Don't shop here or any gm website unless it's the official gmc website unless you want to be robbed. Ordered a pair of leaf springs for my 2011 gmc after shipping and tax it came out to around $550. Order number was never sent. Won't answer your calls or emails. The parts never came and they triple charged my account over $1600. Absolute crooks.
Ordered wheel studs 10 days ago have been trying to get a tracking number for my order. I have called several times emailed them 4 or 5 times with no response. Sent a email to cancel order and still no reply. Very shadey I wouldn't recommend ordering from them.
I placed an order on 6/28/2022. As of today 8/8/2022 the order is still listed as "in progress" for items that were all listed as "in stock" on the website. I emailed, sent in a support ticket, and called with no answer. I left a voicemail that has not been returned. I have no way to cancel the order on the website. I had to go with another vendor to get the parts I needed. Terrible customer service.
The worst customer service I have ever seen, actually there is no customer service. I think this is a kid running a website out of his basement. Haven't spoke or received a return email from anyone in over 2 weeks. I have a truck bed cover damaged in shipping and they won't return calls or email. SCAM!
Don't waste your money like I did, not sure how they stay in business. If I would have done some research they would not have gotten my money. My fault for not doing my research!
Do yourself a favor STAY AWAY!
My car has been out of commission for over a month because they have shipped two drive shafts that arrived broken. The first was packaged terribly and got completely destroyed during shipping. The second was packaged better but was damaged as well. They refuse to help me beyond the normal RMA process. If a decent company had caused this many problems, they would actually try to help fix it.
Jordan Anderson support, by far and I mean by far worst customer service, and also there company.
They dont have any phone numbers or leads to a manager available on the site obviously on purpose, so we cant reach them when they scam clients.
I would give a negative 10 if I could on here. Next up is my credit card dispute with them.
Stay away, it is a scam, they won't answer your emails, they won't ship whatever you buy from them, just stay away.
I placed an order which was canceled shortly after they charged my card and submitted confirmation number claiming that their algorithm flagged a suspect IP address. This is nonsense! Why didn't it flag the the order before I submitted? I believe they didn't want to honor the price for the part.
Gave VIN for 2022 Bolt ordered fender skirt, gave credit card. No tracking # sent & fender skirt was NOT SHIPPED, hello JASON PENROD@ GMPARTS, send my skirt or give a refund!
I thought this would be a legit site to order from… wrong. I ordered a light up emblem. Part did come in after a while but then stoped working because of faulty seal. No problem with a year warranty right? Wrong again. There is no customer service! I always get an answering machine and when I sent emails I only received what seemed to be auto generated emails. Looks like I just lost 300 bucks. Will never purchase here again. And will do everything in my power to get the word out so they cant screw anyone else over.
So stupefyingly hideous is the Gmpartsdirect.com experience, you'll need to bathe in 10 gallons of disinfectant, get a full-body scrub and shampoo with vinegar to remove the scummy residue that remains after buying a part from Gmpartsdirect.com experience. It is a scam.
Purchased a bolt from Gmpartsdirect.com. Single bolt. Was charged - ready? - $2 for the bolt and $20 "shipping." For a 2-ounce, 1-1/2" piece of metal that would fit in a normal #10 business envelope.
Anyway, Gmpartsdirect.com sent the wrong bolt - say by a mile. Not even close.
Thus, the ambush began.
After several e-mails, back and forth, Gmpartsdirect.com, without ever admitting error, finally agreed to accept return of the wrong item. BUT, for the first time, Gmpartsdirect.com revealed that it does not refund shipping charges – even if it shipped the wrong part. Their mistake. You pay.
Wait. Wait. There's still some chicken on that bone. Even if Gmpartsdirect.com ships the wrong item, it charges the customer a "restocking fee" IF it agrees to a return. Yep. Their "mistake." You pay. You eat the artificially bloated "shipping" charge AND a mysterious "restocking" fee. Gmpartsdirect.com is coldly efficient for what it is. But what it is - is a scam. Full stop.
