I purchased two bracelets with Swarovski elements for Christmas presents. Gave them to two persons but both have come back to me to say the clasps don't work. I. Ow have both bracelets in my possession after embarrassing exchange with persons to whom I gave them as gifts. Now i find that they have to be returned within 7days or no refund... What? Never again.

I recently purchased the shaker bed & mattress for £199 inc delivery.
I waited in all day for the delivery (they do not give you a time slot; just 8am-6pm) and the item turned up faulty.
Upon delivery, I inspected the contents of the boxes to find a corner of the headboard broken off; the bed is of such bad quality that the broken corner fell out of the box and broken again into pieces on the floor. There was no protective packaging; no styrofoam/bubblewrap/etc... just a cardboard box.
I took photos of the broken bed and refused the delivery; the delivery driver put the boxes & mattresses back onto the van.
I attempted to phone customer services, which took 25 minutes to get through to an adviser.
I was then told that because I had refused the delivery, my refund would take longer than expected; I was 'supposed' to have taken the delivery and then arranged for their courier to collect the item another day... I am not prepared to wait around at home for another day and waste even more of my time for their convenience!
So now I am waiting for a refund...
Not good enough Groupon! I will NEVER buy any Groupon Goods Global products again.
Poor quality, and poor customer service. Not recommended

Bought a Groupon voucher for extreme homecare oven clean... their version of whole oven clean is the oven floor and door... absolute ripoff... better off buying a can of Mr Muscle. Groupon customer care non exisistent

Bought several items, services, vacations and found them to be the most reliable of the discount sites. They had a very difficult period when new kids on the block but with Adam Lindsey at the helm of Customer Service, they are excellent and I constantly recommend them. Any problems are resolved with the least fuss and fairness

Bought three items recently and each one has been barely worth the price paid. Struggle to believe these were sold at three times the price. I think the reason these deals are there is thatb he suppliers can't sell this junk. Just unsubscribed and Groupon won't be hearing from me again.
If you do use them I would only buy branded goods that you already know.

I have used Groupon twice and have been stitched up both times!
The first time, I ordered a hoover 3 months ago and it never turned up. At first they kept saying that it was on it's way and now they are saying that there is a problem with the delivery company. It's been 3 months and we still don't have it!

The second time, I ordered an online business course and received an English course! Being born and bred in England, I don't see how this would be much use. After over a week, they replied to my email stating that according to the fine print, there are no refunds on this product!

I would only recommend Groupon to people that I really don't like.

I placed an order for a TV with Groupon in the UK, and received the confirmation email stating delivery in 5 working days. After 6 working days no TV, no communications so I called them. I was told that the order had been lost and they would start a lost order procedure, which takes 10 working days. It is interesting that they lost the order, which is I assume a record in a database, but the customer service rep could still pull up all of the details on screen when I talked to him. Anyway once they declare it lost you are apparently in to a fixed 10 day period when they try to sort it out, why 10 days?
I called them twice during the 10 days but they could not tell me anything until the 10 day period had passed. Today is the day so I just called again, and spoke to a woman, yes the 10 days were up but she could not tell me anything either. She has to pass a message to the original representative to sort it out! Why? Do they not use the same IT systems, she should be able to see the same info that any of the others do.

During this process I have not been contacted by Groupon in any way regarding this problem, they still have my £999 I do not have the TV.

I would not advise ANYONE to use this company - their Customer Service is not a service it's totally unacceptable.

My daughter purchased some vouchers which she was unable to use following an accident. She explained this to Groupon who refunded her money in the form of credit vouchers. Because she then suffered severe complcations to her health she didn't realise that the credit had an expiry date.

Having now almost fully recovered she thought she would treat herself to a day out using the credit she had (over £100.00 incidentally) hoever, when she came to use it and logged ito her account she discovered that ot had "expired". Thinking that there had been a mistake she emailed the Customer Service department asking them to reinstate the missing money. Only to be met by a refusal. Further emails have been summarily dismissed, even though she explained the circumstances.

Groupon are an unfeeling, uncaring bunch who do not put their customers first and use their terms and conditions as a way to steal unsuspecting customer's money. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID.

Groupon deals always appear amazing but when you go to redeem them the small print make them practically useless, their customer service leaves something to be desired as well. Avoid!

I used this every now and than and it seemed okay. I wouldn't say I got great deals from it; equivalent deals are offered elsewhere but I found it convenient. One small voucher issue has decided it for me though. Voucher was for multiple online calendar purchases. Valid until 31. 12. 12. I spent two days putting the calenders together and went to redeem it on 31. 12. 12. Voucher didn't work. Emailed groupon and expected issue to be resolved after new year. After getting in touch with them by email and phone, when I did talk to someone, they accused me of:
1. Not having enough time to do the calendars based on the time noted for attempted redemption, never mind the fact that you can only redeem after putting the calendars together. So basically blame the customer.
2. Emailing them with not enough time to resolve the issue. So the expiry date on the deals is not the real expiry date, it's the customers fault for thinking it is!
After telling me off for their own screw up, tells me it's expired so they can't do anything about it.
Would not let me talk either. Kept talking over me and telling me I was yelling when I wasn't. Classic service industry tactic to shift blame again to the customer. I've witnessed and been subjected to this to recognize it quickly.
At this point I thought they could not offer me anything that would make up for the two days wasted and the groupon voucher.
Negative publicity is all that works for large organizations. So where ever I can, I will spread the word!

