Frustratingly bad

Thought I would give it the 30 day free trial, realizing it's still expensive bc of having to tip driver. Placed my order and instantly the computer split half of it up for delivery that night and half of it up for "shipping" the next day, even though I had made sure all was in stock and I had selected delivery. Since I had selected 10% tip, the driver got that for the whole delivery also. Got a text saying my order was delivered and it was not. Tried to call WM and recording tells me they have high call volume... 20 minutes later driver shows up. Next day while I am not home, groceries are left on my front door with the "shipping" order. That night, after I had just fallen asleep, my phone goes off with a text from WM thanking me for tipping my driver. WTH? I cancelled this worthless "service".

I've been having problems with Walmart grocery deliver for more than a year now and it is getting worst.
I've had my grocery orders cancelled 18 times now by Walmart without any notice. I've lost count of how many times my husband and I have had to call their customer service about the same problems. And nothing has changed. Their customer service is useless, and inept. My husband and I don't drive and are both disabled. We chose Walmart grocery delivery service because we really loved Walmart. My kids grew up wearing clothes from Walmart. I wore clothes from Walmart. We bought TVs, stuff for our kitchen and every part of our house. We have spent lots of money at Walmart for years. We were strongly loyal
Customers. Walmart was once an American icon. And it's sad to see them cancelling themselves out of our American culture. They have shown themselves to be disloyal to their customers and heartless to those who need their service.

Delivery problem

This is twice that my home delivery has been sent to the wrong address, this time leaving a refrigerated in the 80 degree plus weather for over an hour. This is unacceptable.

I don't have a way of sending a photo of an online purchase.

Always issues

I used to call my order in for pickup, but being disabled and with covid concerns/going out, I got Walmart + and started deliveries. I live in a 55+ community. Almost every order has issues. Missing items, items I didn't order. Lately the tracker says delivered but shows the driver not at my house. Happened again today. I have to go out and look for my groceries. If I try and contact the driver, chances are they speak no English. Customer service records the issues and logs my complaint (I'm told) on my order now, the pickup dept told me they are just re-filling the order and sending it out again. I'm not really satisfied at all with Grocery delivery although I still gave 3 stars

Even though I have marked that I would take substitutions I still was missing products. How hard is it to substitute pasta. They have no problem giving a refund but it takes days. Was having a couple of friends over, hadn't decided yet what to make. Had buns but no burgers. Had sauce but no pasta. The thing that is most frustrating is I paid top delivery price to get it within 2 hours. Had to order from another grocery store, once again having to meet their minimum amount for delivery and pay delivery charges. I'm a senior (vulnerable) some vision problems is one of my disabilities. So I don't drive. I live alone. Really can't afford to take a taxi everytime. I need to shop. One of the things I don't understand is why they couldn't send my missing products. They said that was not their policy...?

Online customer service agents for Walmart, monkeys could have done better. I will never shop online Walmart again. It started three days ago when my groceries was delivered and five things were missing. This was the beginning of a Horror Story. So they gave me promotion codes because of the missing food. Over the course of the next three days it was horrible. The promotion codes did not work. I called back 10 times so I can tell them the problem. No one listened! One guy kept me online for 40 minutes and he came back and told me I was scammer. I will never ever order anything from Walmart again ever as long as I live Amazon here I come Amazon Prime you can soak Walmart idiots they still owe me $50 of my own $$.

Takes forever to find a store that delivers_then they have no dates_ finally you get one and pay and you can't confirm because suddenly it says not available. They try and extort you by not making it easy to get delivery unless you pay for it. This isn't and never will be Amazon. I just find local stores that will deliver. Walmart is doing something illegal by baiting and switching between free delivery and pickup or refusing to fulfill the order at all. Disgusting.

