DO NOT BOOK UNTIL U ARE IN TOWN. My airlines were late all day. This company refused to give me a refund on missed tour. They told me to cancel 24 in advance. If I was psychic and knew the airlines were going to ruin my day I would have cancelled
getyourguide.com does not honor their cancellation policy. Currently being scammed out of 180 dollars. The cancellation policy states 24 hours in advance for a full refund. Their rep said if only I cancelled sooner. I cancelled 38 hours in advance! I provided proof In the pictures for those who are skeptical

The WORST company to deal with EVER. I purchased a hop on hop off ticket at 6 am to start THE FOLLOWING DAY. I was instructed I had to go pick up the voucher across the Potomac river, and had to pay almost the cost of the stupid ticket to to get over there via UBER. Once I got there, the bus company said there WAS NO VOUCHER and I would have to COME BACK THE DAY I WANTED TO USE THE TICKET! I went back to the hotel and IMMEDIATELY called "Get your guide" who said it was less than 24 hours before the event was to start so they would need approval. I PURCHASED THE ITEM AT 6 AM FOR THE FOLLOWING DAY. I CALLED TO CANCEL THE MINUTE I FOUND OUT THEY HAD GIVEN ME INCORRECT INFO. I received an email saying they would get back to me within 2 days with the status and THEY NEVER REVERSED THE CHARGE AND NEVER GOT BACK TO ME WITH ANY CORRESPONDENCE. I will NEVER use this shoddy company again no matter what state I am in. THEY ARE AWFUL. I had to dispute my credit card.

Do not book with this company. They refused a refund when my wife got a migraine the day before our event in the Florida Everglades and the hotel and other tour graciously understood how sudden and debilitating migraine headaches can be. Get Your Guide asked for hospitalization record! Then wanted medical certification for that day. I sent her doctors note and Relpax prescription but they still denied it. Very poor service as well. Don't use. Book directly with tour operators and avoid third party nightmares when plans unexpectedly change.

GetYourGuide quickly caps operators in most big cities, not allowing any new operators. This vastly favors wealthy, white (in my city nearly 100%) existing owners. New activities and companies are barred, new activities by old companies are barred, if they decide there are already enough events happening where you live.
So in other words, in my city they'll sell 8 versions of a haunted tour, but no new or different events. And if someone tries to start one, GetYourGuide won't list them. Because they base their image entirely on the opposite -- bringing people small local activities -- it's one big deception! Obviously that rule would do the opposite, and no other OTA I know of has that kind of oppressive rule. Don't use GetYourGuide!

I purchased tickets for MOMA and due to the new COVID restrictions my 10 year som was not allowed to enter. The staff at MOMA advised that I would get a full refund. I sent contacted GETYOURGUIDE and explained the situation. After 8 emails back and forth they informed me I will not get a refund. This is unfortunate. I will make sure not to use the site again.

Don't always believe online negative reviews…. I booked this tour before I read any reviews and afterwards all the reviews I read created a worry doubt in my mind. Would they cancel? Would I be denied a refund is something went wrong? Would they not show up?… My experience couldn't be further from my worries. After I booked the tour company provided excellent communication, sharing all the relevant information and arrangements regarding pick up times. Everything was fantastic and I felt it was necessary to write a review to provide feedback that won't inject worry into your tour experience. Anna who picked up was wonderful and she really made our tour better. Teresa who was our tour guide was incredible - mountains of knowledge and truly passionate about auschwitz.
From booking this tour to being dropped off at the end it was all such a positive experience.
When booking with this company don't be effected by all reviews - trust your own experience and I'm sure you'll have a fantastic time.

Steer clear of this company. We booked a tour for while we were in Mexico. The day we were supposed to take our tour, which we had been looking forward to, I woke up with a massive migraine. My migraines are debilitating and I'm confined to bedrest when they occur. I'm also told to stay out of extreme heat, and it was over 90 degrees this day.
We called to cancel, and get a refund and were given the run around by representative after representative. When I couldn't handle it anymore due to the pain I was in, I had my husband try to call and the representative he got on the phone laughed at him continuously about my medical condition. They also asked for proof. First of all, I am not going to a doctor in a foreign country especially when I have my own at home, and have no insurance in Mexico – not to mention I don't NEED to go to the doctor when I already know what to do for a migraine. Second, this representative had no right to laugh at my condition and was completely unprofessional.
They refuse to give us a refund since it was less than 24 hours due to "policy" Oh well, a migraine can't be PREDICTED. So this is an exception and they refuse to let us speak to management.
STAY FAR AWAY! Will be pursuing legal action

