Tried to dispute a transaction through the merchant. Was unable to. Could not access the website dispute form, website said to call if there were problems with the dispute. Called, just got told they'd email the dispute form, told them three times that I had the form emailed to me, got told this was the only way. I explained again, they asked me to use my phone. I do not have a personal cellphone, they called their supervisor, got to them in less than a minute just to tell me again that the online forum that I could not access was the only way. I told them my computer would not load it, they had the audacity to tell me to go out of my house and to a library to fill it out on a computer there. So you are saying your site says to call if you have issues, and then you are just gonna tell the person to go to a public place, put in private information, to fill out a your forum that does not work? I got put on hold for several minutes, then they got back to me and told me they would have to keep me on hold for longer to get me to a supervisor. When they got to one in less than a minute. I just gave up. Never gonna get that money back, they should remove the tooltip telling you to call if you have issues, if all they are gonna to is try to shove the thing you have issues with down your throat. Unhelpful, uncaring services... I hope to never get a card from them again.
I purchased 170 Visa Gift Cards on 12/02/2021 for our employees as Christmas gifts.
It took them 2 days to tell me the payment was still not processed and that it would have to be done manually. I waited 2 days and called them and they still told me it was not processed so I decided to cancel. It took another 2 days to cancel and now it will take 7-10 business days to be refunded!
I do not recommend using them to buy gift cards. Period.
I purchased one of their giftcards at a major grocery store, activated it that night. I went to uae it the next day and the balance was zero. Icalled themand went online and did a chat and they said they couldn't help me. Scammers are waiting for you to buy and rhen you're $#*! our of luck. I am attaching a photo of the company that took thw money. I called the number and it's busy anytime of the day.
Repetitively lost data, reloaded on it's own, malfunctioned, required back buttons to enter same info, blanked the screen... no amount of patient attempts would work.
Not reliable or intuitive or easy or anything other than excrement.
Got the card as payment for moving some furniture with $200 on it. Went to the website and registered it so that I could have some items shipped to me. Nearly wiped it out short of $11.13. Checked on it 2 days later and a car company in Georgia had managed to get that last $11.13. Filed a dispute, which is a real pain. Had to return one of the items I purchased and the purchase was refunded to this card, which is now deactivated. Roughly $50 total lost on the card. Contacted "customer service" and was informed they requested a refund for the fraudulent charges and I will have to wait up to 90 days for a response. If the fraudulent company does not willingly offer a refund then I'm out that amount. Supposedly they will issue a replacement card for the amount I had refunded from the vender I purchased from but I suspect they are banking on me forgetting that a gift card company owes me money. I have seen several other complaints about the Georgia car company, probably related to the Blackhawk Network that supplies the cards. They know the company will never refund the scammed amount and are probably feeding them information how how much to charge to which card number
I had a friend send me one of there gift cards and when i actived. It for the 300,00 dollars as soon as I was done they charged Google play for 300.00 dollars not once but twice and now I'm waiting on a third card that was suppose to be in the mail days ago this company sucks and if anyone is smart they would not buy nothing from this company I WISH I DIDNT HAVE TO RATE ANY STARS. BECAUSE THEY DONT DESERVE ONE
Stay away from this company. I purchased a card worth over $250 for my father on 7/6 and it came without a visible CVC number. Called the company to get a replacement the next day, was told I will get a replacement in 7-10 business days, did not get anything. Called again, this time the manager gave me "her word" I will be getting a replacement in 3-5 days… 8 days passed and nothing. Nothing they say they say the best thing will be to mail me a checkin 15 business days… a complete SCAM! Bought the card over a month ago. Still nothing
I purchased a $100 VISA giftcard and it got hacked and someone stole the remaining $50 on the card. I was on the phone with their "customer support" for a while and said they would ship a new card in around 2 weeks. The card came today and when I checked the balance it said there was $0.72.
Accidentally tried to check the balance of a gift card from another company on here and there were soon fraudulent charges on my gift card. Someone stole it
If I could leave a 0 star review I would. This company should be located on SCAM avenue in FRAUD city. My story begins immediately after my purchase of a $200 gift card for my clients. They never received the card and when I reached out to customer service to get them to resend the card I received a lot of hesitation. After this hesitation they resent the "Gift Card". Weeks later my clients went out to dinner and sent me an email that night after letting me know that the card was invalid and had a balance of zero dollars on it. Once again I reached out to customer service and spoke with a woman who danced around questions and dodged my concerns like she was returning a punt on the last play of the super bowl. She couldn't keep her story straight and kept talking in circles. Of course, no resolution was made. The same people calling you about your cars extended warranty run this company. Instead of throwing your money to a sham of a company, pick a good charity and give someone else your money, because you will never see it again.
