In early November 2010 my grandson ordered a go-cart from gokartusa -- $1150. 00 -- his mother wired them a check. As soon as they got the check, they said it was not in stock. Then why have it on the web site? They said they would return the check. Oops, it got cashed. That began a series of MANY phone calls to the company to have the money refunded. They were polite and each time said "the refund is being processed". Mid February 2011 a local lawyer filed suit against them for the refund and associated costs and about two weeks later the amount was refunded. Of course, we're out a third for costs. So are we to take it for granted that all advertising on the internet is a scam? Yikes!

These people will rip you off. They stole 54 dollars from me. Not a life changing dollar amount, however thieves should be pointed out. I asked for a refund when I noticed things getting weird with the email's they were sending about my order. The Go Kart was back ordered then when they tried to send it and stuck a sneaky little note in the middle of the email real small and changed my color. All the while the invoice never changed color? Turns out they don't carry either color offered on their web site. I contacted them several times, they (Steven and Chelsey) confirmed that I would receive 1254. 00 refund. I got back 1200. 00 contacted them again and was told several times they would contact me. Called back finally got (Edward) accounting on the phone told me pretty much to accept it. I requested to talk to a manager, he said OK and hung up when asked when I should receive my call from management. I was polite and will continue to be polite and they will receive 54 dollars worth of reviews. They will also receive a high recommendation that they change their name to RIP OFF USA.

I pray that they screw a lawyer over who has nothing better to do than make them pay! Amen.

Positively the worst company that I've ever dealt with. I ordered two $5000. 00 Utility Vehicles from them. After my research indicated that parts for the two models I was interested in were hard to obtained, I called before ordering the vehicles. Gokartsusa assured me that parts wouldn't be a problem to order furthermore, all parts are guaranteed for the first year. What a joke! Both broke within the first 30 days and I spent the next 6 months trying to get parts from gokartsusa. I even offered to pay for the parts. No luck. The entire company is a scam and I WILL BE REPORTING THEM TO THE BBB.

In 2010, Roketa was not providing parts on their products. We requested parts for this customer, But Roketa simply did not have them. We have since discontinued most Roketa products. Please see TrailMaster, Joyner and BMS for High Quality and Parts Availability

Gokartsusa is the worst web company ever! I bought a dunbuggy from them and it broke down within three months. Every time i contacted the company for the replacment part i got the run around. I call them i e-mailed them no help at all i even went to the better business and they still could'nt get a responce. This company is garbage and should be sued out of existence!

I ordered a tote-goat replica ($720) -- received an email stating order was shipped -- it has not arrived yet. Sent email -- received reply, "we'll check into it" -- one week later -- no action.

I am a paralegal and would like to file a class action suit vs gokartsusa

GokartsUSA.com is probably run by a guy working out of his mother's basement. I ordered a go-kart for my kids, but received a completely different version without components I wanted. No battery charger included and a ton of parts that I have no idea where they go. Instructions are written in the worst Engrish I've ever seen. Four emails to tech support were ignored and the phone line is always busy. You pretty much have to call them and pretend to be buying something to get a human on the other line. Company rep had the balls to tell me that I didn't follow their complex directions by submitting a ticket, then following up with a call. WORST COMPANY I've seen in a long time.

Gokarts USA Sales and Distribution Office is located at 2442 Estand Way, Pleasant Hill, California 94523. We ship our products from several warehouse locations across the country. Our products are sold Wholesale Direct, arrive in a crate and require final setup/assembly by the customer. The manuals are poorly written and assume that a mechanic is performing the setup. We recommend that a qualified mechanic perform the setup. We can help you with telephone support and parts. We are in California M-F 9am-4pm Pacific Time 925-691-0330

Website makes them sound like they offer customer service but after they sell you an item, you can't get them on the phone or to answer email or to respond in any way. CLOSE THAT WINDOW FAST! RUN before you do something you'll regret, like order that dune buggie which you'll have problems with after only 4 hours of run time. But don't expect to get any answers to your questions even if it's under warranty.

We understand this and that's why we provide Parts for all of the products we sell. What we don't provide is Mechanical support. The customer must perform the mechanics or hire a mechanic. If a customer does not understand this, he can become quickly overwhelmed. If you need support, please complete a Help Request in the Customer service Section of our website. The people are all very rude. I purchased a buggy which was more than $6k and it came with a broken instrument panel. They promised they would replace it. They were all nice at first than they have been running me all around. Now all of a sudden its out of warrenty. They led me on until it ran out. All of them are a bunch of liars and rip offs. The buggy by the way is fun.