Whenever I'm looking for a tour or a new experience, Get Your Guide is one of my go-to resources. Especially now post COVID, I really love the option to have a private tour so we can be away from the crowds. It takes a lot of the guess work out and is often the perfect way to start a vacation in a new city. Some of the vendors may be a bit hit or miss but I always do a bit of digging first and have so far never been disappointed.
The tours booked via Get your guide never disappointed us. Good part is the trusted reviews. I would definitely use it for upcoming trips
Had an excellent tour guide, full of facts and answers. Learned so much about the history of Charleston, as well as its architecture. GetYourGuide was quick to respond and answer my questions regarding billing. I highly recommend both the tour and the company.
I absolutely love Get Your Guide. I have used them multiple times and they never disappoint. This tour was no exception. Every stop was amazing and the guide was knowledgeable and professional. Do I wish there was more time…of course but you get a taste of each location. A must do and I would never hesitate to book anything with Get Your Guide.

On 10/18/21, I reserved and paid for "Maui: Sunrise & Breakfast Tour to Haleakala National Park" for 10/22/21 for three. My credit card was immediately charged. A few days later, I called to change my pick up location, and called the number on the confirmation email. The local operator had no idea who I was. She did not have me, or either of my friends on their trip manifest. I had to research to find the number for GetYourGuide. When I called and explained what I had been told, the representative for GetYourGuide said that "as of the moment, the reason why they don't recognize you when you call them, ma'am, is that the reservation is not confirmed due to unexpected operational issues." I later found out that the "unexpected operational issues" were that there were no seats available with the local guide when I booked and GetYourGuide took my money. He said that he was informing me because he had "recently found out." I reminded him that it was *I* who called *him.* Apparently, GetYourGuide had not planned to inform me that my reservation was never confirmed (although they had sent me an email entitled "confirmation"). GetYourGuide had taken my money without actually securing the reservation with the local partner. The representative insisted that "Ma'am, if you know how the process works for reservation companies, this is how it works: when you make a reservation, we process the payment, [and wait to learn if there is a spot available]." When I expressed my anger/disappointment about this process, I was told "ma'am, that's not how reservations work." I was "offered" a different date: 11/4/21 (of course, we were long-gone from Maui at that point), or a full refund (in 3-5 business days). I chose the refund, but what I wanted was the service that I had been promised.

Not very impressed at all!
I purchased 2 tickets for the london eye at a total cost of £49. We queued with everyone else, when it came to scanning my ticket (app) I hadn't been sent a bar code, so couldn't gain entry and was told to see their customer service, they couldn't help as the tickets had been booked through a third party! So I get in touch with Getyourguide and they can't resolve the issue, a full refund wad given. In the meantime I had to purchase tickets direct at a total cost of £67...
Please check your tickets when issued and ensure that you have a bar code as this is what all of the trips require.

I have used the services of Get your Guide for a number of times. They are full of nice words but when a problem arises they leave you with unanswered emails. I won't use their services any more.

Our guide for Auschwitz/Birkenau was excellent. So passionate and informative as well as being from the local area.
We had to wait around for 2 hours (1 and a half hours for "lunch break") and then when we was supposed to enter there were more queues so we were taken to Birkenau 1st and came back to Auschwitz after which was then 5pm.
We had started at the Salt Mine where again we had to wait around for 45 minutes to enter. The guide there was very good too.
Easy to check-in a tour online. The tour-guides and the transportation vehicles were also very good. We benefited very much from the tour guides and liked their explanations during the tours.
We took two full day tours with GetYourGuide and both were fantastic. A small group with a great guide who was knowledgeable and friendly, gave us plenty of time at each location and answered all our questions. So many sights and activities were included at a great price. We didn't miss a thing!
We were in Cabo for our first year anniversary and booked an ATV tour and a sunset cruise for two separate days. We had a great time on each tour. The guides were fun and knowledgeable and everything went smoothly on both occasions. The tours were exactly what we were looking for and truly enjoyed ourselves.
