Helping getting it right

While attempting to make a donation for the Cow Palace on behalf of the Santa Cruz Valley Car Nuts I contacted the GoFundMe customer help. The response from the agent Malia was outstanding, prompt, professional, knowledgeable and even "sounded" friendly and concerned in the email.

I was a bit hesitant at first but when I seen all the reviews and how it actually helped people in times of need and struggles. I had to take my chances. When it comes to education it can be costly and having to pay fees for two high school teens at the same time was a burden to come up with the money. I didn't raise the full goal but was able to pay for them to at least get their laptops and pay a few of the other fees. With gofundme I was able to get the help without having to be embarrassed or ask for loans from people. I recommend this to those with real struggles.

GoFundMe rocks!

I started a GFM account to help a Tibetan medical student. Needed to raise a final $300.00 to pay for his last school year. A few people donated immediately but a personal friend donated the whole amount without going through GFM. I contacted GFM to ask them to refund the money to the donors and to close the account. They contacted me immediately and started the process right away with no fuss, no bother.
The person handling my request was extremely helpful and polite. Thank you GFM!

Quick and friendly help

I've never experienced such quick and friendly customer care. I was worried about a error made on a donation and was amazed at getting a response back so quickly. The issue was understood and fixed in less than half an hour. It's been a long time since I've experienced service like that. I was taken back. I started a Go Fund Me campaign for some friends who lost their entire business and livelyhood to arson. Not understanding the difference it made as to which currency the campaign was "filed" under, I ended up having to start a new campaign with a different currency in order for my friends to collect. I had an entire team at Go Fund Me assisting me throughout the transition from one campaign to another, literally around the clock! I have never come across this level of customer service. It truly was/is exemplary and many businesses could learn a lot from the Go Fund Me teams!

I was having trouble navigating the website because I have never used it before. I had major heart surgery and was using it to help pay bills, physical therapy, etc. the representative was extremely helpful and then I was contacted by his/her boss to follow up and make sure I got all my questions answered. Excellent Customer Service

With so many questions and trying to figure everything out, I ended up having to send an email to get information on why things were not working properly. Within 24 hours or less i had a response with detailed directions and explanation of how things worked. I was so Grateful that this was just as important to them as it was to me. Realtime Support of Users

So I set up my first GoFundMe ever, and it has been successful. Nearing $8000 in just a few days. However, one participant uploaded a photo that was confusing to many others. The wife in the family I was trying to raise support for asked that I remove that photo. I could not figure out how to go in and remove it. It was grouped with others in one posting.

So I figured out how to contact GoFundMe tech rep and via email I was able to screen capture the posting and get the needed info to the Tech Rep. The removed that posting with the photo for me (had to remove the entire posting and figured that would be the case). It stopped the confusion.

Friendly and prompt service

I needed at various times support to add a donation offline, to deactivate a campaign, to add a photograph, add a bank account and such. I consulted with several staff members. I always received immediate response, willingness to help and kindness. Very pleased with my experience.

Amazing Support

My experience with Go Fund Me has been absolutely FIVE STAR. What that means for me is the presence of SUPPORT. Not two or three days later but close to immediately. Some of us are a little tech challenged, but no worries, there is a kind, well trained person available for you. Kudos to the marketing team that figured out positive key words like, Happiness, kind closures (not just sincerely) and Team. Thank you for making Go Fund Me a possibility for so many with overwhelming needs beyond their control.
