My order came on time. Everything was packaged perfectly and directions for use were included.
Order quantity 1 Junior Cheesecake. They processed it for quantity three. No way to edit/change order. Contacted customer service. Responded 24 hours later. Could not contact vendor to change the order. Eventually got back to me that they could not change it the day it was shipped.

This is such a great site and some fun selections. I ordered my own birthday "cake" from Cake Monkey and it was ok but I just looked at your site for hours, it's so much fun.

Do not purchase from them - we ordered live lobsters from Maine at a cost of 160 for 2 for my birthday! I received 2 dead lobsters 2 days later because they did not ship overnight guaranteed- BTW they charged us 64 in shipping and we ordered 2 weeks in advance to make sure they were on time!

We ordered the "choose your own 12-pack" of tamales from Cootie Browns through Goldbelly. Both my husband and I agreed they were the best tamales we've ever had. The sauces, mole and verde, were equally delicious. We pass through Johnson City quite often on our way to Virginia and will definitely be making a pitstop at Cootie Browns! If you're a foodie, then you'll love Goldbelly!

Answer: They aren't necessarily a scam, but very poor customer service policies. If anything goes wrong with your order, like it did with mine, they just blocked me from their Facebook page so I couldn't leave a review. It's just luck if your order arrives and looks as you would expect and if it doesn't you are out of luck. Just contact local bakeries or restaurants and have them deliver for you, no reason to pay Goldbelly and have a third party who cares nothing about your order throw it around in the back of their truck and deliver it trashed. Goldbelly is unscrupulous and a big risk of wasted money.
