I recently ordered a set of cheese curds and the batter mix to go with them. It took 11 days to receive the order and then when I open the box, the cheese curds have GREEN MOLD on them! I am absolutely disgusted with this and will never order again! Buyer beware!
I got all kinds of magazines from them and their affiliates, (ie. Swiss Colony, Montgomery Wards, etc.) when I finally broke down and decided to buy from them and use the "up to $400 credit" for $25 per month my purchase with the high shipping charge totaled $380. I logged in to check the status of my order and there was a note saying that none of my items had been shipped and I would receive in the mail a letter explaining why. "Are you kidding me?" You couldn't email me a reason? Why do I need to wait on the mail? And there was also a link to "make a down payment" and it asked for $190 down. If I had a $190 down I could have just done a dang layaway! WHY advertise credit and make people hopeful then dash it with a lot of red tape and smoke screens? And if you want to start someone off with a small amount say that from the top and don't make them a $400 offer if you are only going to give them $100 or less to get started. My Husband gets a lot of their magazines with these same offers and he tosses them in the garbage, which is what I will do from now on. Finger-Hut will most likely work with me cause they want my business.

I have been with Ginny's for years. I called them to see if they reported to the major credit bureau's. They informed me that they DO NOT. So I proceeded to make payments to pay it off. Well all of a sudden I get late fees they tell me that they can't stop them even if I make over the amount due WTH. Are you kidding me. I am so displeased with this company. I have ordered so much from them. They messed up gave me two account numbers now I'm paying for it! NEVER DO BUSINESS AGAIN!
I will NEVER order from this company again. Did once but never recieved a billing statement. They had the name wrong (which was their fault) took me a dozen phonecalls several emails & an act of congress to get it changed. The people working there are VERY rude. I paid off my shipment in 1 lump sum & let them know they are rude & more like a scam. I don't know how they stay in business.

This site is for those who don't have a credit card to their name. They give you a small line of credit at first ($100), and as you make monthly payments, they raise your limit. Great for those who are in need of a few things, but need to make payments. I received my order on time, intact, and it was of a better quality than expected. The cost was reasonable, but not cheap. It's a "great business" in these days of foreclosures, job loss, etc.
The Dome Oven is great. Cakes and Roasts cook perfectly.It is easy to set up and clean.It can cook and bake a lot of different recipes.
Dec 29th 2016 I order a wheel chair bag and pillow. I receive the wheelchair bag right away. But the wheelchair pillow was on back order for three different time 6 months later they call me inform me that it will not be deliver till June 17th 2017. So I try to cancel it. Call CS they gave me a really hard time stating that I could not cancel it; I would to wait till I receive it and return it. I explained that the person that it was ship to was no longer here so I would not have any way to get it or send it back she not there so it was finally cancel. So I called CS the next day to check in see did I owe a balance explained what had taken place this CSR was rude, crude to the fact the love one was no longer here and unprofessional interrupters, she well very much not trained, do not value your customers at all. She hung up on me while I was talking asking to speak to supervisors, I call back ask to speak to supervisors she stated the she was the supervisors I explain to her what had taking place over the course of the today s she act as if she could really careless. I am beyond disappointed because I really been satisfy with all my products I have order from this company

I tried to use a gift certificate for a purchase. The customer service department sent me an email saying the certificate number I provided was invalid, and that I should respond in two days, or they would proceed with the order and charge my card the full amount. I responded immediately with a message and a photo of the certificate. I never received a response, and I sent two follow up emails. Nothing. Two days later the full amount is charged to my card. I called and asked for an explanation. The customer service rep said he had no access to interactions by email, only some notes. He asked someone who said apparently the gift certificate had already been used. (It definitely hasn't). I asked when and for what, and he said the one person who could ask that information was not in the office but he would send a personal message to have that person call me. After 7 days I still have not received a call, and nobody has ever answered any of my countless emails. I canceled my order and will never order anything from Ginny's again. There is no excuse for poor customer service.

