I have really enjoyed using Gigsalad to book my gigs. I have gotten many more leads with it than I otherwise would have. It's simple to use, customizable, and the communication via text and email is super helpful. Highly recommend!

I didn't give it much thought and hope when I registered for a free account on GigSalad, thinking that it might be another platform like Thumbtack that will only get you leads (and fake leads) if you pay a lot of money. I was wrong, they actually much more user-friendly and vendor centric than Thumbtack! My experience with GigSalad has been good so far and I got booked four times within just two months. (Considering how busy I am with teaching).

If you're not using Gigsalad to get booked for events, I'd have to ask why? I've been working with them for over 10 years and can only say how glad I am that I do! There are many ways to try and get booked but in my opinion, nothing is as far-reaching. I've used many ways to advertise and this is the most effective way to get more leads. I'm also very happy with the fee structure. Very fair and worth the cost.

The website makes suggestions at times during the process to communicate and to touch base with potential customers as well as with already booked customers. As a solitary kind of guy, this really helps me to be proactive on my approach.

As a professional Santa, this is the first year I have used any kind of booking service besides myself. GigSalad was highly recommended by many of my "Brothers in Red" It made it easier to reach beyond my local area without spending a lot of money on untested advertising.The online calendar made it much easier to stay organized and allows blocking out unavailable times as well as letting one add in self done bookings. GigSalad provides leads but doesn't commit to a booking. That is up to me entirely. I stay in control.

Tidewater Santa was our guest at the Parkside at Bennetts Creek HOA Breakfast with Santa. He was fun, attentive and worked well with the children. We could not have asked for a better booking or experience.

I somehow stumbled across this platform. I'm a freelance entertainer and I've been trying different platforms to book local gigs. This website is awesome! It's really easy to use and gets a lot of traffic. I started off with the free site and got lots of hits and bookings. The beauty of it is they work with you to make sure you know when you have a lead And they even help you through the process of booking and closing out a gig. One of the great things I love about it as well is they ask your clients for reviews so you don't have to. The customer service is excellent as well. When I booked my first gig there was an issue with the payment getting processed to my bank account. They contacted me and worked with me to resolve the issue. I also like that they don't charge you for your leads but you pay after you get the booking. They take a cut of your booking which is fine with me. I would highly recommend this side to any performers out there seeking to book local gigs. It was a game changer for me. Very glad I found the site and can't wait to continue using it in the future.

For me, the best feature of GigSalad is the security and trust that Gigsalad provides for it's performers.

As a working musician, I have been stiffed on more gigs than I would care to admit. Using GigSalad to book performances has been a revelation - the peace of mind I get from the security of booking gigs on Gigsalad is worth more than I pay for the service fees.

My first gig booked through GigSalad has more than paid for the first 3 months of the 'Featured Performer' membership that I have paid for!

Gigsalad is great to use to get gigs for my group. We get notifications by text when someone posts a gig for us to bid on, and it keeps track of bids and messages. Now there is a calendar where we can post availability, too. We are already booked up for Christmas 2022!

Highly professional, I get a lot of work from them. I have used Gig Salad for many years and even have a featured profile. I find them to be incredibly easy to communicate with and even refund money when it was taken in error. Or if the gig canceled.

It actually was time for me to renew my membership and I like to pay a year in advance. I looked at the amount of money I needed to spend, $479 and then I looked at the leads that had materialized for me and totaled up over $4000. It is definitely worth the investment!

I set up my profile and with in a day I had a request to come and perform and lead worship at a church just a couple of hours away. We negotiated a reasonable fee and now I'm looking forward to being with them this Sunday morning. I hope to gain many new friends and opportunities through gig salad as I continue to expand my music and ministry.

I've been with Gig salad for 2 yrs. To check them out, I went with the Free Membership option although I'm already considering one of their Paid Memberships. Setting up my Profile was easy & painless. One thing I really like is the ability to request & have posted, reviews from previous Event Coordinators (even those not booked through GigSalad). Gigsalad is getting more and more efficient. From time we get leads. Then we reply with a quote. What's awesome about this platform is that GigSalad sends you an email notification on the spot when the client "view" your quote. This is key in following with the client on time.
When one gets many leads from time to time on several platforms on can miss on the follow-ups. And THE FOLLOW UPS (rightly done so) are KEY in closing/selling deals. Gig salad it is a wonderful page where you can find people interested in what you do and they really appreciate your work when you are responsible and talented

I moved to Austin, TX 3 years ago. The music scene was genuinely intimidating to a newcomer. Gigsalad was recommended by a friend and I hopped on. Excellent idea. My band and I almost immediately began pulling bookings for private parties, corporate events, weddings and a lot of opportunities to even perform our own music.

The fact that you control your own quotes directly with the client makes it easy to grow and thrive at your own pace. In our case we started with a small PA and lighting system that was appropriate for backyard parties and small events. Thanks to the continued work we got from our gigsalad events we were able to reinvest in our infrastructure to include trailers, stage modules, PA and lighting systems and even a band vehicle leading to bigger, better paying opportunities.

I'm very grateful to the gigsalad platform. Their rates are quite reasonable, considering the potential and I keep food on my table largely because of this terrific service.
