I bought prescription Raybans. I had gone to to a Rayban supplier to try them on so I had an idea of what they would look like. I just received my glasses. Omgggg! They sent me $5 sunglasses and my prescription lenses so I can put them on (I don't know how to do this) and they were dirty with fingerprints on them. Also the box is not new. It's a used box. The most disappointment is they are not REAL RAYBANS. I Can tell these sunglasses are cheap quality and don't have the logo on them what's so ever. So basically I paid $190 dollars for lenses with a fake Rayban logo printed on the lenses. I'm so beyond upset! Do not buy from them unless they r none brand.
Background: i ordered a prescription sunglasses from GlassesUSA. The lens for the left eye was defective, so i returned them per their instructions for a replacement.
Problem: They never sent me the replacement, and their online status shows the return was not delivered.
My attempts to resolve: i provided the usps delivery confirmation, also called them multiple times, and did their online chat process to inquire. Their response is that someone from the 'returns team' will contact me, however i never hear from them.
3/21/23-order placed & confirmed
4/7/23-order received to my residence
4/8/23-notified them via chat saying order had defective lens
4/10/23-i then shipped order back
4/13/23-order delivered per confirmation usps
4/14/23-their order status says they didn't receive it, opened chat which says they are working on it
4/21/23-their order status says they didn't receive it, opened chat which says they are working on it
5/2/23-email from them for prescription info, which they already had

I bought a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses years ago. Everything was perfect. The glasses were prescription and the whole process was smooth. Over a month ago I ordered another pair of prescription glasses. I wasn't happy with them so I communicated with glassesusa and they sent me a link for my free return. I decided I wanted store credit. Well I haven't heard from them since. No correspondence that they received the glasses. No store credit. No refund. I've tried calling but I've never spoken to a real person. I did the live chat and they sent me a link. I clicked on the link and it said my case was completed. It also said my glasses weren't eligible to be returned. Through the entire purchasing process it was advertised they advertised free returns and now suddenly I can't return these glasses. So I emailed glassesusa. Automated response said they'd be in touch with 2 to 3 business days. After 4 business days and no response from glassesusa I emailed them again. It has been 3 days since that email went out and no response. At this point I will only accept a full refund! Not very happy in Pennsylvania

Do not buy anything from this company!They are scams, really horrible experience with them!I brought a pair of Glasses from GlassesUSA online last year, And recently been broken, so I contacted them as warranty claim, they reached me back after 5days, and saying they will exchange a new pair of same glasses for me since it is still in warranty and they only start to craft the new pair after they get the broken one received. However, After I sending it back and they told me it's gonna be 50% of the broken glasses store credit! I called million times, their customer service agent are very unprofessional and not listen to you! I told them the agreement is about exchange, not the store credit! But they never care. Basically they are force me to sell my not even one year old glasses in half price. They scam customer to ship the thing back and force customer to accept their deal! So horrible! Then I told them I will not accept the 50% store credit, just sent my old one back, they said NO, it's been disposed already! OMG! They disposed my glasses when the claim not close!
They force Customer to accept their $#*!ty deal!
So, think about this case before you buy anything from here! Probably get nothing back after you spend you money here.

Very interactive site, but difficult to actually talk to someone. When I ordered my glasses from GLASSESUSA I asked (several times) to speak with someone about my PD, since it wasn't included in the original request. No One ever called me. They sent the glasses with lenses that didn't match the prescription (which was correct for my eyes). They seem to have good prices but not worth using this service as it is a hassle when you have to return the glasses.

Ordered sunglasses (extra $89), received proper prescription though they were not sunglasses.
Attempts for a phone call was difficult if not impossible, though texting was possible.
Even sending them a image of glasses did not persuade them to send a proper pair even though I had waited several weeks for the wrong pair. The only option offered was send them back and they will begin the process of making a new pair. I decided to send them back for a refund and not use them again.
I expected more from them.
BTW...I did receive my credit to my credit card.

I ordered 2 pair of glasses. One pair of reading glasses, one pair of sunglasses for golf. They are the magnetic kind that wraps around your head with a magnet between the lenses. Received the reading glasses 1st. No case, no cleaning cloth. Wore for about 2 wks. They broke where the rubber meets the side bar. Spent a couple hours between phone calls and emails and finally got them replaced. In the meantime I received the sunglasses. This time with a case and cleaning cloth. I set them aside for the upcoming golf season. Just started wearing them and they broke just like the other pair in the exact same place. Again spent a couple hours with customer service chat and emails. They will not replace them. They will only offer for me to purchase ANOTHER PAIR AT FULL PRICE and an expensive warranty in case it happens again. Very poor customer service. Terrible product. I do not recommend this company or their products at all.
I've ordered by glasses 14 days ago and it still says in production. I've called and it kept saying to checking my status online. It freaking says the same thing "order will be expedite 6-8 days". The live chats is a joke and you can't talk with the live customer service. This is my first order and probably my last. What's happening with this company?