Owed refund and they sat about 8 weeks, really, I did retail management for years there is no way it should take that long

They are rude and crude. Very much not trained well. Ask the stupidist questions. To ask why I wasn't alerted for a payment received,. I get the same thing said forward and backwards. And it doesn't answer the question. My suggestion. Hire 4th graders because their endless supply of 1st graders is not working..

I returned the iden i ordered the same day i got it did'nt even open the box today i got a bill saying my payment is due.

I ordered a foot massager for a Christmas gift and when my niece opened it, it didn't work. I sent it back right away and requested an exchange. My money was refunded but I still never received the replacement. I called today 2-17 and was told that they don't have that item anymore. Gee thanks for letting me know AND for letting down my niece.
I have been aGinny's customer since 1990 & have always been pleased up until my last order. I ordered 5 boxes of the selfstick floor tiles(item #jl*******) & the roll top veggie bin(#JL*******) received the items in good condition & a timely manner.The floor tiles are of the poorest quality & surprised me by being in the catalog at all.The tiles DO NOT stick for more than 15 minutes & I had to buy glue to stick them down. Even that did not work well as the corners are now coming up.The tiles break Very easily & half of 1 box had the (supposedly)sticky stuff on less than half of each tile. I was totally disappointed in this product & although I've always been pleased with Ginny's products before, I am not sure that I will order again.
I have been Ginny's customer for about 10 years I've been loyal and I have never been late on my payment last week in order on the phone through Ginny's, I first made sure my payment would only go up 5$, as I am disabled with a small income. I also have a Montgomery Ward account which is fully paid off. For some reason the woman on the phone put the order on my Montgomery Ward instead of my Ginny's imagine my surprise when I got a bill in the mail for $30 from my Montgomery Ward account. I called them I explained to them over and over again to each different Department the mistake that was made on their end, that if they don't fix it is will have to go without food 5 days a month. By the end of our call I was in tears and they were adamant that I placed that order online at wards and it was my own fault.
People avoid this SCAM Company! I received a catalog from them which said i was approved for $250 credit, i tried to place an order and the lady on the phone told me everything was fine and i would receive my order on Friday which is Today! But all i did received was a leather that said i had to make a down payment for $125 dollars. I'll be suing this company for false advertisement, my credit score was 680 before i placed an order and today it went down to 650 because there is a Hard Inquiry on my CreditKarma rapport, stay away from this SCAM company! They haven't even shipped anything to me and already lowered my credit score...
I am definitely NOT going to be ordering from Ginny's after reading these reviews. Thank you to everyone for informing us!
In my opinion, if you have to pay half upfront than you probably have really horrible credit. My credit isn't great but it's good enough that they constantly are giving me a credit increase and I don't ever have to pay anything up front.
Mediocre company
I decided to do all my Christmas shopping at Ginny's. I sat down on a Sunday evening working off a gift list for my daughter, my wife, my mother-in-law and my son. I ordered several products from this company. A total of about $900. They actually shipped one order and suspended my credit line for all the other orders without having the minimal curtesy of notifying me.
When I called this company on December 6 to find out what the issue was, I was told I cannot use my account for two weeks because of suspicious activity. Even though I am in the phone verifying all my information I was told to re-order in 2 weeks and pay expedited shipping in order to get the gifts by Christmas.
This is ludicrous. I get a credit line increase to $1400. I am told I can use that credit line to order from the catalog and because I placed more than one order they will not ship.
They now have one less customer.
I'm am no longer interested in their ficticios credit or merchandise. I obtained everything elsewhere.
My daughter wanted Kareoke machine which i bought it through here on Ginnys. What do you know? They shipped the box as is... so of course my daughter first one home and saw her christmas gift. The gift wasn't boxed at all. I called to let them know customer service lady was so rude and said she doesnt deal with the shipping and that to return it id have to pay for shipping and handling. Even though they made the mistake. People dont be fooled these conpanies which include their sisters conpanies are all horrible. Thanks
