stall have not received. She told me that they have contacted the supplier but I would have to wait another 10 days before they would do anything. I said that this wasn't good enough and that I would like a refund. She told me that her system could not give me a refund. I asked to speak to a manager, she put me on hold then I was cut off.

Please don't use Groupon, unless you want to get poor quality items, that's only if they turn up and if they don't turn up, good luck getting your money back.

If I could give no stars, this would go to Groupon

I have sent them a link and a copy of this review to see what they think about it.

Update: still not heard back from them. Tried using their online chat, and it doesn't work. It is either unavailable or says that a representative is looking at your problem and there's no one there.
Still no items.

Update: Waited the 10 days for them to investigate and got the following email from them this morning:

"Hello,
Thanks so much for your ongoing patience.

I just wanted to let you know that we're still looking into the whereabouts of your order and we'll be in touch as soon as we have an update.

Kind regards,"

So still no further knowing where my item is 23 days later.

Update: 6 weeks gone, still waiting for my refund.

Bought iPhone 5c back in June and whithin first iOS upgrade the phone was totally wiped out. Apple engineer tried various ways on putting the software back until it became apparent that original software was jail broken and now cannot be updated. Yellowstone don't want to know and will be taking this matter further as they sold counterfeit product under false pretence

The zoo staff, though most helpful, made it perfectly clear that there is no discount whatsoever for anything to do with Groupon.

Just a pack of lies to get an email address - pathetic and underhanded!

I bought an iPhone from you and Yellowstone partners. It is faulty. I have sent numerous emails to their Support and not getting a reply. The 14 days limitation to return it for a refund is coming to an end. Can you help by providing their address, phone number and ask them to respond? Group on has a moral duty if nothing else to support customers who put their faith in Groupon's brand to do the right thing.

Seriously shocking customer service. Left my property after half cleaning the oven. Could not clean the door as did not have the tools. After leaving I discovered they had left with my oven rack. I rang and they denied it, then said they checked van and I must of misplaced it. 6 days later of me complaining and demanding a refund they rang to say the magically had found it as the customer after myself returned it. Its 8 weeks since I started complaining and I still don't have my oven rack back. They called me by the office nickname when I called them. Avoid at all costs, they lie, they don't return calls and they steal your property! Oh and don't do the job employed to do...

Left me speechless. Bought a voucher for a cosmetic procedure, when tried to call the business to arrange an appointment there was no answer, when I went there I was told that the salon moved out some months ago (before I bought the voucher). I called so called customer service and the person on the phone actually doubted that fact. He asked who I talked to, am I sure that they moved out and so on because they apparently have no record of that business closed (there were a lot of vouchers bought surely some others complained!)... and at the end he asked me what do I want to do about it! I asked to refund my money. What else can you do! Go there and sit on the steps waiting for the salon to come back?! Really Don't buy their products

Avoid this company at ALL costs! They didnt turn up, claimed they did, but i was in and waiting all day, then claimed the technician was taken ill, and have refused to refund me! Now not returning any calls/messages! AVOID!

Zero communication

Purchased two vouchers for attending Dirty Dancing. When making the booking the booking company informed us the vouchers have been used which they have not. Groupon very hard to contact however on each occasion I contact them they send an email asking for the story and if it is resolved when I answer I hear nothing more! Groupon in general has been good but this clearly shows there is no way of sorting out problems due to zero constructive communication.

I bought a deal. I booked an appointment with the merchant, but when I arrived there they haven't actually booked me. The other times that were offering were too far in the future or unsuitable times. I emailed groupon to get a refund and they said that they had to "investigate". It is been more than a month and no response. I have emailing them, sometimes they responded saying that they were "looking into it", sometimes no response. A couple of days ago they emailed me saying that they haven't heard anything from me (we have been exchanging emails two days before that) and that they were going to close my ticket. I emailed a few times saying that the issue has not been resolved, but no response. They could say yes or not, if they give me a good reason not to give me my money back that would be fine, but just delaying, not responding and close an issue that has been unresolved is unacceptable.

In the middle of January 2015 I bought my partner a product off Groupon, that was been sold by Yellowstone partners.
It was a Jawbone UP24 for £70 rrp £100.
This was for her birthday on the 23rd of January.
The item never arrived, whats more, up to date 18/02/2015 I still haven't received the item, or a refund, or an apology!
Despite numerous emails, and phone calls to both companies there is no resolution.
In fact...
Groupon have a resolution centre, they esculate the problem, and you have to wait 10 working days for an answer, patiently I waited...
No answer, no update email, nothing!
I called them for an answer after the allotted time, and was told that they hadn't had an answer back from Yellowstone, or Hermes, so therefore we would have to wait another 3 working days!
It is now past that date, I still haven't had an answer, no monies back, no answer from Groupon, who are saying that even though the item was purchased from themselves, the contract is with Yellowstone Partners.
Yellowstone do not have a contact number, and do not reply to emails, Hermes do not want anything to do with it, as they are the carriers.
I have contacted Paypal as this is how I paid for it, they have raised an investigation.

It absdolutely stinks that Groupon DO NOT WANT TO KNOW, yesterday, I purchased the item at full price from Halfords, so now a £100 item so far has cost £170 with no resolution, or any refund.

DO NOT USE GROUPON FOR ANY ELECTRICAL ITEMS!

I am left this morning feeling extemely disappointed with Groupon, I purchase alot from Groupon between both mine & my husbands account, we use many other similar companies like Wowcher, Amazon Local, 5PM & despite many years of using these various deals and companies I have NEVER had any issues whatsoever so this morning never have I been left so disgusted with poor service as I have on how my enquiry was handled by Groupon. Coco Beauty in Hamilton reneged on the appointment booked but when I called this morning and spoke with Deena I was appalled at the initial response I received which was "I cannot refund your money today" I was also advised my case would need investigated, forgive me but was I not the person who was let down, left disappointed - whats to investigate? Contact the supply - confirm the situation & refund - this can be done in a 2 minute call!

