Hidding Charges

Online markups on each items is Unnecessary. They then expect members to join for an extra $98. Rip-Off! And a delivery chg over $35. What a racket!

Unbelievably Bad

I can't believe how awful this service is. I have been out of transportation and have leaned heavy on delivery services the last year. It is a 50/50 chance when I use Walmart, if it will come at all, if it will come on time and if it will come with everything I was charged for. The last 2 delivery's I have made one was missing several items that I was still being charged for. The next one was to come 5pm I was told no 7pm now being told 8-9pm. And I have much concerns it will come at all and the HUGE issue is even if I cancel it, the full funds will stay tied up for days if not a week. So I literally have paid for something I didn't get and cant use the money on any other service due to how they keep their charges tied up for so long. No other merchants have a pending charge this long. I have taken snap shot and complained numerous times about these issues and it's still happening. They need to remove this service if they can't fulfill what people are paying for. I also called the store and they won't even let me pick it up if I found a ride up there to get it myself. This is a awful service. The customer service doesn't help. They just tell you to wait and wait and wait. This service needs major help. Beware. You will pay and may or may not get your order. Either way the funds will be tied up in pending for up to 8 days. Ridiculous

I placed an order to be delivered at 3pm. At 2:45 I received a notification of substitute items. I didn't like one but the sub link was expired by the time they sent it (which keeps happening). I called customer service (bc it happens so often, that's what I was told to do). At that point my order was ready for delivery and I got off the phone with CS. Then mins later, I got a notification my order was cancelled. Then a notification of a new order. He cancelled the entire order and rebooked me for 8am the next day WITHOUT permission. So I called the CS and tried to fix it. The woman said she couldn't rebook my spot bc they were fully booked. I said my spot was cancelled only a few mins ago. She said she could ask the store to uncancel, but transferred me and hung up. The phone rang forever, and it was the wrong number, but was connected to a different number that rang for mins. When I finally reached a person they got the manager. The manager said we can't uncancel orders (the CS transferred me for nothing). We hung up and I was frustrated. THEN I received a notification that my delivery is on the way. What?! They were fully booked, right? My order arrived- a box of graham crackers, but not the 85 other items that had been ready for delivery. They were sitting at Walmart bc it was fully booked (but not for graham crackers). That's my experience with Walmart Grocery. Ever since they changed their system I've had tons of trouble. I will say a girl named Megan was the only one that even tried to really help. She was actually pretty great, but nothing could be done at that point

Unreliable!

Walmart used to substitute delivery items that were out of stock. Now I can't even get eggs or hamburger buns. This has happened before. A complaint was put in, but to no avail. They keep dishing out $10 codes to appease your dissatisfaction. I now have to go into the store get what I ordered. What good is delivery?

Horrible

Had it 4 months they have hardly ever got an order right. Products missing, broken eggs, not ok substitutions. And the last 3 deliveries have been late or cancelled. Ordered this morning delivery 7 to 8pm its 10pm had to cancel the order. No communication other than delayed ill be shopping elsewhere

They use door dash for me, frozen food is melted and ruined. The food expires ina day or 2. Lol wth i can't eat all the food in a aday or 2. Rolls eyes. The break eggs. I could go n and on. They think a refund is helping its not. We want the food we order and not old. I mean the bread was moldy the next day. Blueeee. If i knew i could add pics this would be so full. So just smh. If you can get it somewhere else ya should.

I have been ordering groceries from Walmart for 2 years. Lately I have been missing items. This time half of my order was missing. I know I can put in for a refund but this inconveniences me when my order doesn't come. If the item is unavailable then I would get a text from Walmart. So where are the "missing" items. Walmart needs to keep a better check on their delivery drivers. It seems like they are keeping some for themselves

My last 3 orders.
1. Arrived over an hour late, wouldn't cancel order when I tried. All frozen foods thawed and melted.
2. Was an hour after delivery time, this time got it canceled.
3. Reordered from night before, got delivery notice halfway into delivery window, Nothing delivered, nothing! Picture of my groceries delivered was solid black.
4. Today I actually received my order. Only 30 minutes late, delivered by an entire family including 3 small children. The order contained a bag if rotten potatoes that stunk so bad that you had to know. At least 50% were rotten. But at least I did get a delivery?
What is going on with this company

Ordered groceries online, deliver time came and it said it was delayed. Waited up until near midnight. Next day it was out for delivery then they cancelled my order. Apparently the driver returned the groceries after they were loaded. So I hit the reorder button and set it for pickup. Delayed again to the next day... So I went shopping instead and used the app to locate everything I had ordered. After I got to my car, I cancelled the order. Never had this problem with them before.

I've had delivery issues in the past with Walmart to the point that I stopped ordering from them for over a year.

I've recently gotten back to ordering from Walmart earlier this year. I've had a few hiccups but nothing too bad until this past week.

Over the weekend (Saturday) multiple items were missing from my order, however, those were refunded. Yesterday, I placed an order that was actually en route over an hour late only to be delivered to the wrong address. The picture where the driver left it was a red blur. That order was refunded. Today, I placed a small order for items needed the same day. This order was an hour late. The app updated my order to en route, then delayed, and then canceled within fifteen minutes.

