I bought a quadcopter through these guys on May 22. Got an email notice that says the order has been shipped on May 26. I thought great. I paid extra for standard shipping instead of the free (read slow) shipping so things looked good. Then I get another email on June 4 saying that my order has been shipped. WTF? Did it ship or not? I've been writing to them through their support page. Here is their last message (June 8):

Thank you for your feedback.

We are so sorry to inform you that your order hasn't been shipped out successfully because for this shipping method, it is strict when passing the customs.

If you don't want it, we will assist you with this.

Please let me know your decision.

I ordered an Jacket from this web site, the order came very fast. I ordered for XL size, I have received a extra small size jacket, when I asked them they are saying that that is our size and they are saying that we kept the size conversion chart in web. In product information they have given as XL, and given that it is 106 cm SIZE, IN SIZE CONVERSION THEY HAVE GIVEN THAT our size XL=86 cm (20 cm difference:-)). Dont buy anything from here, they are not returning the product, I ready to purchase any other product from website with same price. And they took 48 USD for this, and they gave a invoice of 26 USD!"

I am not too sure about this company. I placed an order on 6/3/15 and to date have not received any confirmation like one usually gets when the place an online order. So I have no order number, no tracking number and the the website has no record that it was placed. What I do have is a record that GearBest debited the credit card for the total of my purchase I thought I was placing. I cannot for the life of me get in touch with any one from this company to discuss this and I feel as though I got scammed big time! I do not agree with this method of doing business and I sure hope that I get this matter resolved ASAP

Placed order on May 28. Gearbest sent email on June 3 stating order had been shipped, after 11 days. Now on June 6 the tracking number is stating: "Origin Post is Preparing Shipment". Now 14 days and it has not reached a Post Office yet.
The 24/7 customer service phone number has an answering machine.
The chat line stated there were 19 ahead of me. After waiting almost an hour the chat box froze and i had to close the browser to continue.
I can not at this time say if the merchandise is good or bad or if I will ever receive it.

I would not recommend GearBest to anyone expecting prompt delivery or any customer service.

Do not order from this website. All the positive reviews are scammers! I live in USA in VA and it took me 1 month to receive my phone. They are horrible to deal with. Very poor customer service. They do not care about anything except taking your money. Do not order from gearbest.com please! Save your money and deal with EBAY or craigslist. I got scammed and I want to leave as many negative reviews as possible.

I bought in the store two devices: IPV Mini 2 and Goblin RTA.
While shopping I have no problems in communicating with support, delivery time (3-4 weeks to Russia) and quality devices. All services at a high level.
I recommend this shop because of the good price of the device, large variety various types of devices, high-quality customer support, the ability to pre-order, a good bonus system.

Horrible experience. They cannot give me a more definitive response to my questions,

Let me give you a run down of the timeline:

3/19 - Order Placed on Pre-order
3/28 - Funds removed from account
4/17 - Item still not arrived, inquiry sent
End April - Told item was not in stock, wait til early May
Early May - Told item was actually in stock, mistake made, wait 1 week
5/18 - Told QC check incomplete, told to wait more
5/20 - Told that the item will be shipped the following week
5/29 - Told to wait longer
5/31 - Told to wait longer, there is no stock til early June.

Keep note... to this date... I have WAITED 73 DAYS since Pre-Order, (57 days since the actual release of the item, April 4th). And they still have no answers for me. It's been a heck of a back and fourth. And completely frustrating. Not to mention they still have my funds and are slow to refund.

To save... I wanna say 4 Dollars from somewhere else I could have purchased... not worth the hassle.

DO NOT! I warn you... DO NOT! Buy from this site... You may not ever get your item.

Very fast shipment at gearbest (usually within 2 weeks). You also get to save extra bucks, because you get wholesale prices. E. g "USB Female to Micro USB Male + USB Male OTG Host " comes at $1.34--an android OTG cord that can be used to connect an NTFS External HDD to your android devices, so that drive capacity is no longer a limitation(needs a rooted phone). Great site with quality products at unbeatable wholesale prices!

I had ordered two items. I am tracking one of the orders and it was sent to a state in my country I do not live near. (I live in Illinois and package was sent to Nevada). I called Gear Best and was informed to call USPS to "resolve my issue." I called USPS and they informed me that due to this being an international order and that I am not "the sender... but the receiver" I cannot intercept. My credit card has been charged and these items were at a great price but I paid over $250 for my orders.

I have called, emailed, chatted with Gear Best to no rectifying solution. Pretty much they are telling me (both Gear Best and USPS) that I am SOL. I am not able to file a claim (due to not able to "intercept").

Both orders went out May17th, 2015 and currently the one order is in Nevada.