Ordered a part for my Chevy van from this company. Paid $206.00 for it. Chose standard shipping having ordered many times with many companies and have always received thise in a reasonable amount of time. Tracked my package. It took 8 days to go from Parts Direct in N. C. to Minnesota. It took over two weeks total to get my part. When it finally arrived, it was the wrong part. Tried calling Parts Direct a dozen times. They "Do Not" answer their phones, period After a long time ringing you get a message from the "Internet Dept.", to leave a message. I left many messages explaing my need to return the part in exchange for the " correct" part. Sent them emails. They have not ever returned my calls or responded in any way.
If you want to through your money away, this is the perfect company to do it with. Once they get your money you no longer exist. If you think i exaggerate call their number *******046) and see for your self. Also there are other websites with slightly different names that I suspect are the same company. Don't order parts from companies that won't take your calls or the same thing will happen to you.
Purchased a simple set of O rings, but realized I did ordered the incorrect items. No problem, right? I contacted them via email requesting to cancel and was told I would pay a 35% cancellation fee. Okay, seems high, but it was a cheap part. I said I want to go forward with cancelling. They replied telling me that they would send a form over, but nothing happened after that. A few days later they shipped anyway. Great, now I have a part I don't need and I'm certain if I returned it, I would pay some exorbitant restock fee plus the shipping both ways. GMPartsDirect, you have lost me as a future customer over your unwillingness to be fair for your own gain. There are too many options out there to put up with this.
Very crooked... horrible shipping times. When you don't get your part after a week and it hasn't even shipped yet be prepared to pay 35% restocking fee to cancel the order.
For the life of me I will never figure out how companies can put the blame on customers and think it is fine. I ordered parts, 1 Part out of stock and NO ETA, They emailed me to let me know and I responded to credit my account then and ship the rest of the products. They charged the full amount for the entire order, never responded to return my funds for the item they could not get. All I got was arguments going back with emails to their CUSTOMER SERVICE people, And I use this phrase extremely loosely, then they tell me I never had an order, then I get an email saying they told me there was a 3-5 day delay (Which I never received). So I guess one person says I never had and order and the others say I did but they there was never an issue with getting the part to me? It seems to me that this outfit does not have their stuff together. I was Harassed on emails for a while and finally told them they better cool it with their "Cover your rear end" policy. That does not fly with me and I am sure not with many others. I write lots of very positive reviews usually, But very few Bad one's. I try to give the benefit of the doubt but this company is a JOKE!
So Ordered June 16th today is the 21st, No Parts, NO Order? I had my Credit Card company Dispute any charges, They sure do not know what to do, And here we are.
Canceled an order before shipment and they kept nearly half my money with no explanation nor response. Don't order from this site.
Never ever buy anything from this people, they fool you around, one of the worst experiences buying on line.
BUYER BEWARE! So I needed a part for my Corvette and the local shops didn't carry it. So I went online and I thought we found it although a bit more expensive but I had no choice, showed that it was "in stock" but it still took several weeks to get it. Unfortunately, it was the wrong part but we didn't know because there weren't any illustrations or site diagrams on the part we needed (drivetrain related). Once we got it and opened the box we quickly realized it was wrong so we needed to return it. Submitted a return request and it took a few weeks to get that approved. They initially weren't going to refund the core until I made mention of it and then Kris Griffin replied and said they would adjust the AR to reflect the core and send me a return slip for the part. The email literally mentioned the entire initial amount but said I wouldn't be able to recoup the shipping charges which was fine with me, but never mentioned that I would be charged any restocking fee at all. Once the return was completed and processed that was when I was told there was a restocking fee. If you go look at their return policy it also doesn't make any reference to a 35% restocking fee either so I never thought that was going to be an issue at all but boy was I wrong! I own a few businesses so I understand the restocking fee but it's usually only 10% - 20% at max and it's always disclosed upfront! This wasn't the case in this situation. Never again will deal with them and I encourage everyone else to do the same!
I was sent an incorrect part, and followed up with someone who asked me to verify, so I sent pictures showing incorrect item with sku number. Now nobody will respond to emails or calls. Terrible!
Lots of information online. If you need someone to provide information that you can't find on their website, forget it. No one answers the online sales phone or emails. The parts guys at Flow Automotive won't help and will direct you to the online department that doesn't return calls.
Answer: The price, what a big mistake I made, real bad expirence.
Answer: Impossible. Tried emailing and calling and nobody ever responds
