Don't sign a contract with them

I signed a contract with them for 18 months, be careful contract includes a 199 $ early termination fee; I think this is how they make their money; they depend on tricking people with false statements, and then you will cancel as you won't be satisfied with their service, and then they charge you the 199 $ regardless what is your reason to cancel, I don want people to be tricked like what happened with me. The guy who came promised that they would do the inside of the house, and this is why I signed. Each time they came, they never even knocked on the door or texted me to let me open the door, I called and complained 2 times, they promised on a recorded line that if they didn't do inside next time, then they would cancel the contract and won't charge me early termination fees, so I gave them another chance, and they still came and never knocked the door or texted me and they never added to me acct a note that indoor to be done each time, so I had to pay extra service which I didn't need outside and early termination fees, called cust service and ask them to review their recorded line on their promises and they ignored that and they still charged me 199 early termination fees

Not only do they solicit at your door for as long as 30 minutes, they lie to your face about the contract you are signing up for. They also will continue to steal your money out of your bank after they tell you in person that the contract is canceled after you try to cancel it. I haven't even received their half-assed treatment in two months but they are still continuing to charge me.
They also ignore your calls when you try to speak to someone in their office. Not only is the customer service is garbage, it's non existent. Stay away from this vile money hungry company.

Worse now, than before

Bug guy comes and makes promises to kill mosquitoes, gnats, and spiders. They get you to sign a bull contract, they spray sugar water, and the issues get worse.
Now every time I mow the lawn, the gnats attack, the mosquitoes are all silver dollar size now, and the spiders are worse than ever. I even had a Black Widow inside my house. Customer service is a joke. I told them to stick their contract.

Aptive lure you with initial agreement for 1 year contract. After 1 year Without telling put you in month to month and keep charging your account without your information an service. Sign there contract very carefully. It's not easy to close account as they push you to call them.

Wish can give 1/4th star. Never trust the sales team. They bind you to contract, not cancellable. No documentation to read. You will suddenly find a chunk charged to your payment account without and notice. Worse service.

I've been with aptive for over a year they usually call or text before showing up to the house and after a couple of visits they started sending out technicians with out them calling or a text. My last visits were on April 2022 6th and 9th and the proof they sent me are of the technicians in front of my house on the road that's not proof. They send them out when they want without notice and they don't do their jobs. Now aptive have sent my bill for $100 to collections and this was After speaking to them about it a few weeks ago and being told that my account was closed and having no bill.

It's been a time-consuming and frustrating experience. While the actual service is ok, the logistics behind each appointment and the customer service is just plain terrible. Everyone is polite, however they seem to have multiple teams that do not coordinate with each other and tell you different things. 4 visits in and I have dozens of emails and texts with all the back and forth. You are bound by contract to a year but they can raise the prices on you. I wanted to end the relationship after the second service out of logistical frustration and I had to stay or pay $199 from the initial treatment discount. Last time I was told it was the last (it's been over a year), however they are now attempting to charge me the cancellation fee despite the fact I confirmed it with them last time. So now I am wasting just more time dealing with customer service. If you value your time, run away, because they certainly do not.

I signed up for Aptive in 2020.
After finally getting a tech that spent more than 10 minutes at my home for a treatment, I attempted to call the customer service representative that had sent a recent email. After several calls, texts and emails, I received a reply that she could call me at 12 noon.
I was scheduled to be in a meeting so I replied that I would not be available at 12, but would be available at 1 pm.

No reply.
Nothing for weeks.

I requested a retreat and wanted the last tech to return.

Nope. Can't get him.

Also can't get a supervisor.

Customer service representative said she would request a call from a supervisor.

Never happened.

I called back later that day and got a polite man in Ohio.

He tried to undo the damage.

Next day, the account representative called me.

I called her out for not following up and requested a call from a manager.
She said she would request the call from her area manager but could not guarantee a call back.

When I asked for the area managers name I was told she couldn't give out any information.

After my free retreat, I am done with these folks, except leaving bad reviews which I will continue to do.

1ST YEAR HAD GOOD SERVICE TECH PERFORMED DUTIES NO ISSUES 12 MONTH CONTRACT EXPIRED EARLY I ASK NOT TO CONTINUE SERVICE THEY STILL SCHEDULED AND AN SENT MESSAGES ON PHONE ARRIVED TO SERVICE ADVISED DUMB TECH DO NOT SERVICE CALLED OFFICE ADVISED THEM NO SERVICE WANTED 8/11/22 THEY CAME 2ND TIME NO ONE HOME LEFT SIGN IN YARD CALLED MANAGEMENT VERY PERSISTANT TOOK 124.00 FROM MY BANK SAID WOULD PUY IN FOR REFUND 6-14 WEEKS BE CAREFUL WITH THIS FIRM

Aptive is a fraud pest control company. They lured you in to take the service and sign 12 month contract. Their products are ineffective and they don't respond to your complaints. They silently come and do the service and charge you without you knowing. And charge you $199 for cancellation

Great Service in Fayetteville NC

The sales person was very transparent and friendly. I knew exactly what I was signing up for. I don't usually entertain door to door sales, but it sounded like a good deal, which it was.

