I ordered what was supposed to be a posable life size Halloween skeleton. I viewed pics taken by previous buyers. I received mine. It could fit in the palm of my hand. Yes I got fooled. Shame on me! I wanted to pose it in a chair on my front porch. Elevation! You should be sued for false advertisement. People don't ordered from this lying company.
I am being charged $108 for subscription I didn't even sign up for.I brought some phone charges and that's it.
I can't even find a way to cancel.
What a bloody rip off.
I have cancelled my card and will go through my bank for recovery.

I honestly don't even recall what I purchased - but what I do know is I did not sign up for a membership for $69.99 a month. Called them immediately - asked her what that was for - she said: "You get 10% of all items and free shipping for 3 months." I told her she has about 1 minute to reverse that charge or will call my bank and do it that hard way. She "cancelled my subscription" - what a fricken joke. I asked her how many thousands of calls she gets a day of people pissed that they're scamming them and signing up for a bull$#*! subscription - she couldn't answer... Poor woman - think how many calls she gets in a day with people like me...

I ordered a heavy-duty apron as a gift and gave the shipping address and, of course, listed my own address as the billing address. Instead, they listed the shipping address for both, and when I inquired, I received several emails from customer service saying they were preparing "a response." One of the messages inquired whether I wanted this product at a 10% discount. When I clicked yes, they issued a second order instead of applying the discount to my first order. After several more efforts with email and messaging, I finally found a customer service. The woman said that the company could not intervene in the shipping process, and the person who receives the two packages may return one. Blah, blah, blah. When I asked for a refund, she told me she could offer a 25% refund. When I refused that option, she then offered 50%. I could have stayed on line and haggled, but I consider it a lesson learned. Check the reviews of companies. This one is NOT GOOD. It is NOT RECOMMENDED by the Better Business Bureau, and it's certainly not recommended by me. Darn.

Order a water proof canopy based upon a picture showing frame and canopy. Only received a canopy and no frame. Was told by customer service that they do not sell a frame. I was told I had to pay to return the product and based upon their website, If I don't get a refund in 90 days, i would be receiving one. No integrity, an DO NO order any product from Gear Elevation.

EDIT (6/27/2024): After I had my 4th phone call with their customer service person yesterday, I have today received a REFUND of the entire amount that was charged to my PayPal account and it is being processed by my bank. I am grateful that this company made this right with me. However, with all the complaints I see out there, everyone needs to be extra vigilant when doing any online ordering, especially with this website. Look over the order page like a hawk and make sure there is nothing hiding. So I take back my statement that this is a SCAM company. I changed my 1 star rating to 3 stars. The product ordered was as described and shipped in a timely fashion, but the aggravation of dealing with the hidden subscription charge and the time it took to get it refunded took off two out of 5. Caveat Emptor.
Original review:@elevationshopping (gearelevation.com) is a SCAM Site! Do not order from them. The checkout includes a hidden signup for a $60 "Rewards" subscription that they charge 1 month later (!)... and then good luck getting your money back. We used PayPal for the initial $8 purchase and they charged the subscription last week to my PayPal. PayPal will not overturn the charge as we "authorized" the payment. I have called these people 4 times and have gotten the "runaround". Based on accents, these are not locals. I have also found that they have created hundreds of "Schill" positive reviews to get their rating up. But READ THEM ALL...you will find tons of complaints of just this SCAM.
