I am extremely unhappy with Gearbests service!
They under-declared my package to customs and now I will have to pay a tax penalty.
When I contacted them, they were very unhelpful!

We declared the package dues to some Country's rules.
In this case we can send you the original invoice of this package.
Please confirm if you can use the original invoice to send it to the customs for clearance?

They ignored my question about which rules they refer to and then just sent me the invoice showing the product was worth 179.99$... they declared the product to customs as being worth 100$. I constantly just get generic unhelpful and borderline dishonest replies from Gearbest. UNACCEPTABLE!
The fact remains that Gearbest UNDER-DECLARED the value of my package, either by mistake or on purpose!
And now they refuse to take responsibility!
I have been trying to sort out this issue since Tuesday but just get a generic reply every 24 hours... It feels as if they are just trying to frustrate me so much that I give up and let it go...
I WILL NEVER BUY FROM GEARBEST AGAIN AND WILL MAKE SURE TO WARN ALL MY FRIENDS ABOUT THEM!

I bought a Fiido D1 bike - very fast delivery to Poland, everything ok, I quickly got the tracking number, the package came very well packed.
I bought many times fronte Gearbest and in my opinion it is the best e-commerce if you want to buy straight from china. The shipping times are far below average (sometimes just ~2 weeks from order to delivery) and the products are 100% original.
Personally, I think Gearbest has very good customer services, they reply to your enquiries within 24 hours and try their best to provide a satisfying solution for both sides.
The reason I grade Grearbest 4/5 is because of the delivery time sometimes take so long. However, that is understandable because most of their stores come from China.

Answer: Some people will get their products, some will not. Some will get what they expected and some will not. I got my products but one was not what they promised and one broke after a few seconds of use. They still continue to use wrong information on their website even though they admitted to me that it is not correct. I wrote a review on their web site about the product that broke after a few seconds of use and they blocked it so it still looks like the product only has positive reviews. Answer: Dont really matter mate, regardless, what they do if does not arrive, they will not refund, they offer to resend at your cost. Then you do Paypal dispute, they refuse to refund unless you close the case, if you close the case, Paypal will not help. In my circumstances Paypal decided in my favour and refunded, but dragged on, avoid this company in future, Bangood better

Answer: Yes Adam, did you pay with PayPal? If Then contact PayPal and claim your money back and stat away from gearbest, they lied to me and now i an trying to get my 100 dollars back. Answer: I would advise you to stear clear. If the site does not let you order with free shipping then you have dodged a bullet. I got free shipping but the product was damaged an only fit for resting your cup on they offered a refund less the first shipping that was ment to be free or a replacement. As it cost 25 pounds to send back to resolve the matter I chose to except the replacement it came and was just as bad a tablet as the first. Take my advice and run a mile.
