Liars, terrible customer service. Their app gives random conflicting meeting points so you miss the pickup spot. Customer service does not refund and sends you a copy/paste email no matter what you say. We lost over 100 euro with their service.

Booked a tour for our family at Camp Nou in Barcelona for over 500 euro. Date was changed at time of booking to a week prior to our arrival. Had horrible time contacting an attendant to address booking error, but finally found a working phone number. We spoke with 2 different attendants that told us they would call the venue to reschedule, but they never did. I received an email an hour after speaking with the attendant more or less telling us too bad ( and camp Nou has not even opened for the day). They scammed us out of 500 euro. Don't use this company. Book directly with the venue. This is a terrible company.

Used in Italy and France. Its great way to check out sites and get info about what to see. Realized need to book ahead of time. Only complaint is sometimes the meeting spots not always user friendly. We missed one of our activities, partly because we got lost walking there so we were bit late but then we were is the area boat left before we found right one because instructions not clear on ticket or site. Will definitely use again but will be sure to allow extra time.
Booked 3 excursions through Get My…
I booked 3 excursions through Get My Guide. All 3 excursions there were issues. The first one was a car to pick us up from the airport and take us to an apartment. The driver never showed up. When I called Get your guide they said the best thing to do is cancel the reservation and get a cab. They also said it would take 5 - 7 days for a refund. I asked for assistance booking a different ride and that was also not an option. The second item booked were tickets for a hop on hop off bus which was advertised to run every 30 minutes. We waited at our first stop for 1 hour before a bus came. Which had taken time out of our day. The bus trip was longer than listed as well on the website. Which took more time seeing the sites. The third issue was I booked a private transfer from the port of Civitavecchia to Rome and when our driver showed up there was another couple that we did not know in the van. And no solution2ad offered except a partial refund. I have contacted Get your Guide and the companies the travel was booked woth and no resolution has occurred. I gave also paid a out double of what is listed for each excursion. FRAUD and FALSE ADVERTISING

Une prise en charge désagréable par le guide qui fait preuve d autorité. J ai réservé cette activité en français. Le.guide à signaler faire partie d une agence anglaise et n à pas fait un seul effort pour s exprimer en français.
D un coup d un seul s en ai pris.a mon ado de fille en lui demandant expressément son âge.pourquoi. On sait pas...et ensuite à évoqué la possibilité que mon sac à dos ne passerai pas les contrôles...tt.le monde était équipé d un sac à dos.

We booked the acropolis with the app and paid 16 euros each for today. When we got there the charge on the gate was 12 Euros. We couldn't see another price whilst looking on line and now feel the app is a bit of a rip off.
2 activities well managed, correct price and nice guide. You get what you ask for, you find also a lot of ideas of visits in the place you are.
Zunächst: Ich hoffe, man kann hier auch deutsch kommunizieren - sonst wär's 'n Plus-Stern weniger.
Die vermittelte Tour hat mir und auch meinen Gästen gefallen. Die Gästeführer waren sehr kompetent und freundlich.
Weniger gefallen hat mir die Buchung durch GYG. Wenn man kein Smartphone hat, kommt man in arge Schwierigkeiten. Beim Bestell-, Buchungs- und Bezahlvorgang wird man von GYG an keiner Stelle darauf hingewiesen, daß man am Ende ein Smartphone braucht, um an die Tickets zu kommen. Das geht nicht, ohne eine App herunterzuladen und zu installieren. Wir konnten die Tour nur antreten, weil das Personal der Leipzig Information so freundlich war, meinen ausgedruckten Nachweis der Zahlung zu akzeptieren. Ansonsten muß man befürchten, wegen eines nicht vorhandenen Equipments diskriminiert zu werden.
Ich werde keine Buchung mehr über GYG vornehmen.

I have been wanting to go to Aulschwitz for years, my girlfriend booked the tour tickets before booking the flights so we could be sure we would have no problems The evening before the tour we get an email saying " because of political problems " the tour was cancelled and we would be refunded. There were NO political problems anywhere in Poland. We could not even book another guided tour because we were informed too late.
We decided instead while we were here to go to the Salt mine, we had the tour booked for,10.00 in the morning. We received an email at 8.45 telling us that that tour was also cancelled until 13.10 because of overbooking, we had already made plans for the afternoon which we then had to try and cancel.
Absolutely disgusting way to treat people who have worked hard to save money for this trip and all you get offered back is the tour money! What about my flight and hotel money which I now have to pay again to come and see what I had already paid for...

The trip the guide we enjoyed it very much! We enjoyed all the history of both countries told by the guide...
We recently used GYG for excursions & tours from a Mediterranean cruise ship. A lot of what they offered were the same, similar or better tours than those offered by the cruise line, but for a fraction of the price! We had used them on a prior cruise so I was more than comfortable using them for longer, further excursions from the ship. We never had an issue getting to our excursion or back to the ship in plenty of time. The amount we spent on 5 tours through GYG, would have only allowed us to do 2 tours through the ship! We will continue to use GYG whenever possible!
Value for money services provided. We used this for booking Paris Disneyland tickets and daily cruise on Seine River.
We had 3 perfect adventure tours (buggy tour in Funchal, catamaran tour with Obycat in Caleste fuerteventura, buggy tour Lanzarote with h2o) booked through GyG. All providers were very diligent and friendly partly even with pick up service. We are happy to book again via GyG
