This is the second or third time trying Goldbelly. My ordered was to be deliver by Dec 27. Half of the order arrived. The lobster meat pack was send by UPS. Who didn't delivery until Monday Dec 30th. They left the pkg in the warehouse by the time that arrived the ice pack were melted and the lobster has to be throw in the garbage.
That you give credit for spoiled food. Wish i had know sooner.

Easy order placement... great communication... order arrived right on time... the Muffulettas ( I ordered two) were delicious... I've had them in NOLA... I think having them marinate for couple days made them even better (if that's possible)... these were a major hit at my Sunday football game party... will order again for sure... worth the cost... G
I ordered it for my son and his family in upstate New York. He wrote back to me:
"Delicious! We're eating it in the Adirondacks with friends."
The food was delivered within 24 hours of being shipped so it was still frozen. The directions on how to prepare the meal were great. The crabcakes were so good! We will be ordering again to try out of products throughout the country.

Answer: They aren't necessarily a scam, but very poor customer service policies. If anything goes wrong with your order, like it did with mine, they just blocked me from their Facebook page so I couldn't leave a review. It's just luck if your order arrives and looks as you would expect and if it doesn't you are out of luck. Just contact local bakeries or restaurants and have them deliver for you, no reason to pay Goldbelly and have a third party who cares nothing about your order throw it around in the back of their truck and deliver it trashed. Goldbelly is unscrupulous and a big risk of wasted money.
