Go Daddy used to have good customer service. I down graded MS 365 email and they hung me out to dry. Hey Blue Host or NS or HostGater want my business? GD staff lied to me and told me they couldn't help, it wasn't their policy to assist. Hey GD, piss off.
The worst ever company you can deal with, dont think or waste your time before money with such service provider, because they dont have aservice to provide

I've purchased a com.cn domain from godaddy on 29 April
They asked for documents, I provided them, the message read "domain ready at 6 May"
Since then, whenever I logged in I get asked for the same documentation.
When I click to upload again I get an error message and prompt to contact support.
No ticket system!
You have to call them. They put you on hold to research the issue. Takes forever. Sent you an email. You respond and they never follow back. You have to call them again. I have already done this 3 times.
Really gives you the impression that these guys on customer support really don't care about you or your business.
All is said in the title. If you are willing to loose money, you came to the right place. Everything is heavely overpriced, the official reviews you find are either paid for or at least especially cared for. When you are mentioning you are willing to spend money they are all over you, if any problem occurs no one can be reached. It's about time someone sues this company.

I use godaddy as host for my store website as well as domain and for over 2 years there's issues with server platforms, etc. Instead of head office listen to the thousands of customers complaining regarding same or similar issues, they choose to ignore, and service kept getting worse, while price increases, and more marketing campaigns, even though product services are not reliable. My business had suffered in more ways than one because of Godaddy technical issues.
I will not recommend any one to buy Go daddy services as they are very cold with customer service reply. Sorry we can't help you. One the payment is made they would put all the data on a page as given and call it as designed website. Very poor creativity, poor staff and very poor designing website.
First, GoDaddy completed SEO work on my behalf. However, because they failed to gather all of the appropriate information and neglected to inform me of their strategy, their work was in error and nearly useless. When I complained, they stated that they would only help if I purchased additional services. This was clearly stated on numerous occasions. This is extortion.
Now, as I attempt to move my website to WordPress, they have completely taken down my site. On my accounts page, there are several different charges for different features. Now that my site has been completely removed, I am being told that what was described as just an editing tool is really the entire site itself. They refused to return my site for even a short period of time and also refused to refund the charges I just paid.
Their business practices are disgusting at best and maliciously misleading at worst. They have no interest in abiding by information initially provided and only care about the amount of additional dollars they can extract from small business owners.
GoDaddy is really a very poor service provider.

I have used this company extensively over the past few years but yesterday I received a very aggressive letter from their collection agency which is called Certegy Payment Solutions. I called GoDaddy and they confirmed that I do not owe them anything but when I called Certegy the Lady I spoke to was very aggressive and told me that I owe Certegy $168.03 which they, paid to GoDaddy for renewals on my account?! Obviously GoDaddy gave my confidential private information to this collection agency without my authorization so how secure is your data with GoDaddy? The when I call them the only solution offered by GoDaddy was to send an email to their legal dept and to their HQ? So, they can release your information to a third party providing the third party with false information about their customer, me and now Certegy are threatening to wreck my credit over a debt that according to me and, to GoDaddy I do not owe. So buyer beware, GoDaddy is dealing with some very shady entities that out of nowhere can get your private information and then threaten GoDaddy customers with debts that even GoDaddy admits, are not owed? Seems insane!
For anyone who is interested, pls hear me out - I switched from Go Daddy to Wix then back to GD again. I have learned an important lesson, and here it is. GD just wasn't getting me the rankings I wanted so I decided to switch and give Wix a try. I was with Wix for 2 years, and once the website really took off, I climbed to the first page of Google in no time, and was able to maintain an average position of between 6 and 14 at any given time, You have to work on your site alot to keep it fresh but I was happy and the calls just poured in. BUT, Wix went up on price to about $260 a year, so I tried switching back to GD which is about half that price. BUT, I screwed up. GD just does NOT have the platforms and options that Wix has in their editing section, and so far I cannot get my ranking above the 3rd page with an average position of 22-39. No matter how hard I try or how much work I put into this site I can't hit above the 2nd page. GD just does not have the "guts" that Wix does nor the options and features to get you where you wanna be, and it is alot harder to use too. So when my year runs out I will be switching back over to Wix because that extra $120 is well worth it in yearly sales (which means I have to create a whole new site from scratch, but I'm getting pretty good at it anyway). No offense to Go Daddy, but save yourself some trouble and use Wix. You will thank me for it
I just renewed my domains. They have been set not to auto renew from the beginning. I get an email reminder. I have also paid for privacy from the beginning. I accidentally touched the auto renew on one domain which switched it on and then it wouldn't let me switch it back off. When I paid for both, it had switched them both to auto renew. It wouldn't let me switch them off and bounced off the screen before I could even click on it every time I tried.
I tried to get them on live chat on 2 different browsers, but it didn't work, even though it says 24/7, so I had to ring them and wait on hold. When the person finally answered and I told him what happened and asked him to switch the auto renew off, all he did was argue with me that the auto renew was always on because of the privacy, which has not been true for the entire time I have been with them. He told me he'd have to switch off the privacy and refund me for that, which doesn't make sense and which I don't want, and I finally said I wasn't going to argue with him and put the phone down.
I don't want to have my website after my hosting expires next year, and I don't want to have to remember the different dates when the renewals are and get charged and have to hassle with godaddy over it one way or another. That's just one more thing to worry about that I don't need.
Their recording told me that they couldn't wait to exceed my expectations, so I at least didn't expect an argument. My expectation was only that they would switch the auto renewal off and not argue with me about it. I don't think that's too much to ask.

