Terrible shipping service. Promises 1 day but takes 2. Tracking info is less detailed than UPS, Fedex, USPS. Unreliable and not worth the money. Avoid at all costs.
I think this has to be the WORST shipping company ive ever experienced. First, they dont provide a time frame so you dont know when to be home in order to sign. Second, they are always delayed so if they give you an est delivery date dont be surprised if it shows up a week later. Third, you would have an easier time getting a hold of the president before you get a hold of an agent to speak to. They are un responsive and unprofessional. I feel bad for all the companies that use GSl as their way of sending packages out.
Every time my package looks terrible if I even get one. Saw with my own eyes delivery man dropping boxes and doesn't even care.
Servizio schifosissimo, nn so se dormono o cosa fanno, ma quando un corriere deve mentire per mancata consegna, o nn aveva voglia o chi sa se sono tutti al gardaland che giocano, è grave! Putroppo questi nn hanno capito come gira il mondo. E in piû sono adesso da 2 settimane che aspetto la consegna.

Didn't deliver my package on time saying they couldn't enter the apartment. This never happened before. After my 7th attempt to contact their customer service they asked for the gate code. I wonder what was their plan to deliver my package if I didn't succeed contacting them. Do yourself a favor and never have any business with them
Delivered my package after saying the would hold for pick up at an address that was not mine.

Still waiting for my package that is 40 miles away. They literally lied and said the road was closed…TWICE. I even contacted the dispatch and told them it was a lie and gave my number for issues. Still no delivery. I have never heard of this company before this experience, and I never wanna hear about them again. I only gave a 1 rating since it wouldn't let me do a ZERO. Joke of a company

Extremely poor service (GLS Hungary)/ customer service.
They were not able to deliver my package to the pick up point (where i originally ordered it) then I was informed that the wrapping got damaged. Due to these issues they said they must hand over the box by home delivery, in person. As I have limited availability I asked for a delivery at a specific timeframe -their customer service representative said it is not possible and they cannot make exception, I have to be available all day on the agreed date. As it is not my fault that they damaged the package and also that they couldnt deliver by the primary method I find this response from the customer service unacceptable.
I needed to send the package from Slovakia to Italy. Because of the public holidays in slovakia I was very nervous if the package arrives on time. Using the tracking I could see that the package arrived really the lowest level delivery time within EU 3 zones as declared. From my point of view - very good job.
Driver mis-delivered my parcel even though my eircode was on the parcel in several places. Then forged my initials on the receiving docket. He could not be reached by customer service who said they'd leave a note for him to see when he picked up his load this morning. I was then instructed by GLS customer service to wait 3 business days before filing a claim (even though they already knew the parcel had gone missing). To add insult to injury, my parcel magically appeared on my outer wall this morning. Rather than walk the 20ft to put it under cover by the front door. Pure laziness. Instead it got drenched in the pouring rain. Luckily the shipper had double bagged everything inside. The shipper emailed me today to see if I'd received the parcel as GLS notified them. I haven't heard anything back from GLS to confirm or discern if I received the parcel. Very poor service and customer service in my opinion. Avoid using if at all possible.
We ordered twice a couch from a company working with GLS delivery service. First time we ordered, the couch was sent back because apparently they did find nobody home. However we had no clue when the delivery would take place and never received any phonecard. The numbers of the trace and tracking app are not being recognised as we call. No one is responding on messages left with their client service. Communication 0. We are going to cancel now, as 1 month and with second delivery, we have no clue where our couch is!
Drivers are incompetent - They can't read addresses or follow instructions. Customer Service is incompetent - They don't answer phones, chat or email.
If you want your business to fail, use this company.
Along with completely ignoring the delivery time change request, these imbeciles delivered to an address in the dead middle of the night to a house that was undergoing a termite treatment...like hello? There's clearly no one there to get the package you idiots why would you even bother? They also just threw it right next to the trashcans which was a fun touch.
This is the absolute worst company.
They have people who answer phones who have NO IDEA what's going on and can't actually do anything to help you.
I have a package I tracked that read -
"The parcel could not be delivered as further address information is needed"
There was no info on how to contact them to confirm my address so I searched and found a number. They couldn't do anything at all.
Now for the last week it updates every couple of days and keeps saying -
"The parcel is stored in the parcel center"
But when I call they can't access it or do anything.

They're complete idiots.
It's cool to have review sites but when will government action be taken? GLS lies, has virtually no customer service presence, and packages seem to only make it as far as their hubs. I'm not sure if they're thieves, lazy, underground drug lords or what but this burin was is starting to seem more like a cover up for something else rather than an actual shipping company. It seems if the workers like your purchase enough, they'll just keep it for themselves and mark it as lost with no attempt to deliver. When you do get in contact with customer service, they try their best not to give you a manager or any alternatives. They also ramble on and give you a tone of different, unequivocal information. This is such a scam it's crazy. There's also no BBB presence for this company which is also shady. I've read that they hire family members who aren't made to do their jobs properly either, again leading me to think this "shipping" company is just a cover up for something else. I'm so angry right now. Unfortunately the people I've purchased from continue to use this bogus company and they keep having to give me refunds. 2 parties losing because of GLS, who is never held responsible for their CRIMES.
Over promise delivery date and kept under delivering literally! Every day an update for another day that I would be delivered and they didn't
Medical supplies due to be delivered. Repeatedly told they can't get into security gate to apartment. We live in duplex with no security gate of any kind.
Answer: Minimum 20 minute wait time via online or by phone. Longest time I waited was 3 hours and still no one picked up
Answer: GLS is the worst logistics company I have dealt with in my 47 years life
