I made a GoFundMe page to help with the expenses for my new kitty Iris who had a bad trauma to her eye and needed a lot of medical treatment. Along with other donations from friends and family, GoFundMe made a $500 donation! A lovely GoFundMe team member nominated my campaign to receive a donation from GoFundMe as part of their Give Back program. Something I never knew hey done until I made this page. I was very shocked and oh so ever grateful for this generous donation, it has helped me out a lot and means the world to me!
Also along the way I had a few questions so I fired off emails to the GoFundMe team and got very quick and helpful responses! Would definitely recommend this organization for anyone needing to raise money!

I created an account to help my brother when he found out he had cancer. Unfortunately, when I tried to withdraw the money that was in the account. I couldn't submit the documents for my I. D because it wouldn't allow me to upload them.So I decided to close the account and told the donors that the Go Fund Me page would be returning their money because I closed the account. Originally when I had reached out for support I was given a lot of support but it didn't help me. I just want the donors' money to be reimbursed to them. Thank you.

I started a fund for a friend that quickly grew into a large dollar amount. The GoFundMe Community Management Team contacted me on the validity of the fund and concerns about who the beneficiaries of the account were and then they froze the withdrawal of funds on the account. I saw this as protecting the donors and verifying that I was not trying to scam people. This actually impressed me very much that they are monitoring the funds this close to protect good people from scammers. The person I was dealing with was super helpful and understanding of why the beneficiaries had not been set up yet. They had just found out about their son's illness and were dealing with that and I did not want them to have to try to think about this. On another occasion I contacted Customer Service and they were just as helpful. I have never dealt with GoFundMe before this and so far I have been very impressed.

I recently opened a campaign for someone based on a discussion my from local radio station aired. I made the first donation to get things going. I informed the radio station that the GoFundMe campaign is available should the listening audience care to help. I was informed that the matter had been resolved already and the money was not needed. When I contacted GoFundMe support to ask that all money donation get returned without penalty or fees, they quickly responded and did what I had asked. I appreciate the care provided.

I recently used GoFundMe to reach out to people when my brother was about to lose his house. He was suffering with chronic Lyme Disease and hadn't been able to raise the money to pay back taxes. In a very short time people began to donate and we were able to raise enough money to save his house from a sheriff's sale. The funds were available within 2 business days. I am full of gratitude not only to the folks who donated, but to the GoFundMe organization which makes it so easy, through their website, to create and share a campaign for a cause. The results are miraculous!

When I have problems with websites or apps, (such as WhatsApp), the help I have received has been minimal to nill. The GoFundMe team responded and fixed my problems within two days! They are awesome.

Although it took a couple of attempts for the fix, it was all done efficiently and with a virtual 'smile'. I felt like I was interacting with a person that listened and acted quickly to help me.

We have been very happy with the help provided by GoFundMe. At first, we have had some problems to withdraw the money we had raised. After we messaged them, they responded very quickly and guided us through the procedure to make sure we could withdraw the money as soon as possible.
Go Fund Me customer service was more than helpful and provided thorough attention to my needs as a customer. When I had technical trouble their support team was polite and diligent in their pursuit of a final resolution. I couldn't be happier if I tried!
I contacted gofundme to try and get my message spread further and i was told they would send it to whoever is in charge of that department to see if they would help. I'm hoping they do.