Can anyone help?

Yo llevo comprando bastante tiempo en Gearbes, he realizado muchas compras con ellos, y debo decir que es una tienda maravillosa, todos sus productos son excelentes, los precios son muy buenos, sus ofertas son grandiosas, tienen todo lo que me gusta, celulares, relojes, tabletas, y muchos productos más. Y todos son de gran calidad. No tengo queja de ellos, la atencion al cliente es perfecta, resuelven cualquier problemita muy rápido y de manera amable. Todas las compras me han llegado en un excelente tiempo y eso que no pago envío porque todo es "free shiping". Estoy encantado con Gearbest, la recomiendo muchísimo.

I was wary about buying anything from so far away ( I am in the UK) but, considering the time difference and distance from me, Gearbest have been fantastic. Support queries were dealt with within 24 hours, which some sites say they will but don't. Alternatives were offered clearly and efficiently and I was kept informed at all times about my order. Tracking was very good and gave me confidence to know my goods were dispatched and were on their way. My quadcopter was delivered in 4 days with expedited delivery which was still way cheaper than other sites. I have now bought a few items from them and they are now high on my shopping list for tech stuff. Highly recommended.

Ordered a phone. It arrived without being set up for international use. Okay, sh! T happens. Contact them. They make you submit a ticket, and it takes about 12-16 hours for them to get back to you. (But they have live help for people BEFORE they buy! A-holes.) So, when they do get back to you, its usually to ask a question or provide some one-word response that doesn't help you at all. (In my case, they wanted ME to jailbreak my phone or some $#*! and void my warranty. When it was their job and their fault that this wasn't set up in the first place.)

So you send another ticket and wait another 12-16 hours, depending on the time of the day that you send it. Then this back and forth happens a few times until finally, and only if your lucky, do they offer to refund you 30% of the actual value (IN GEARBEST MONEY... $#*!s.)

THEN, if you complain it will go up to 50% then 60% etc. Until finally, when you threaten serious legal action do they actually give in. (I even called their vendors telling them to reconsider their business arrangements.)

So then I try and do a re-order and its not right and now I'm starting the entire process over again. It has been, no bullsh! T, a month and I have nothing to show for it.

I submitted a "formal complaint" on their website and the same guy that was handling my ticket responded and "closed" the ticket. A-holes.

DO NOT do business with this company. Seriously. Don't pass this by and think "Oh, well that guy just probably had a bad experience." No. PLEASE take my advice, I'm taking time out of my schedule to write this and I've never written one before -- really!

I grew up working in retail. I went to college and I work in business now. I've seen the good and I've seen the bad and this company is literally (no exaggeration) the abso-$#*!ing-lutely worst company I have ever had to deal with in my entire life.

I bought at GearBest, really a lot of shopping and I ever be very enjoyed, every time when i buy it I get special points whereby i can reduce the price about 1/3 it's amazing! Especially considering it that most Gearbest basic price are the best of all store so when I cut it about 1/3 price is really incredible :)

Love the gadgets

Found this gadget site through a friend and i love it!
I wanted to buy a Xiaomi yi sport camera with my CC and their customer service mailed me that my IP address and the destination of my package are not the same. I was positively shocked that they would also check on this. For i was in a country were the lots of things are blocked, i was very happy that they would check it.
I also recieved my package within 5 workdays. No damaged at all. I am really happy with this site!

I bought three GT-I9600 Android 3 g Phablet 4.4 with 5.0 inch WVGA Screen MTK6572 1.3 GHz Dual Core 4 GB ROM, GPS, Dual Cameras, and all of them failing, as soon as the payment has been blocked by me and does not receive the correspondence. One word aferistai and goods with full description of the imposter $#*!. More here at buy, because anything to do with the melagiais and deceivers have I don't want money to get an item sends a disservice, and then send it to them and they will return to you the amount paid since they cost half the shipment. People think well before buying items here or you they will not deceive these liars...

I didn't discover GearBest until just recently but was amazed at the selection and variety made available. I personally ordered a Smok M80 XPro Plus variable voltage/variable wattage device from the company and was very pleased when I received the product after a very long shipment period (23 days). The shipping rates are a little outrageous if you want your item(s) faster.
What irks me the most about this company is the review/point system where you take the time and effort to submit reviews on their behalf, and they reward you with points that you can only apply a certain percentage of to your entire order (it's capped at 30% of your order cost) and the rest comes out of your pocket. A great way to secure a consumer base, but a very unsettling one when customers realize that it's not a form of appreciation, but a marketing tactic to keep people coming back.
In light of my entire experience, I'm more likely to stick with FastTech than go with GearBest.