Never again. I'm done.

I've attached an image of where my order placed on July 11,2022. Maybe someone can figure out where the hell this was left.

After making an order that was delayed by a day I was told the order would arrive between 6pm and 7pm. Come to find out at 6:40pm that not only has the delivery not been processed but they had no drivers to complete these deliveries, thus the order was delayed. Next time estimate was 11:55pm which was already extremely late, and after all the wait at 12:19am I call the assigned driver only for them to tell me the order was canceled because I was not answering to a phone number that was not even mine! I'm left without groceries, waiting on a refund from a system that takes days which means that I will have to go hungry for at least two weeks.

After all of that, customer service told me to reorder and that once I reordered I would receive a vouched for 10% off the order after the reorder.

Yes! This is a from store delivery that's two miles from my home, I'm disabled and count on this for food and other products.
I canceled my 12.95 subscription as customer service is in a different country.
WALMART, YOU SUCK AND THANKS AGAIN FOR NOTHING. I WILL DRIVE ACROSS TOWN. I will pay more for better service as I was spending 900+ a month at Walmart.

The best I can say is this service stinks. My order totals 93.00 and I receive 4.00 worth of items. God only knows if I will ever see anything else. Most of my items are delivered to somewhere else. I give up. I want my money back! Do yourself a favor and NEVER use Walmart delivery!

Walmart services suck! Their customer service both in store associates and representatives are terrible, delivery services, and pick up experiences are slow and almost ALWAYS miss something or are always lazy to shop the entire store and will just tell you something is out. I can then proceed go go into the store and purchase "the out of stock option". I will rather pay more and shop elsewhere. I have had nothing but terrible experiences with an expected issue every single time I shop pick up or delivery grocery option. Waste of time and money. 0 out of 5 star rating.

Excellent Grocery Delivery Service

I have been using grocery delivery for over 2 years, and I had not yet used Walmart's grocery delivery before today. I am very happy with the entire shopping experience and I will continue to use them from now on. The website made it easy to find items I needed and add them to my cart. The produce was fresh and my order was completed without any errors. The delivery service was on time, and I am sure I saved over $50 on my grocery order.

It's really crap shoot ordering from Wal-Mart for delivery. Either nearly half of what I've put in my cart is out of stock when I get ready to place my order, or after ordering, when it's ready for delivery, a goodly amount of items are no longer available. Very frustrating. Also my orders have gone missing several times and I've had to ask for refunds for the whole order or parts of it I paid for but didn't get. Another time I received a call saying I needed to pick up an order that plainly stated it was for delivery. Only reason I haven't canceled my membership are some items I can't get elsewhere and the free shipping on anything I shipped by FedEx.

Buyers Beware

This is by far the bottom of the barrel when rating grocery services. Currently I have Shipt, Instacart and Amazon Prime who may have problems from time to time but also ways to resolve those problems that show they value their customers.
Plain and simple Walmart does not deliver. They do not have customer service to deal with delivery service problems.
When you have an issue and you call all they can do is credit your account. They can not make sure you get undelivered or spoiled items. They do no keep frozen items like ice cream cold. They tell you they are cold and frozen when they leave the store. They can not get hold of drivers who may have left your groceries in the car. They can not find out who shopped your order improperly.

Walmart takes no responsibility for any of these issues other than to give you a credit. They can not replace your order time and so you have to wait hours to reorder your items. There is no priority for your problems to be taken care of promptly. If they screwed up on items that don't total your minimum order you will actually have to pay for redelivery. You may have to wait hours again because of availability. They will tell you to call the store and when you do the phone will ring and ring and if you are lucky enough to have a person answer they will tell you they can not help you. They are ridiculous.
My last dozen orders had issues. I spent at least 30 minutes on the phone with each one of them to get refunds for items that were wrong items, spoiled items or just plain missing. If you value your time steer clear of this service. At least in Tampa Palms, Florida.
I see this site is claiming this review has medium credibility. Well give this service a try and you will see just how credible it it

Walmart has been bugging me to try their grocery delivery service for a long time, and I decided to give them a shot. Big mistake.

I first order was an hour and a half late. Frozen items were completely thawed and other perishables were questionable. I tried to use their online reporting feature to get a refund for the damaged items only to find that I was expected to drive them to a Walmart location. If I wanted to drive to walmart, I wouldn't have ordered grocery delivery! Eventually, I tracked down the customer service telephone number and got refunded (credit where credit is due, the customer service rep was extremely helpful and friendly, and handle the situation promptly).

I placed a second order, and part to replace the items that were destroyed the first time around. Since there was a 3-day wait at that point for another delivery appointment, I sprung for the express 2 hour service. Two and a half hours later, when the items should have been at my doorstep, they still hadn't left the store and I canceled the order.

At this point I'm pretty discouraged by Walmart, but decided to give them one final chance. Another order, another Express payment, and you probably can guess what happened. 2-hour delivery window ending at 2:10, and it's now almost an hour late.

Three strikes and you're out, Walmart. I'm headed back to instacart.
