I order from gearbest all the time. It's one of the best chinese sites with great customer support. Whenever I have any problem (it does not happen often) I just write them and they will take care of me. Highly recommended
Gearbest sent me an unsolicited message asking me to submit reviews to review sites in return for 300 points per review ($3 off next order).
After replying to their message to show interest, they sent a message to make sure I wasn't unhappy with anything first.
Once I confirmed everything was fine, only then did they send 3 links to review sites. They even added the following:
"For any survey from comments websites, please explain that this is your real objective experience and that you are willing to share this with other people.
(that means: Comments Webmasters admit the review which is not forced to do and no reward for sharing.)"
I understand the 300 points to be a reward so this goes against various terms of these review sites.

I have ordered a product and after a few weeks i contacted them to be informed that the product was out of stock... It should be their job to inform me that this was happening...
But they told me that they wanted to compensate me by changing the shipping method, so it would arrive faster, when the product was available.
After 20 days contacted them again to be informed that they did not changed the shipping method and since the item was already shipped, they could not do anything... Basically they lied...
