Great packing and instructions with PLF. It explained how long the food keeps in transit during different times of year. Only time anything I've ordered from GB had this.

Shipping was fast and well packaged. Cake arrived in perfect shape. Most of all, it was delicious. Our birthday "girl" was thrilled.
When I went on the website for the actual bakery, they were not going to be able to ship my cupcakes on time, however, Goldbelly did! I got them two days before I needed them in perfect condition in an insulated container with dry ice to keep it from spoiling!
Delivered on time exactly as promised. Food was gift at a local hospital so I was worried it would have a hard time making it in time. All went perfectly and was delicious.

Packaging bags kept bagels for much longer than normal
My wife loved how each bagel was individually wrapped. And they're delicious! Cannot get great kosher bagels on Miami Beach sadly.

Answer: They aren't necessarily a scam, but very poor customer service policies. If anything goes wrong with your order, like it did with mine, they just blocked me from their Facebook page so I couldn't leave a review. It's just luck if your order arrives and looks as you would expect and if it doesn't you are out of luck. Just contact local bakeries or restaurants and have them deliver for you, no reason to pay Goldbelly and have a third party who cares nothing about your order throw it around in the back of their truck and deliver it trashed. Goldbelly is unscrupulous and a big risk of wasted money.
