Bought the cookbook as a Christmas gift for my wife. I was pleased to get it as a signed copy and she was thrilled with the book.

Sad to see a 3rd party now handling the ordering of fine foods from Mary of Puddin Hill. All of the customer history is gone. In the past it was so nice that all of the family names and addresses from previous orders were retained for easy placing of new orders to old locations.
I paid for it to be delivered on a Tuesday and it arrived Thursday. It was hard to get in touch with anyone.

Evrything with the order was fine. Only problem was with delivery. Driver said he had attempted delivery and we were not home. Not true. We were at home waiting for the
Order to arrive. Order was to have arrived on a Friday when he did not deliver it was put up for redelivery on the following Monday. We did not feel the food should have sat all weekend so we complained and a new order was sent out.
Goldbelly's agent had great conversational skills and was very attentive. There was no need for repetitive inquiries as the agent was a fluent English speaker.
The agent was familiar with the product and its packaging.

Answer: They aren't necessarily a scam, but very poor customer service policies. If anything goes wrong with your order, like it did with mine, they just blocked me from their Facebook page so I couldn't leave a review. It's just luck if your order arrives and looks as you would expect and if it doesn't you are out of luck. Just contact local bakeries or restaurants and have them deliver for you, no reason to pay Goldbelly and have a third party who cares nothing about your order throw it around in the back of their truck and deliver it trashed. Goldbelly is unscrupulous and a big risk of wasted money.