The Economy Hosting Package is an UNsecured site. If you wish to install an SSL certificate, Go Daddy will ask you to pay more. And it's not cheap. If you choose to use Cloudflare, they will point to this as being the cause for the issues you face. Even though its not.
I have had Error524 on my site, making it regularly inaccessible for over six months. The Error clarly states that the issue is with the HOST, but they send you from to pillar to post with 'solutions', to tire you out, and dodge the bullet. The diagnoses from Support are not consistent.
They "guarantee 99.9%" uptime, but this is a lie. The uptime is terrible, and after over six months and countless hours online with their support team, I still have no resolution.
Don't expect a refund, because they won't give you a refund after 30 days.

For $2,500 GoDaddy will design your company website and supposedly make changes periodically throughout the year. They basically took my current web site, which I was wanting to improve upon and they moved pictures around and made it look worse and more difficult to navigate. When I followed up asking for someone to deliver what I was promised, they basically said I was out of luck. They might be a decent hosting company, but don't pay them to do anything beyond that.
They sent an e-mail to me stating that I would have three domains auto-renewing (fee about $45). They then sent an e-mail saying that my chard was charged $700 plus. I called to discuss and was told that they auto-renewed additional sites for multiple years. Two for 9 years. The refused to take any action whatsoever to correct this issue. They advised that they cannot refund on domain renewals. I suggested they credit me on hosting then because this was their error for not advising me first and I have been a loyal customer for over a decade. They refused. I am moving my properties from them. (Oh and just getting to support to be told that they don't care about their customers took over an hour). I am also going to make it a point to ask my clients who does their hosting and advise them of this experience.
Godaddy has auto charged me 323.64 for web site 3 year hosting thru 2024, that I am not even using. It auto renewed, and unfortunately I did not see this within the 30 day time period. I called to discuss and they claim this was manually renewed. It absolutely was not. So I am stuck with this payment. They refuse to issue even 1 -2 year refund. In this time of COVID and business profits down, shame on Godaddy. I am moving everything away from them. They also charge additional $79.00 for ssl certificate. This is outrageous. There are other hosting sites that include this with the hosting and their cost is cheaper than Godaddy. Godaddy does not care about its customers. It cares about pure profit. Supervisors have no authority to do anything. You are wasting time talking to them. Godaddy should do the right thing and refund at least 2 years worth of charges.
Go daddy is a good service in terms of hosting. Most of the time u cannot find your desired domain. But overall i am satisfied with their services. 8/10.
