Very low quality
April 17, 2016

Best to print out photos with another service or pharmacy, very bad quality and you need to send an email to deactivate account & that takes a while or they will charge you continually.

Don't use Groovebook!
April 16, 2016

I've used Groovebook for over a year and wanted to give as gifts. I bought 2 gift cards through the app and the company gave me 2 false gift card numbers. After a month of emailing back and forth, because that's the only form of customer service, They refuse to give a refund. I have reported them to the better business bureau and they will not respond to any claims from them. Horrible way to do business! I cancelled my account!

The first two months I paid but could not download the photos. Tried and it was going to take two days to get 100 downloaded! Customer service was slow and not very helpful. Automated and dismissive.
When a book finally arrived, I was shocked at the quality of the photos. I am a photographer, so I did not expect perfection, but the photos were dark and gray. Even white paper that was photographed was gray. I can't believe that there is such poor quality control.
Snapfish made a mistake in buying this company. It hurts Snapfish's reputation. After writing this review I will go on line and cancel my subscription to Groove Book.

From the night they appeared on Shark Tank I was in. After selling to Shutterfly, a HUGE disappointment. Quality dropped, Customer Service is beyond a joke. App won't upload photos half the time. They charge you even if you are attempting to get technical help and cant upload your photos. There are no live operators to talk to. You are just stuck in their automated nonsense. I really hope someone comes up with the same product. I loved it in the beginning. I'm out now.

Originally loved them and their quality. After they sold out, the picture quality is terrible. I also continually have a hard time uploading my pics from my iPhone 6. Hate to quit them as I am at least regularly printing pics inexpensively, but it's a hassle uploading for such poor pics!

Dissapointed
April 5, 2016

The concept of Groovebook is fantastic! Ordered a few books over several months. Their customer service is HORRIBLE. Trying to update my credit card information is impossible since I have received a new card. I am completely unable to log in and no one on their end can help me. I continue to get the run around. I am trying to cancel my account. Time to move on!

Very Hard to Use
April 2, 2016

No way to reset password. Quirky way of uploading photos and verifying photos you have sent before. Not user friendly at all.

Shame, seemed like a great concept and I as excited. The app crashed constantly on my iPhone 6 - I was never able to choose photos for a book. I emailed Groovebook, got a reply saying they couldn't find my account because I used the wrong email address to send it. EVEN THOUGH all the account information, including the email used to sign up was in the body of my message. I resent using the email associated with my account. They never answered. Weeks ago. And they want me to pay for a subscription? Oh, yeah, they make it a complete pain to cancel, too. They oughta be ashamed.

And now responses to tweets saying I never responded to their emails. This, after many emails exchanged and account finally cancelled. Wow. Accusing me? Shameful.

I first contacted them in 11/15 regarding my inability to upload pics. They said the would credit my account and cancel my subscription. I noticed charges again in January, 2016 and contacted them once again. They again confirmed my account was cancelled. Charges continued on my latest statement I received this month, so I filed a complaint with my credit card company, and they put a block on any future charges. Groovebook refuses to respond to my emails at this point. What a scam!

Well, I would give this a zero if I could. I joined this morning and tried to make my first book. It's been trying to download since 9:30 this morning and at 4:00 it's stuck at 60 of the 100 photos downloading. There is no phone number to call, you can only email and it could take up to 3 business days for them to get back to you if they get back to me. Now I'm reading the reviews and it seems this is a common issue and similar experience with many. Some people claim they can't cancel of get their money back. I'm mad!

The quality is poor and so is the service. I cancelled my subscription due to not being able to download photos because their system was busy and I was told to "try again later". By the time I could download photos the deadline had passed. This happened several times and seemed like a waste of money so I cancelled. They also continued to withhold the money from my account for several months and I had to go through the hassle of changing out my card number to stop the charges.

I have probably 50,000 pictures on my computer and I am constantly taking pictures but I never end up doing anything with my pictures. I saw this on Shark tank and was so excited! I just received my free book today and I absolutely love it! I hav already told people about it. I think this is the best idea. Thank you inventors of Groovebook! Knowing I get to look forward to this every month for such an affordable price really makes me so happy. Perfect to keep my kids pictures together and organized with month and year! Absolutely perfect. I don't know how someone could say anything bad about it! Again thank you!

Complete rip off
February 26, 2016

I bought a subscription as a gift for my 18 yr old sister Christmas before last. The plan was for it to be for one year and then I would cancel it. We live halfway across the country from each other and she never used it and I think she forgot about it. She probably would have loved it if she had started using it because Groovebook was getting great reviews back then. (Im reading now that they were bought out recently which seems to be when it went downhill) Anyway, I tried to call to cancel, and got an automated message saying they only communicate by email. Thats never a good sign. So I sent an email requesting a cancellation. I forgot about it, didnt get a response, and realized two months later Im still being billed. Emailed again, this time sternly, and they responded saying they cant locate my account and needed more information. I wrote back with full name, billing address, and even a screen shot of my bank statement with their charges. They say they cant find any record of my name, my email or any of my sisters information and therefore cant do anything. Its ridiculous. Their customer service office who handles the emails is in India, so the whole operation is about as detached as possible. Theyre basically telling me that because THEY cant find the information that I KNOW I signed up with, Im just screwed and will just have to eat $3 a month the rest of my life? I dont think so. I feel like Groovebook is a big scam and because its only a few dollars a month they think they can get away with it without much of a fight. Screw these guys.

App won't upload photos
February 24, 2016

I ordered 2 books in January and they are great. I was so excited about ordering more. In February Groovebook said I uploaded 101 pics and wouldn't send them to printing. After many emails to customer service, I was told my book was in production and received a new book for March. I quickly filled it with 100 (and only 100) pics, but again couldn't send to printing because GB says I have 101 in book.

I've requested a cancellation, but understand from reviews this may be hard to get. Wish I had read these reviews first.

This is the second month I have not been able to upload pix and yet paid the $2.99. Someone from India has been trying to help but I get the same response which leads to no success.

I will look for another source that offers the same service. Such a shame! I have enjoyed it so much for so long.