Fuming is an understatement,

I seriously suggest some customer care training, it is so easy in business to complicate issues which do not require complication I have emailed both roy blanga and joe harrow & so far have not received a response from either. I ordered snow paw, baby snow boots in winy red/maroon colour. The price was £14.99 in total so not too bad that was including delivery of £1.99. They came on time but the box was just a plain old cardboard box with no branding on it with dents and was all out of shape and was torn. The inside of the boots were stained with the maroon red colour on the white cotton fur thing it wasn't even and didn't look good so I know it wasn't part of the design.
I was upset because I didn't feel I could give this as a gift anymore I'd have to get another box for the box n try to clean them before hand... not happy n to return them would cost me..

We recently bought a Maddison sofa through Groupon only to find that nobody had any control over purchase and delivery. Groupon customer service seemed incapable of giving information on delivery or even of the actual company that was the supplier of the product. Lots of "we are looking into it" and" we are concerned about the service" e-mails. Met David, Nancy and others together with reference numbers for phone calls. They are obviously trained to make sympathetic noises and pretend that they know more than they do. It is so infuriating because you have paid out a chunk of money and no product has arrived. Three weeks later phone call out of the blue to tells us that the sofa is on its way and would be delivered the next day after 12pm. Hurrah! So sofa arrives before 12pm delivered by miserable local driver who had been sub contracted and obviously knows no more than we do. When I finally see the corner sofa I realise that it is of the poorest quality and bears little resemblance to the photograph in the offer. It cost £299 instead of £699. A true bargain! Nope the sofa is probably worth £199 at most. Cushions are missing and centre back cushion is mocked up and partly filled. It is just pieces of foam covered in cheap fabric. All in all the whole order has been a fiasco but with no reward to enjoy at the end. We are now looking at ways of covering this cheap and ugly sofa instead of showing it with pride.And the future with Groupon. Well we still get e-mails telling us that they are investigating its delivery and will let us know when it is on its way. You just couldn't make it up could you? I bought a voucher through Groupon for air con top up in Plymouth. After two months the temperature of the air being blown out in to the car was warmer than when I took it in. I emailed the company concerned and that was totally ignored so I emailed Groupon. Yes they said they take things like this seriously - 3 holding emails and today an email saying to contact the garage to make a complaint. I have done that! Dont buy anything from this company.

I purchased an item from groupon at the start of august which i never received. I contacted them in relation to this around mid august. Since then all they have done is reply to my emails with we are looking into the matter. I have sent numerous emails and asked for their complaints procedure but i only ever get a robotic response from an agent who clearly has not even bothered to read my message. Well over 1 month and i am still without my item and no one has addressed the fact i am complaining or asking for a refund.

I had purchased a Groupon Getaway and was looking to go the weekend of the 25-27th. Aware that the weekend I was looking to go would probably fill up quickly, I followed the directions specified on the fine print, clicked the link provided: Weekender Breaks and was instructed to fill out basic info such as name, email, and voucher number. I was never asked which dates I was looking to go and was not even given the option to choose. What is not specified on the Groupon is that once the "send" button is clicked, the Groupon is then considered redeemed despite never actually having any concrete dates. Furthermore, the booking agent WEEKENDER BREAKS never contacted me, and after having to call them the dates I wanted had already been filled. The agent then offered to call me to see if there were any other available trips but unsurprisingly, never did. Upon emailing Groupon for a refund they refused, holding that in their fine print once it is marked redeemed they cannot issue a refund. After requesting to be sent to a supervisor I never received an email back and had to call them three times before anyone picked up their phone. As of now they forwarded my information to a supervisor and claim I will be handled via email. Given the absolutely dreadful customer service and shady WEEKENDER BREAKS site, I will no longer be using Groupon and advise all others to stay away.

Use Groupon and live to regret it! After spending £200 on the latest Groupon dinning table set. I set about spending the next 3 hours making up the table and chairs only to get to the very last chair to find out they have given me two right legs, and I am unable to to construct the last chair. No problem these thing happen. So I ring Groupon and speak to supervisor Paul Dutton requesting a replacement leg be sent. Only to be told they cannot do this I would have to spend another 3 hours taking it all apart and putting it back in all its wrapping and then into its boxes and then make sure a stay at home for courier collection. Then in time I will receive a refund and then have re order to whole set but again there would be no guarantee that this would be correct. So I will have wasted 6 hours of my time plus any time waiting in for a courier to collect, all for the privilege of constructing and deconstructing a table and chairs set I no longer have, when all I required was one replacement leg for the set to be complete. Very poor customer service. I will not using Groupon again and would advise caution if you are considering using them. You really do get what you pay for, cheaper prices = cheaper experience and very poor customer service.

I always heard people saying that you can find cheap stuff on this site and very good deals and etc. So finally decided to give it a try,! Boy was i wrong. I found this 2in1 iron steamer which i really needed. I bought it and after a couple days i received it. When i opened the box to my surprice, the item was damaged, used and in awful condition. I cannot believe that they actually shipped that item to me. I was angry and so i returned it. I asked for a replacement and not refund but they refused it because apparently the offer has ended.its been a week and i still havent received my refund. Very disappointed, don't recommend it at all.
P.S. I guess the only thing worthy might probably be to get a deal for a service such as hotel, spa and not to buy an actual product. But this is just a guess
