I order an RC boat for my grandson back in June. When it arrived the battery pack was not in the package therefore the boat is useless. They have been telling me for the last 2 weeks that the battery pack is packaged and ready to ship they will send me an email when it is shipped. So far no email and if I ask if it has been shipped I get the same generic response "packaged and ready to ship" My grandson is anxiously waiting to try his boat!

I bought a watch and have been waiting for more than 2 months, it still hasn't arrived.
It was a lie from the start when I asked GearBest when they would send out my item after waiting for a week, they said there would be no stock for 7-10 days and offered a refund back to my PayPal account or buy a different item. But when I requested a refund, suddenly they told me that they had sent out my item which they told me they didn't have stock the day before, why suddenly they had stock. How could you trust GearBest.
Long story short, GearBest now refuses to refund my money into my PayPal account which they offered me at the start, they are only after your money nothing else. I filed the dispute with PayPal and let them deal with GearBest, hopefully, PayPal has enough complaints from customers and stops dealing with GearBest.
Stay away from GearBest if you don't want to loose your money and waste your time.

Gearbest deleted my support ticket and try to hide the evidence but they didn't know that I had copied all the messages. PayPal is dealing with them now, let's see the outcome

I'm still waiting for my mp3 player. I purchased it 35 days ago and it said it takes 3 to 5 business days to ship out and 6-8 business days to arrive. (I'm in the US) I emailed the customer service and they just tell me that it can take longer due to holidays, weather, etc. There were no holidays except 4th of July and no major weather delays. I emailed them twice and they tell me the exact same thing. Now they tell me that sometimes it can take from 45-60 days to receive an item. How ridiculous is that!?! They should have put that right on the item shipping details cause I would have bought it from another seller. I would not buy anything from them ever again!

Bought a pre-sale phone a week before availability!
Day came to ship it, they don't have it in stock.
Told to wait another week or two.
If I hadn't cancelled it would have been at least a month to receive my order.

I received a reply from gearbest stating how sorry they were, and was going to send me 15 usd for my trouble.
So I thought well if they do that I will retract my review, but that too was a lie!
I had to open a dispute with Paypal to receive a refund!

STAY AWAY FROM GEARBEST!
I bough a Yi Cam back in June. After payment I was provided a tracking number that doesn't work (product from China but tracking from Netherland post that doesn't work, suspicious?) after 10 weeks of non receipt the site says that I did not purchase insurance and that's why they refuse full refund. I have opened a dispute with PayPal but they email me daily to ask me cancel th dispute. While they are supposed to communicate formally in paypal's resolution centre. All I can say is this business is SHADY!

I bought a projector from this site as a gift for a friend. It was sent without the power cord and after having to buy my own, it didn't work. I got interrogated in order to return it and was told I'd have to pay for the shipping myself to send it back to China.

I only came to this review website after not receiving a phone I ordered 6 weeks ago. Exactly the same story as all the other "1 star" reviewers. I'm in the process of attempting to get a refund (like hundreds of others no doubt). Notice all the reviews happen to be either 1 star or 5 star with almost nothing in between. Notice also how the company appears to visit this website regularly to reply to frustrated customers. I have placed three orders so far, I have received the first two and the third is still in transit. As far as the one I received, I was very satisfied with the products, surpassed my expectations. I have told all my friends and family about Gearbest and they are all quite impressed.
Placed two orders, said card not verify pls send photo ID, sent ID they cancelled orders and said refund still not received. Made another two orders with verified cards via paypal. Again with no reason order are closed and said refunded. Difficulty communication and complex payments system, nothing in favor for cumtomers.

I used to shopping with only in ebay but one day i thought to try with gearbest because there re lot of cheep items i saw, so i bought one item, item is good as they re describes till now i am shopping with gearbest so far they wont let me down they re custom care is perfect and i am 100% satisfied with gearbest.

I am looking for a decent phone for good money. After reading the recent reviews, I am just not going to do business of any sort with GearBest, even thou, I've found what I wanted. I also found the item/phone on Everbuying.net for practically the same price. I am mentioning this because their website "Everbuying" has even worse reviews. What I would like to ask GearBest is whether those two websites are operated by the same people/company. The reason I ask is because your excuses for bad business sound way too similar to excuses used by Everbuying.net. I am referring to -

This is not meant to be a bad review, you've got enough of them. Thanks to your reviewers I was spared some headaches. But I am still wondering if there is in fact connection between those two websites. Answer from GearBest would be much appreciated.

You need to provide 2 types of documents, the picture of the payer's CREDIT CARD and the payer's ID proof. The pictures should be clear, in color and with a size below 2 MB.
1. The payer's CREDIT CARD picture
Please SHOW the following details:
-the 4 last numbers
-the expiry date
-the cardholder's name
2. A picture proving the payer's ID and displaying his name (in color) such as:
- PASSPORT PHOTO PAGE OR - NATIONAL ID CARD OR - DRIVER LICENSE.

- the full name,
- the expiry date (document must be valid)
- the person's face,
- the person's signature
- the person's address if applicable.
This is not safe. Anyone can read your email attachments. I am in the process of CANCELLING my order.

AT first i didn't believe in the bad reviews, until after a couple orders, They said we cant ship your items with batteries with DHL, I said my first delivery items had battery in the tablet and camera. After that they messed around with my delivery.My expensive items by snail mail and all my cheap $2.00 item by paid express delivery. This was after i sent a email asking express delivery and during check out. WITH SNAIL MAIL theirs a good chance your goods will be Damage goods. There poor packaging of goods offer no protecion.

Answer: Some people will get their products, some will not. Some will get what they expected and some will not. I got my products but one was not what they promised and one broke after a few seconds of use. They still continue to use wrong information on their website even though they admitted to me that it is not correct. Then you do Paypal dispute, they refuse to refund unless you close the case, if you close the case, Paypal will not help.
