The car was brand new and in very good running conditions. However, the shuttle may take a long time to take you to the rental office and it'd be easier if they were right at the airport

SCAM ALERT! Worst experience EVER. Rented through Priceline for $30 and change. When I arrived at this offsite office, the scam began. Would you like our insurance? No, my USAA insurance covers me. Their answer was ok, thats fine, do you have all 20 pages of your insurance policy with you and if you use your insurance, we will need a $2,000 deposit! I said I can pay the deposit, but absent my actual, printed out insurance policy it was a no go, It's a scam! I am 65, I have rented thousands of cars in my life, NEVER have I had this bad an experience! The caar they rented me had marks and dings on every panel! A piece of junk in most fleets. The brakes were bad too! When I asked one of the employees how he deals with working for a company where every customer is upset and yelling his answer wasnt to defend the company, he sais "you get used to it!" BEWARE! STAY AWAY!

When I rent a car from greenmotion at Austria, Vienna Airport.
When I turn on engine, engin light and maintenance light is on.
So I asked changed similar car, but they don't have any.
I asked cancel and money back, the staff cancel right a way.
I came back from vacation last Saturday.
They don't money back.
I sent a e-mail greenmotion and Priceline.
So Priceline request money back to greenmotion but they denied.
They are illegally hold 1075.24 Canadian dollar and not refund.
Please don't take high risk from Greenmotion.

Answer: DON'T do it. They advertise low and sting you at the counter! Clerks hard sell additional insurance (they get a commission). In Glasgow, Scotland this last August, they tried to get me to pay $800 in insurance to cover a ten day rental that was about $35 a day! Many people have posted about scams where they charged unsuspecting customers for "damages" that were already on the car but the customer may not notice, like a tiny chip in the windshield or a small scratch on the door edge.
Answer: Speeding/parking tickets and police action are slow. They keep the deposit until they are sure there will be no problems with any of those costs. (and yeah, would be speeding fine + massive green motion fee).

I can confirm that security deposits are automatically released by Green Motion on the last day of your rental after it has been established that the rental vehicle has been returned in the same condition as it was provided, and there are no further outstanding charges. Whilst in most cases this is available again within 10 working days, unfortunately, this can take up to 30 days depending on the bank that you use. We suggest that you contact your bank as they may be able to speed this process up for you. Green Motion's policy is to use pre-authorised transactions for our security deposits, which ring-fence the amount within your account, not charge it. This pre-authorised transaction will allow us to make charges if necessary at the end of the rental, but unless this occurs no money will leave your account. Due to the nature of this transaction, the release of these funds may not show on your bank statement as a separate transaction. If you believe that you have been charged your security deposit, please contact your bank and ask them to provide proof of the transaction as a charge on the first day of your rental so that we can look further into this for you. If this amount is still not available in your account after 30 days from the last day of your rental, please contact us at [email protected]. Answer: I believe Green Motion are a perfectly fair and respectful company. I suspect you didn't read their Ts&Cs properly. The two customers being served while I was collecting my car had also not read/understood the conditions and were caught by surprise. The representative dealt with them firmly but fairly.
Answer: They are robbers and scammers, never think to rent a car from green motion, they will charge you thousands of euros, instead buy a new car
