I placed order for cake and paid for it from Canada by credit card. After couple of days, I received another e-mail from *******@vsnl.net to pay Rs. 180 more towards EDC (I don't know what that mean, neither they explained about EDC in their e-mail) and there was link to make online payment. It appeared like scam. It seems their internet servers are not secure and probably it was hacker trying to scam me. Lesson learnt... Gifts-to-india.com. Never again!

Diwali came and gone with no solution in sight i am forced to write negative comments for the first time for a business. Order placed on 2015/11/08 from Canada for New Delhi delivery. Guess what after 2 prior successful deliveries the business this time failed completely to resolve the issue about my Diwali gift's non delivery. Multiple calls with many emails have not yet yield any results. So i can say, it can work for you or might not but running of business on chances is not a solid foundation.

I had ordered a cake to be delivered to my mom on her bday, all the way from USA. I did it two days prior to the desired delivery date so that they would get enough time. But they did not deliver it on that day. When I called customer service they said it will be delivered in 10 mins. But after two hours also they did not send the cake. I called them back again and they said "sorry it will be delivered tomorrow". This is the kind of service they are giving to people. They should just write on their home page " please spare the horror of delivering gofts at the correct time, or change your date of occasion according to our convenience". It is the most horrible site I came across. Never in the future will I place any order with these people. Such a shame.

Never order with this company. I ordered a Birthday Cake from Canada (Black Forest ref Order id HGTI**************) and they delivered a pack of "$#*!" from some dirty vendor. Instead of Black forest they delivered a chocolate cake with rotten smell from a local market. They mentioned in the website that the cake will be from a 5 star or equivalent (Black Forest Cake From Taj / 5 Star Hotel Bakery-Note: We deliver only Freshly Baked Cakes. Bakeries make ready the fresh baked Cake only by 11 AM. Thus all orders of Cake can only be delivered after noon time) I tried to contact them, they never responded. Saying that they cant hear me. Cheating company. Never go for this company. If this case not being addresses reasonably, I will be sharing this experience with my friends all over North America and also report to Consumer affairs in Canada as well as the Banks.In addition the issue with evidence will be posted in Social media as well as report to the press.

I had ordered a cake for my niece's birthday and even though it was sent the same day, it was a completely different cake! She has sensitivity to other types of milk chocolate, thus I had ordered dark chocolate cake on purpose but she received a milk chocolate cake instead. When inquired, they simply said that the cake that was sent was still fresh and up to mark so I had no case or reason to complain and they will not be taking any action!

They do not give a crap about your order or that you could have picked a certain item for a specific purpose. They simply want your money and do not deliver as promised/intended. I wish i had read these reviews before ordering from them.

If u r going to buy any item from this website than hold on. As a first customer i really had bad experience. While shopping, they promise u to deliver the gifts same day.if purchased before 4 pm. Once u buy and than ur trouble begins. The gift will not be delivered as promised on site. U will even not find any phone details on website. Only u have to mail them. Any how i got the phone no. When u call the customer care, they will make excuse that the place was remote so couldnt be delivered. If it is so, than why didnt u indicate this while shopping?... Plz dont make fool to customers. Also they said that they have sent mail to me regarding despatch but i ddnt recieve any mail from their side. It was so pathetic. Please never buy items. A total waste of my time.

My fiancee had orderd a cake and few fifts for me from UK which was supposed to arrive on 1st aug.
They took money for an expensive cake which was displayed on their site and the cake i received
Was entirely different from the original.It appeared to be from some cheap local bakery and was horrible to say the least.The gifts which she ordered were delivered 15 days after my birthday... it took them freaking 15 days to deliver it!

What a pathetic service! I ordered a box of haldiram sweets from Australia for my mohers birthday on to be delivered by 12th August (7 days before) and still the sweets did not reach my parents. Customer service person tells me that they have couriered it and now it is courier company who will handle the delivery! Rubbish... the fun part part is the item was moving in kolkata for two days! Learnt my lesson... am never gonna use this website again... was wondering if negative stars was an option :(

Don't make a mistake ever of ordering on this site. I don't have the patience to get into all the details but these $#*!tards do not respond to you once the order is made. Noone is even aware of where my courier package is. 12 days and still counting, and all you can do is just dial up one of the 3 phone numbers they have provided. Then if u start asking questions about where ur package is or yell at them all they do is mute ur call or just hang up on you & u will have to repeat the process of calling up all over again and start explaining from the scratch to the next cust care guy who picks up ur phone. This process repeats.
Finally I had to take things into my hands without depending on these fit for nothing $#*!s and contact the local courier guys n track it.
So my "SURPRISE" gift that I sent to my family was an utter flop as it has nt reached even after 12 days that it was supposed to!