I bought there only one coupon, but it was ok. Dinner was good, cheaper and I tried something new. I think if I see something interesting what's good bargain I'll definitely buy it. Let's see what will happen the next. Maybe I'll have different experience and then I review it again

I brought a deal for a vehicle service with pit stop motors for £40, value was £140. It took ages to book an appointment but managed one eventually. Also paid extra to have MOT which was additional £30.

All fine until I turned up at the address given and searched for 40 minutes around the area. No sign of any Pit Stop Motors garage. After asking other garages in the area was told that lots of other people have been searching for them and they don't exist.

Okay, alarm bells are ringing now as I made a payment with them for an MOT. Checked with my bank and £400 was taken out of my account!
Emails, Website and Numbers for this company no longer exist.

Called Groupon to complain about the fact they advertised a fraudulent company who ripped me off. They didn't want to know and couldn't give me an answer to say why they didn't contact me or others who brought the deal, when they found out that the company was a fake!

I am trying to do what I can to get my money back, but Groupon are washing their hands of this and offer no help!

What really annoys me is that Groupon don't seem to care that they promoted a scam and didn't even bother check if the company exist. How can this be?

THE ORIGINAL BED COMPANY, I bought a tv bed from this company through the groupon website, once i had paid for the bed on there website couln't get hold of them for a month so contacted groupon was told lots of times they would call me back within 72 hours they did not for about 4 times and after alot of moaning started getting the ball rolling to get a refund at which point the original bed company contacted me by MOBILE PHONE to inform me the bed would be delivered to me in a week but only 3/4 of it the main tv part of the bed will come later i excepted this well eventually it all arrived over a time of 2 weeks and once I put it together the tv lift part didn't work so contacted them and they sent me information to reset remote to lift part of bed and eventually got it sorted i paid £699 for a bed that should of been £2999 yeah right If I was to repeat this experience I would kick myself in th nuts and say wake up and smell the coffee if anyone is in the same situation and havent yet got your bed then these mobile numbers may help transport manager *******9778 and owner of the company is *******1100 dont call the landline number for them it hasn't worked in 4 months GOOD LUCK

Payment was taken from my account but the voucher never arrived.
They refused a refund and insisted to credit me instead. As mentioned in all the reviews here 'Stay away from this groupon rubbish'.

I purchased a voucher and found that when I ordered the goods advertised for 14.99 was charged 89.99 at the checkout! Unfortuneately I never checked the receipt and now cannot get any response either by phone or email. Heres hoping that they contact me maybe they have a backlog of emails to get through but there is just a recorded message on the phone line saying they are not available at the moment even though I rang during their advertised opening hours. BE AWARE

BEWARE of Groupon, just got ripped off! And just got off the phone with their customer service, horrendous! Before Christmas I bought 170 pound accommodation in a Tenerife time share resort(which was not disclosed in the deal). Today I got an email stating my accommodation is cancelled as I have not given my flight details yet(for March!). Groupon said I should understand that the booking agents have their own fine print!

I placed an order in October for a bluetooth headset to give as part of a Christmas present.

I tried to retrieve the vouvher and the website crashed, I tried it a few days later to which I was told the voucher had already been redemmed, took me a month and a hlaf to get groupon to look into it after numerous emails.

They agreed there had been an error on the website, I then placed the order on the 29th of November and have paid my postage and I still have no headset to thisd date. Groupon have eventually lookd into it and said it will be another 21 working days before I recieve the headset, so 3 months after placing the order I am no further forward, do not use this site

Don't bother booking the Karting 2000 offer through Groupon, it is a scam. We turned up last week on time as booked and was told the track was flooded and we would have to ring back and re book. Re book we did and was told all was well with the track just turn up and you can have extra laps for the inconvenience. Again we turned up as booked on time and was told by the same young scapegoat the track was still flooded from the previous week. Obviously suspicious I asked could I see the track. He then changed his mind and said the extraction system had failed, so I asked could I see the extraction system. He led me to the track and pointed in the air to a gas room heater suspended from the ceiling and said there it is, thats what is broke. I suggested that the extraction system looked very similar to a heater and he became very nervous and said he had been told by his Manager not to allow any racing and I would have to ring back and speak to the Manager or get a refund from Groupon. Well done Karting 2000 for ruining one of my son's christmas presents. Not rang Groupon about a refund yet and I don't suppose they can be blamed but I would advise anyone considering a trip to Karting 2000 Froxmer st Manchester to go somewhere else. A very shady looking outfit.

I have had huge success with this site when buying local deals for places I've heard of or used before eg salons, restaurants etc.
I have now been left infuriated by a deal for a memory foam bed from cloudsmemoryfoam, I bought the deal over three months ago, have been emailed with two possible delivery dares in that time and have still received no bed!
Cloudsmemoryfoam do not answer phone calls or respond to emails, neither do groupon. In affect they have stolen nearly £100 from me, very tempted to start legal proceedings as the poor customer service from both companies is disgusting!
What is more outrageous is cloudsmemoryfoam are now running another deal on groupon, surely if there are outstanding orders and complaints groupon should use some savvy and suggest the company meets demand prior to making new deals?!
Very poor service and will not use groupon again, there are other companies running the same deals... well worth looking around folks!

Bought 3 items through Groupon, 2 orders I had to chase constantly, one of which I threatened legal action and just to name and shame, Matching Bedding Company have failed to fulfil my order. Surely Groupon should be vetting these companies. That's enough for me - will never purchase again through Groupon.
