Great product, great system from ordering to delivery and reasonably priced!
Service and delivery was fine. Product was just ok. Whoopies did not taste like they should, of course that is ur opinion. Meat was not worth the money at all.
My brother graduated and thanks to COVID my husband and I couldn't attend or help celebrate. I was initially going to get a basic bakery cake, but then I somehow found goldbelly and we got him a gift box. He was thrilled and spent about an hour choosing cheesesteaks. He's happy, and I took my brother out to dinner from 3,000 miles away.

Goldbelly put two separate orders/deliveries under one order number #*******. The first one arrived as expected (FedEx tracking ************** - 2 pies from Grand Traverse Pie Co) on July 2. The second order (FedEx tracking ************** - 2 pies from Grand Traverse) never arrived. FedEx texted me on July 6 that the 560 package was damaged and returned to sender. I have not heard anything from Goldbelly about the status of the replacement or a credit.
Pies were fabulous, especially the blueberry. Muffins delivered right on time. Have recommended goldbelly (o at least 20 people during this pandemic.
Anything that gets Ess-a-bagels delivered is the best! Bagels came well wrapped and fresh.

Answer: They aren't necessarily a scam, but very poor customer service policies. If anything goes wrong with your order, like it did with mine, they just blocked me from their Facebook page so I couldn't leave a review. It's just luck if your order arrives and looks as you would expect and if it doesn't you are out of luck. Just contact local bakeries or restaurants and have them deliver for you, no reason to pay Goldbelly and have a third party who cares nothing about your order throw it around in the back of their truck and deliver it trashed. Goldbelly is unscrupulous and a big risk of wasted money.