Most reviews seem to be done when ordering. Yes, ordering is easy. The rest, not so much. I ordered. That was easy and good. As soon as I ordered I was inundated with text messages about sales. I asked to STOP multiple times but it didn't, so I blocked the number. Ok, that problem solved. I chose expedited shipping because I was going out of town and wanted the glasses soon. Now, I never pay expedited shipping. In 2023 how much faster could shipping be?
Well, let me tell you, $10 expedited shipping gets you standards lower than just putting a few stamps and dropping it in a USPS post box. It has been a week. No glasses. A week - expedited. Now, yesterday I received multiple texts and emails to say my glasses shipped. Huh? I've been tracking for a week and they were supposed to be here tomorrow. In fact they have supposedly been in my city for 4 days. Now, I track again. They are in another state over 500 miles away. Yeah.
The website proclaims you can talk to customer service 7 days a week. Try emailing them. That's not happening. Try chatting them? Yeah, joke. Try calling them? They refer you to their oh so unhelpful chat bot.
I should also mention they say the production of glasses takes 3 days but it was 10. So, yeah. Now I'm on my way out of town with no glasses. If this is expedited, I'm not really sure what on earth non-expedited would be. Perhaps they strap your lenses to some ants and hope for the best?
I'm not a reviewer of places. I'm not very demanding. But, yeah, STAY AWAY.

Submitted information and prescription and these morons did everything they could to not send me lenses. Asked for the eye doctors name and fax number, which I sent. Then asked for it again so I followed up with a screen shot of the ACTUAL PRESCRIPTION. They still denied having the information. Avoid these clowns! They're full of crap!

They do not update you about your order and when you ask they just say the same thing over and over again like a script. It takes 3-5 business days to make your glasses. It's been 7 business days and I paid extra for faster shipping. Do not use if you need new glasses in a week. Prepare for 2-3 weeks

I bought glasses that I needed to return due to problem with prescription. The glasses arrived at the facility 4 days after I sent them back. Almost 2 months after they received at the facility and I still do not have my new pair of glasses. Sent multiple emails to different customer service representatives and they assured me it was a top priority multiple times. The original set of glasses did not take long to ship, not sure why the return process is taking so long. Would recommend attempting to request a refund instead of exchange if problem with glasses. The date today is May 4 2023.

I broke my glasses, and came here thinking I could get replacement pair in a hurry. I have contacted live chat twice, today and earlier this week, and both times they tell me production will notify me about completion date but nothing. I cannot get anything more than the typical word service that live chat provides, with no direct contact with production, or anyone who can tell me anything about my order. If you need your glasses in a hurry, don't order here. They do not offer overnight shipping, only expedited.

Horrible service. I placed an order that was "stuck" in production, so I requested a cancellation. They called me and offered 130% of the value to replace an order. So, I did. I ordered another prescription glasses AND sunglasses. I received notification via text the order shipped. Only to find out it didn't. One pair was again "stuck" in production and the other order is sitting in their sorting facility. Live chat is basically useless and you can't even speak with someone live on the phone. What a complete joke. Horrible customer service.

Ordered single vision no frills glasses, but took over three weeks to receive them. Customer service chats were automated responses until I specifically requested a live agent. GlassesUSA promised to send our glasses by express because of their delay, but sent it by regular mail. Poor customer service and did not honor their claims.

Prices were decent, but boy do they spam you with emails. Order process looked normal up until after start of production notification, then things go drastically downhill. Order tracking page states to allow 6 days for production. On the 10th day, having received no shipping updates, I connected with a live agent to get an update. She was apologetic but couldn't provide any details on status. She upgraded my shipping, from standard to expedited. Said she put in a request for follow-up in "1-2 days". A week went by with no promised follow-up and more order status had changed to "unexpected problem, we'll contact you soon". I connected with live agent twice since and both gave me the same run-around of follow-up in "1-2 days". Weeks after placing my order, I still don't have any explanation why I still don't have my glasses. Only meaningless apologies.
I ordered progressive lenses. They misread my prescription and made one of the lenses a negative correction instead of positive. Needless to say I could not see with that lens. I sent the glasses back and there has been no further communication. And there is no live customer service only text and it tells me my glasses were delivered even though I returned them. Postal service shows they did get the glasses back. I'm hoping I didn't lose my money

Answer: I got the same B. S. handed to me. After more than double the stated time and lack of response, I cancelled my order and notified my credit card company.

Answer: Our production times vary between each prescription and lens type we produce. By far our glasses are produced and delivered before the times stated in our shipping policy. In some cases, unfortunately, glasses might not pass quality assurance, which means they need to be remade. This unfortunately means that we have to start again from scratch, but as a rule we do not send out any glasses that did not meet our quality standards. Shipping times are unfortunately mostly beyond our control as we depend upon our carriers to deliver the products in a timely manner. Our delivery department works toe to toe with all of our carriers to make sure our glasses are delivered as promptly as possible. We also offer a variety of shipping options that ensure a faster delivery for any interested customers, but our customers need to keep in mind shipping times do not include production time. Our customer service is available by phone, email, chat and social media around the clock, 24\7. We can be easily reached at any time, including weekends and holidays at all times to answer any questions and concerns. Our dedicated customer service team works around the clock to make sure any and all issues are taken care of. Answer: I ordered a pair on 3rd Nov and was still waiting on 20 Nov. I canceled them On the 21st. A rep called and convinced me to give them a second chance...big mistake. I gave them a second shot and resubmitted the order on the 21st. The rep assured me that the glasses would be shipped in 6 days. Taking into account Thanksgiving the glasses should have be shipped on the 30th but they were still in production and, again no real customer service. I canceled and drove to America's Best. In 15 minutes I ordered glasses and they were $30.00 less than glassesusa. I don't recommend that company.
