Do Not go with this service- I feel as though I was lied to a pressured to sign a two year contract that includes a 199 cancelation fee. They have this automatic scheduling system which is awful, I am being charged over $150 everytime someone comes to spray for 10 minutes, had to call twice now for respray and always have to cancel appointment and call to reschedule because I want to be here when they come.

I've already had a problem with this company before (the salesman said he was including mosquito control with our package and did not include it). We signed up for pest control with Aptive in June 2021. We signed a contract that said we would make 4 payments of $125 in: July 2021, October 2021, Jan 2022, & April 2022. We have been charged $135 in June 2021, $135 in September, $135 in October, and the company is saying we owe them another $135 for November. I called Aptive to inquire and they let me know that they upgraded our account, WITHOUT ASKING, and started CHARGING OUR ACCOUNT MONTHLY (FRAUD).
This is the second time that Aptive has been dishonest. What's worse is they used the credit card we have on file WITHOUT ASKING US. I've never interacted with such a slimy, dishonest, fraudulent company. Please save yourself the headache... RUN!

I signed a one year service for this company. Paying $115 for each of the 4 treatment appointments. I didn't see any change at all, and dissatisfied with the service. Tried to close the account but will charge me the discount promo (as they said) of $199 if I cancel. Horrible. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

High Cancellation Fee!

Specifically asked the sales person before i agreed to the service, i was told there is no cancellation fee after the first three sprays. Went with the service, after 4 sprays was not happy with the service. I would do my own pest control and only sprayed 2 to 3 times a year. They came 4 times in 4 months and was not effective. I purchase chemicals from a local bug store and only pay $100 and lasts me a year. This company is a ripoff.

Dangerous Drivers
November 9, 2021

Last month while driving through Clarksville, TN, this aptive van was in the left lane, well under the speed limit while using his phone. Ten minutes later he was tailgating at excessive speeds. Two weeks later, this aptive truck in Kingston, TN was driving well over the speed limit tailgating and weaving in and out of traffic to get ahead of drivers. These are not good ways to represent your company. These were two different drivers.

Pushy salesman shows up at my door in June. They did the initial treatment which did nothing to control the bugs. We ended up doing our own pest control over the summer and fall. 2nd call I get is in November saying they were coming to do the next treatment. Tried to cancel the contract but they said it would be 200 to cancel. Spraying for bugs in Nov when they are either dead, hibernating or have already moved indoors makes no sense to me. This company is a scam and do not use their service. Their pest control does not work and its expensive.

I am the HOA president of The Village of Bent Creek townhomes community in Charlotte, NC.
This company Aptive, is violating the original agreement from Case# *******, I originally submitted to the BBB on 10/8/2021, of not soliciting on a private community property.

The company came on 11/12/2022 and again today 1/14/2023. Again violating the signs that we have posted through our community of no soliciting.

I would like to press charges against this company if they do not comply and stay away from The Village of Bent Creek townhomes community.

Dealing with aptive
September 15, 2021

A representative came to my house on 6/29/2021 her fell through my drop ceiling and puled it down twisting the support and breaking tiles. I was told someone would come to fix it. I is now 9/15/2021 and it has yet to be resolved. Trying to get someone to answer the phone is a joke. Do not use this company!

Carlesha was Great

Charles ha was a dynamite technician! She provided a courtesy text to let me know she was about 20 minutes away which was great! When she arrived she told me what she had planned and asked me if I needed any service in the garage, which I did not. She was professional, personable, thoroughly explained the process for the day and we also had a fun conversation! I would recommend Carlesha get a bonus for her wonderful service! Haha. Thank you for sending her! I had a wonderful experience.

I went and looked at the reviews and they do the same thing they come in and do the service they offer it does not work you say i want my money back
They say you signed a contract and their fee to let you out of the contract is 200 bucks their service is crap it killed a couple of ants in my driveway but
The 3 wasp nest in plain sight were still alive and well i got stung my wife got stung my dog got stung then they said well we will be out there in a week in a half
Their is a lot more Oh and when i tell them i m not paying they said we will just turn it over for collections
They did not do there job but now their going to turn it over to collections read the reviews companies like this need to be stoped read the reviews and don't do business with this company

We scheduled Aptive to come out Saturday morning but I received a computer generated email saying they were coming between 4pm and 6pm. I called Audrey from the main office and she confirmed that unfortunately they had to change the time so we made sure we were home Saturday afternoon waiting for them. I call them back just after 6pm as they didn't show up and the lady I spoke to said there was no service scheduled for us? They had our business, we agreed to sign up for the year but they messed us around.

I was finished with my year commitment but when I needed to stop service I have gotten the run around! They keep trying to fraudulently give me appointments and charge my account. They are saying I need to talk to manager personally but one is never available! Warning to the buyer! Beware!

The sales guy offers $99 at your door for spraying the house and indeed they do it one time around. They anly allow credit card payment. But then they send a contract that obliges you for 12 months and 4 treatments at $120. Not cancellable. The cancel document has invalid language that is a joke. They send it to my email that I have not given to them and attach a document that I signed electronically even if I did not. Complete scam and forgery of signature.

Not what they say

The salesman explained how they would treat my house and when the treatment guy shows up he tells me that they are instructed to not do what the salesman told me. The treatment was no better tha anything that you would do yourself. I wouldn't give them one star, but that's all that they have, maybe *-.

Problem got WORSE

We had ant problem at home. But, it was not that bad. We saw it here and there sometimes. So, we called for Aptive. After they did outside home treatment, it got even worse. All ants escaped to my house. It was 1000 times higher than what we had at home. Then, we got inside home service. It did not solve the problem at all. Ohh also, we had to pay for the services we did not get. They charge you automatically.

Aptive sets up quarterly pest control servicing but also on demand servicing as well. Today we had a quarterly service by our usual Service Pro Miles Duffey. He is always happy to answer all questions and concerns we have about the service and pet protection. I hope that all Aptive personnel are as attentive and efficient as Miles Duffey, I am glad we have him since the bugs and creatures that would try to invade are home are no where to he found.
Eliminating pest and bugs is south Texas is definitely difficult, but Aptive and their service pros do it in an efficient and environmentally friendly manner. Great work guys!

Deceitful COMPANY

On September 02,2020 the Aptive sales person knocked to all my neighbors and also my door and they said a special offer for our neighbors and if I was not satisfied the service, I can cancel within a month, so I accepted their offer and signed it.
But after the service, the bugs were not eliminated and ants came inside more, so I called them for this problem because the sales man said if bugs are still found, they will come back any time for the follow up, so they came again and look around my house and finished the service, but I still found bugs and decide to cancel. But the customer service never answered the phones and I had to waste too much time for waiting (almost calling every day for a week), finally somebody picked my phone and I complained the customer services and I wanted to cancel. He said he was the manager of Aptive and apologized to me about that reason and accepted my cancellation and there were no more payment and closed my accounts.
BUT AFTER 2 MONTH LATER THEY SENT ME $200 BILLING, they called me and said I cancelled not within a month and they charged me all followed services. I explained the manager said there were no more charge during my cancel, but the company said there were no mention in my account. They said if I don't pay, the next step is from the collecting company. I never ever met like this kind of terrible company. For treating some spots for a month, they sent a bill $200!