Bought a card for $125.00, went to use the next day and funds were not there. Checked website and card had been used to purchase on Amazon and some car place in Georgia. I'm in new Jersey. No answer over the phone or emails. Total scam.

Website: Only the area for purchases works. I get a server not responding message from areas dealing with post-purchase cards.
Conclusion: They are thieves and should be held accountable.
Giftcardmall.com Visa card sends you a unrecognizable card you can't register with false advertising customer support, live chat will tell you your on the wrong website which is clearly on the back of the card and a number that can't verify. You can write a personal letter to get help, by sending a letter by Pony Express. Your money is unavailable and unrecognizable mysteriously Someone has a nice vacation home Absolute fraud and they have a successful system to steal your money
DO NOT purchase from gift card mall. They are a scam company. They take your money and deliver worthless goods. I purchased a $100 gift card to give as a birthday gift. Received a worthless card with a ZERO balance! Contacted my bank who investigated and said since I received the card, I received benefit since they cannot tell the balance on the card. I contacted gift card mall who goes by different names and they gave me the run around. Customer service was useless and talks in circles. Sounded like they are reading off a card so they must be used to complaints. Bottom line I'm out $100 and had to buy another birthday gift to give.
I just spent multiple emails dealing with a scam with this company. I ended up contacting my state's Attorney General (highly recommend you do this to get any resolution to your claim as they carry enough weight to make them do the right thing). I bought $200 gift card to TJMaxx for a Christmas present this past year (2020). When my daughter went to redeem it at the local store, they said it had already been used although the PIN had not been scratched off yet. Since I have a friend who is the CEO of another gift card company, I contacted him to verify how things worked in this business. He said that card numbers + PINS are kept in a data base and there is the very likelihood that someone hacked their system and redeemed them (most probably online since all they had were digits, not the physical card). Giftcardmall.com is just a card-fulfilling website owned by BLACKHAWK NETWORK. This is the company you need to contact to get a resolution. Michael Day, Legal General Counsel, begrudgingly agreed to refund my money in communication with my state's AG's office. The nimwhits at GCM.com were still sending back "sorry, final sale, kiss off" emails. BOTTOMLINE: there is some sort of internal fraud going on there that no one seems to care about until you get someone bigger and badder than them involved. They will try to wear you down with their "deny the claim" messages. Google your state's attorney general to find the contact info to email them. I guarantee that they will help you. PS: Blackhawk is owned by the Private Equity firm, Silver Lake. PE firms HATE bad PR. I would call their NY office to voice your concerns. Google to find their office phone number, this site won't allow the phone number to post.
I've received two cards (as Gifts) for $100 each (on different occasions), and each time the card didn't work. I tried them at a variety of different vendors to see if that was the issue, and I checked the balance online to verify of the card had a proper balance—which it did. Nevertheless, I had no success using these cards. I finally was able to contact someone at Giftcardmall, only to find out that it had been used by someone else, who had zeroed out the balance. This country is in serious trouble, because too many of the businesses are just fleecing its customers, and it's getting considerably worse each day. Hell, is this company even located in the United States?
They have stolen from me twice on two separate cards. Beware and do not believe anything they say because they are a scam.
I placed an order for 2 separate $50 gift cards (Michael's and Target) and immediately after submitting order I received message saying my order was cancelled and I would receive a refund in 7-10 days. Upon chatting with online representative (computer I'd guess) they could not answer my question as to why my order would be cancelled. They also said I was not charged and said the message about a refund was a "standard" message. I believe they may be capturing personal credit card information to sell or for other illegal use. There is no other explanation - otherwise as a company surely they would have given me one.
As advertised, the VISA gift card NEVER worked. Contacted the one of the useless customer services. The card only works in 80 stores. I am not sure why US govt. Allows this kind of web site to do business allowing to cheat on customers. NEVER BUY GIFT CARDS FROM THIS Website.
Answer: Mine NEVER worked at any store or online. I am still trying but not optimistic.
