Almost immediately, I received an urgent request from GearBest stating that they now admit that my package was "lost during the custom clearance." Not sure why they say "custom clearance" since their shipment was sent from within the US, to the US. At any rate, they offered to re-send my camera, OR, they hoped that I would accept a GearBest credit so that I could buy some other item.
I toyed with the idea of giving them another try at sending another camera, but I found the holding my $122,38 hostage distasteful.
I contacted them and said, ok, re-ship.
PayPal had already abandoned my request that since GearBest wasn't going to make things right, perhaps PayPal should.
So when GearBest wrote back "Could you please help to close the case first so that we can apply for this reshipment? When it is a case situation, we can not apply for the reshipment due to our policy and system." I felt tricked again. PayPal had already shut their case down, so what is this GearBest plea about?
I was still trying to keep my blood-pressure under control when I by chance noticed that my PayPal balance had increased. Turns out, that without notifying me, PayPal reversed my $122.38 payment to GearBest. They offered no information as to why, though I suspect it may have something to do with my sitejabber statement.
I'm pleased, but grumbling, that PayPal finally took the moral high ground. GearBest could learn from them.
I wrote GearBest back and told them I will not be doing business with them in the future *because* they dragged their feet every step of the way. Some people MAY be having success with GearBest. I most certainly did not.
I'm done with the whole issue. I wish others success.

I've bought 2 items of xiaomi piston 3 reddot design, and I'm very satisfied. It came to me for 20 days, because i've ordered free shipping.
I nhave pre-paid but never got an update on shipping. Luckily I paid with PAYPAL so, I will get a full refund anyway.
Don't accept to cancel a complaint before you have been refunded.
GEARBEST is counting on people that will loose interest chasing small amounts for refund. That's their revenue... poor bastards at GEARBEST.
PAYPAL should refuse to deal with them...

- ordered parts 09/08/15, it's now 10/06/15 and i haven't received it yet
- ordered a quadcopter 09/13/15, received 09/25/15, paid express shipping cost. Still the same

I bought a phone from Gearbest.com on 24.09.2015. This was supposed to be delivered to me in India. These crooks have made the delivery in Guangzhou, China itself without delivering it to me. They charged me standard shipping charges and insurance. This is the kind of service I get from this hyped website. My Tracker number is EA*******CN. This tracker shows that the phone is delivered to some DengLaBin, who resides in Guangzhou itself. It shows the honesty these guys want to do business. I put a lot of support tickets and there has been no replies to any of them.
Later, after the holidays, I got to know, they didnt get clearance for export from China for the phone. I asked for refund, and they replied saying, they will refund $50 first, and the remaining on arrival of phone from EMS.
Its almost 20 days, they have neither shipped the phone, taken standard shipping charges + Insurance, and they have still not shipped the phone.
I asked if they can reship it and they said, it can be reshipped through Singapore/China Post after all the charges have been taken from me. I, insisted on refund again and they just bluntly put an email saying that the refund has been processed. It is already 4 days since, they sent this mail, and I have not yet got the refund.
The Bank says, it takes hardly 2-3 days to process. Gearbest is saying it is already processed and lying at bank's end.
We know, who is lying. So I guess, this shows the true picture of the multi-product seller, who is just trying to dupe innocent people. Stay away from it. I advise everyone, to not even visit this website.
I suggest you all buy your things from Aliexpress.com who guarantee your refund in case, anything goes wrong.

So after my review here, a site rep reached out to me to take a closer look at the situation. With her help she was able to get me a full refund and was extremely helpful. Lily was calm, professional and helped me fast which definitely made the experience infinitely better. Thank you so much for the prompt response and making sure I got my refund right away (as promised).

I ordered my item from Gearbest early August and here we are beginning of October and there is no sign of my item. The tracking number they sent me shows that the item was never shipped and when I contacted the company they insisted my item was shipped. They said I could have a refund of 50% which is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard BECAUSE THEY NEVER SHIPPED MY ITEM! Do not give this company your money. Their service and policies are nothing but greedy. If you still feel like giving this company a try be very weary and stay on top of your order.

I ordered an item from Gearbest on 08/18/15 it's now 10/06/15 and I still haven't gotten it. They no longer respond to my ticket that I started to find out what's going on. I've submitted a complaint to the BBB and the company hasn't responded to that either - to my knowledge. They do everything to get your money and then they leave you hanging. I will NEVER buy anything from this company again, or any of there affiliates. Most of the good things I see written about them I've a very hard time believing it's true. I bought a phone for my 9 year old birthday on 6th September. The phone was not working and I had to return it at a cost of £12 by international signed for. Royal Mail states it was delivered on Tuesday 29th Sept. I cannot get anyone to acknowledge receipt or confirm shipping of repair or replacement. Basically I have lost £116 and my daughter's birthday ruined. I buy regularly online and this is the worst company I have dealt with in my life. Stay away - you will lose your money.
UPDATE - After repeated requests for confirmation of receipt of phone and no response, I posted this review and opened a dispute with Paypal. I then had instant and daily communication. Unfortunately the offer of a replacement phone was conditional on me closing the Paypal dispute which I declined as if the case were closed it could not then be reopened. A subsequent offer of a refund was also conditional on closing the Paypal dispute. I again refused and have now escalated to a Paypal claim.

Well there we are I got a refund with PayPal on my credit card for my items never received and made a second complain for my second command which never arrived!
GearBest is asking me now to wait 60 days!... What a joke!
I have open a dispute on PayPal and will make a complain on the European Chamber of Commerce. This company should not be operating in Europe it's a scam! I invite you all to be extremely cautious before loosing your money with GearBest! I also advise you all to do the same and pass on the message on social medias.

The first time I ordered I used my credit card. They sent me an email asking for a picture of my ID and credit card. Of course I refused and asked a refund which was sent rather quickly.
Then I tried another order using Paypal. The tracking number they gave me was invalid and the customer service was completely useless when I told them. But nonetheless, I am happy to report that I have received my item today (12 business days after the order) in perfect shape!
So I must admit they do what they say. I cannot understand for the life of me why they asked me for the pictures. It's really strange and seems to say the least shady.
Bottom line: Use Paypal, ignore the terrible customer service and you should receive your item.

I ordered from Gearbest and was told my package would arrive in 10 days. Never told about any option to pay additional fee for tracking a package. What BS as I have never paid additional to insure someone ships my package I have paid for. When I contact customer service first time they state I will have my package in 25 days. Now the date comes due and they tell me it will be 45 days and then they tell me I should go stand in line at my post office to see if my package was delivered. Also look at the form letter responses from them attempting to disguise customer service. Who are these crazy people. Avoid them at all cost. Now I am out my purchase and no resolution in hand.

Bought watch on 26/7/15 despatched 30/7 still in Heathrow 1 month later - offered 40% refund - after several emails and another month increased it to 60% refund - escalated through PayPal and they offered a full refund IF I stopped PayPal claim - have now been refunded by PayPal