Time saver

Have used Walmart delivery since June 2021 with no problems. We are in our early 80's and this service is a life saver for us. The drivers have been courteous and bring the groceries into the kitchen and set them on the counter. We are totally satisfied with this service

What a joke

I've used their delivery service quite often, and I don't think it's ever actually performed as they claim. Items are generally at least 3 days late, and my last order they lied about availability because nobody wanted to deliver a heavy item. After a week and a half they eventually canceled the order. Despite any savings on actual items purchased, the cost is far higher in the end because of the unreliability and dishonesty of this company. Time to pay more so I can actually get what I pay for I guess. See attached liar emails!

My order was 40 minutes late, several items were missing, and the substitutes were absurd! Lettuce instead of cabbage? What?! 2stale donuts in an opened container? And you expect me to return that for a refund? If I was able to get to Walmart don't you think I would have shopped myself?
You should be ashamed.

I regrettably signed up for home delivery for a year. I've had to cancel delivery services on several occasions because Walmart didn't have anyone to deliver the groceries to my home. Meat should not be left in a grocery cart waiting on a driver to bring groceries to your home. Once you cancel your order- it takes several days for your account to be credited! This is just not acceptable.The last time I ordered, I wanted to get my granddaughter some Mac/Cheese. I'm waiting several days later on NO update on when it will be delivered!

Horrible drivers

I am really disappointed by the horrible customer service I continually receive. I would not recommend getting orders delivered, ever! I order from the Riverton Walmart and they continually screw up and deliver my order to the wrong house. To make things even worse, their drivers will not answer their phones and customer service will only refund you and tell you to reorder. Bigger problem, they are continually out of stock which makes it impossible to reorder what you need. Don't bother calling in because all they will tell you is that they can't help. Doesn't help when you have theifs for neighbors who won't return your groceries to you either! Won't be ordering online going forward.

I have been a Walmart customer for years. When they began offering delivery we were ecstatic. If I could rate it a zero I would. Their door dash delivery drivers mostly don't speak English and always state they can't find our home despite me putting our address in the comments and texting the driver a pin for our address and giving them detailed directions. We live 3.6 miles from one and 4.8 miles from another. Drivers state they can't find our address and cancel our order or on two occasions have drove off with our groceries. Walmart will not replace stolen groceries despite no confirmation they were ever delivered or canceled. We had to wait days for a refund which was a huge hassle to accomplish. One order was just at $400 and the other was $314. They also don't inform you that your groceries may be in two separate deliveries from other stores which means two drivers expecting tips. They claim once the drivers leave their store they are not responsible for what happens. The managers at both stores told us to please not use delivery because they have numerous drivers steal groceries and to rate the delivery at a zero. The employers at Walmart consistently request to stop using door dash and other delivery services due to high rate of theft and poor service. Once our groceries smelled of cigarettes and covered in dog hair and her dog was in the car with her. Once a driver was extremely filthy and their car was horrid dirty. We now use Kroger click list or shop in the store. Walmart needs to re-evaluate their delivery service and the loss their customers are incurring. This could be a great benefit to the people like myself battling illness and sometimes not able to go to the store or due to time restraints with work and long hours.

Missing items

I'm not renewing my anual membership, they are always delayed but what bothers me the most is that there is always missing items, this time a jar a Nutella $8, eggs 4, salad 5, carnations 5 more than 20 dlls in missing items is not right.

Dont bother

This is my second time to try to have groceries delivered to my son in another state who has no car. The first time they gave to the wrong person who lived in his apartment building. This time they didnt text him they were there. Im assuming Cassandra just set the bags down and drove away. He never got anything. Then you have to wait 48 hours to get a refund on your card. AWFUL! The store when you call in Indianapolis after 4 hours never answered. The manager didnt care, and said they use delivery drivers and it is not Wal-Marts fault. He couldnt wait to get off the phone. Save yourself stress and just do not use wal-mart delivery EVER

Could be so much better

The biggest problem is so many items not in stock, bad substitutions or no attempt to substitute, and drivers are good or bad depending on the one you happen to get. Uber drivers, last one was great, 2 trips of groceries up to my apartment, the one today wouldn't bring it even to the entry of the building.
