The packaging was excellent for having to travel from NY to ATL. Usually I'd be afraid to order fish, but there were no issues and no odd smells either. I'd definitely order this again.
The only problem I had was i was going to change my payment method but it went through without giving me a chance to add another card. I switched money around in my accounts so it should be alright. I may not have paid attention when sending the order. I have placed several orders through the site and have never had a problem.

I sent the cake to my son in college in California (I'm based in Hong Kong). THE CAKE WAS HELLA DELICIOUS. Last year I spent almost 3 days looking for a chocolate cake without fruit (he recoils at the sight of fruit, silly boy) in the Berkeley area plus finding someone/a company to pick it up and deliver it as the only option available did not offer delivery. All in all, pretty stressful. THIS TOOK 20 minutes and I LOVE IT. Will definitely use it again. THANK YOU and thank you to the bakery that we got it from in Florida.

Answer: They aren't necessarily a scam, but very poor customer service policies. If anything goes wrong with your order, like it did with mine, they just blocked me from their Facebook page so I couldn't leave a review. It's just luck if your order arrives and looks as you would expect and if it doesn't you are out of luck. Just contact local bakeries or restaurants and have them deliver for you, no reason to pay Goldbelly and have a third party who cares nothing about your order throw it around in the back of their truck and deliver it trashed. Goldbelly is unscrupulous and a big risk of wasted money.