My first appointment was scheduled and the technician texted me before coming out. We discussed my needs.

I chose Aptive because I feed some feral cats (all spayed and neutered lol) and I needed animal friendly options when it comes to pesticides. They insured me that everything was safe. They also removed a wasp nest free of charge!

The follow up email was extremely helpful. It showed all the pesticides that were used. The technician also left a detailed comment on what was done.

I had a minor issue after the first visit and called customer service. The agent who answered was very sweet and accommodating. She sent out another technician free of charge to check on my yard. He again texted me before arriving and was extremely helpful and also made sure to make a note on my account, so future techs would just use the regular treatment.

I have seen far less ants, because that was my biggest issue. They would always invade the cat feeding stations.

Overall, I am extremely pleased and happy with the service and with all the wonderful employees! I would definitely recommend this service!

Some kid came to my house wearing an Aptive cap and shirt. I went to Aptive's website and didn't even see Delaware listed as a area service. This kid was rude. I immediately told him through the door I wasn't interested. He said you don't even know what I'm here for. I told him I didn't care. He then proceeded to tell me he was offering pest control services and actually pointed to an area on my porch and told me it "looks like $#*!". Yes, that's the wording he used. And maybe it does since I have surveillance cameras and lighting there which brings spiders and spiders catch bugs - but I don't care. Nobody who visits my house will ever get a sale out of me. I told him he was a credit to his organization (for his rudeness) and when he got back on his scooter or whatever the heck it was he looked back at me and gave me this wise $#*! look. This encounter alone would make me NEVER do business with this organization and I'll be sure to let our homeowners association know the type of trash we have parading through our neighborhood, as well as anybody I know.

Wonyia was driving down my street, I asked him for a minute and requested he remove the cob webs from my home. He was more than happy to help me and he did a great job. I really appreciate this extra effort from a representative of Aptive! The alternative would be to call Aptive, what for an open appointment and have them come by in the next week. He made it super simple for me:-)

Did not use this service

They were out 3 times in 6 weeks. Still have ants. Have to call and wait for service then stay home and wait for the technician. Last technician sprayed me with the poison as she did not realize it was on when I answered the door. I called to cancel my contract with no cancel fee and got an attitude. Do not use them. I am waiting for a call from a higher up manager.

This pushy sales man came to my door to sell me this bogus service. They named dropped my neighbors' to try to get me to trust them. I knew my neighbors don't use them as I've asked many times in the past. So they lied. "So & so next door uses us so I can get you a discount when we come spray at their house". Yea it's all BS. Anyway, he kept trying to get me to give him my information to lock me in a contract. He even asked for my credit card information to save in my file so that when I was "ready to buy" all my info was already in the system. Heck no man I'm not just gonna give you my credit card. This guy is whack. They obviously invest in their training because these guys don't take no for an answer & kept on with rebuttal after rebuttal. SMH. I will never use these guys.

A technician claims that he came out for a service call, but I have four cameras watching my home and there was no one here at all. They charged me for a service call that they never did. Then after calling them to discuss the situation they said they would remove the charge, they did not. Very unhappy with the service, and don't appreciate being lied to about the fees.

Scam

Was very skeptical initially and rightfully so. Have done services for us for several months and have seen zero percent decrease in pests around the house. Also, they put us into a contract that we did not agree to. Technicians are always lazy and are done in less than five minutes. They fail to actually get rid of nests, spider webs, etc. as they advertise. Absolutely do not recommend. If they show up to your door, turn them away.

THIS COMPANY IS HORRIBLE. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. If you are looking for any kind of pest control RUN from this company. I contacted them because a rat problem that we had after we purchased our new house. They came and said that the first visit was free. When the guy came to my house he did not have the equipment needed to handle the rat issue. He told us that he would have to come back. That same tech did not come though, a different one did, and then tried to charge me because he came out, and for the equipment. I explained that that was not what was explained to me, and even though he did come the first time he did not do anything except put 3 sticky traps out in the open in the backyard, which I had to move because our dog's paw got stuck to it. I explained that he did not finish his job the first time, so why I am paying for the 2nd visit? The tech was very nice but the manager was horrible and never even contacted me back when I reached out, as well as the tech himself. They didn't leave anything to help with our rat problem and we went to Walmart and tried to do it ourselves. They then tried to come on some random date and contacted me saying they were coming. He was informed that I didn't want ay service from them and that we were not even in the country. He came on out property anyway and then charged us for it. Due to horrible service and my complaints they cancelled my service, but still tried to charge me for their employee's trespassing on private property. I been in contact with them 5 times, and NO ONE as contacted me back. To top it off my credit has been affected, because while trying to handle this the charge was sent to collections. I will be contacting the better business bureau. THIS COMPANY IS THE WORST!
