I recently opened up an account with Ginny's. They cave me a pretty impressive credit limit. I ordered all of my Christmas presents from them and all of the presents have already arrived and are in perfect condition. I do find them to be a bit overpriced but the fact the monthly payments are so low makes up for it in my opinion. I am assuming most people don't get credit from them are like me and have had credit problems in the past so I'm just thankful they gave me the opportunity to rebuild my credit. I did have to contact customer service via email twice and got a prompt reply. So far so good with this company!
I bough meat and cheese gift set, and a tin with 7 Christmas treats. Products were a bit pricey, but high quality and tasty.
I am a first time customer and may very well be the last... I just spent an hour on the phone with these people and got absolutely nowhere
On top of everything else in 2020! I've had a charge account since 2014. I've not had a balance since 2018. Tried to use the account to have some gifts shipped. They sent an email with no instructions. I called the customer service they said I had to life the credit freeze on my report. I asked which bureau. No one could tell me. They offered to release the order with payment in full. I asked what's the point of the charge account?
After almost an hour being bounced around they still couldn't tell me what credit bureaus to release the freeze on. "I'm deeply sorry I don't have this information ". WTH?
Canceled the order now things probably won't get to their destination in time for the holiday. Thanks Ginny!
NEVER AGAIN!
I've had this account and used it for years. Never missed a payment. When I tried to place an order they wanted me to put a deposit down of the entire amount Of the purchase when I have over $3,000 in available credit! What a joke of a company!
Twice this year you have sent derogatory bills to the credit people saying I owed you. Once in May for $74.99 and now in October for $215.00. I have never placed an order with your company. Please remove my name and address from your file. Do not give my information to any other catalog. Thank you!
I ordered an air fryer on 8-11-2019 and it stopped working. They did replace it and now the new one stopped working, after just 3 months!
Masks took 2 months to arrive. They looked nothing like the photo on their site and they are very cheap. Do not purchase from this site. They will also not refund you.
Never heard of it? How come it's on my credit report? Stay away! I'll let my son deal with these people for me as he loves a good case!
I moved to a new apartment and I ordered a couple of masks. Well what I thought was my new zip code, it wasn't And I Didn't know till after it was shipped. I sent message to shipper, but that didn't help. I asked for a half refund but they refuse to budge on any compromise. Thy are wanting another $11 to reship order. When they could've easily took care of the customer. I wouldn't buy from them And hope others won't.
I placed a ordered on August 17th 2020, and sent a $20.00 check. A few days later I decided to canceled the order. But, Ginnys cashed the check anyway, even after I had canceled.
Now im fighting tooth and nails with Ginnys trying to get my money back from these crooks since August 17th. I want my money and someone to contact me about my refund Asap. Order # JA*******
We ordered this bird bath paid around $60 it came with a broken piece and because the item was out of stock they couldn't replace, they did give a $8 discount to keep us from returning it. Here is a picture of the bird bath after a few months. Terrible product, cheap, plastic
It is amazing that i have an account with the sister company and they receive all of my payments. Unfortunately when i pay my Ginny's account with the same banking information as the Midnight Velvet account Ginny's tells me they did not receive it. I called my bank and was told they never received any information from the company. This is a scam to charge late fees. And make harassing phone calls with the rudest people ever!
I recently checked my credit online and saw a negative mark from ginnys for $50.00. Out of concern I contacted ginnys because I do not recall ever having. A ginnys account, and if I do in fact owe them the money, I want to pay them. When I called them, there story makes no sense at all. They claim I ordered something but they can not tell me what it was, and that I returned it. This makes no sense at all. For several reasons, no where does there site make mention of having to pay to return defective merchandise, especially $50.00? Thats a huge restocking fee, not to mention the. Negative mark was not on my credit report a few months ago, but it's there now, from over 5 years ago? Why cant they at least tell me what I supposidley purchased? I honestly remember thinking of opening an account, but neither my wife or myself remember ever actually doing so. Its no wonder they cant tell me what was purchased, because nothing was ever purchased. Total scam and I want this fixed.
I ordered an item and then didn't need it. I wishedto return it and they told me I will have to pay. I was going to get some more items but after talking with the rude customer service representative I will NEVER get anything from there.
I am very disgusted with this company.
I ordered my husband a personalized throw for father's day and he loves it, also a few months before that I purchased a pan set that came with a set of 5 glass bowls which were broken upon arrival I contacted customer service and the agent I forgot her name sent me a replacement set I love these bowls. Never been dissatisfied with a purchase and thanks to them my credit is rising as well.
So, I have no experience with them as far as purchasing products, but I had to deal with them for an identity theft issue.
They refused to even look into it. They refused to review my account, check my proof, anything.
When I called customer service I was told they weren't going to do anything about it because, as they said, I might be a random person pretending to be me. Like... Really? I just randomly got up one day, pulled a person out of my $#*!, did some digging, figured they owed money, and put on an act as a golden deed for a random person to get debt gone?
Seriously.
This goes for their other company: Seventh Avenue as both accounts were connected.
To this day, I still have the debt, about $1200. Even with a police report, they refused to help.
Deborah is a $#*! and I'm going to see her face to face let's see how cocky she gets when I come into their office. $#*! THAT $#*!. I'm gonna piss down her throat

Ginny's customer service is a joke. Their products break easily and they say they dont receive your returns so you a stuck with a bill anyway. Do not buy from here.
Yes... A lady called me to confirm my order. She was really nice and professional. Then I got a call from a Latasha this morning letting me know my order was shipped and arrival date and with who. Very nice customer service and very friendly. I will use Ginny again.
