Have placed a few orders with Gearbest in the past, and my first experience, much like my most recent one, was not a pleasant one. Hands down of all the chinese companies i've ordered from, Gearbest is the slowest to ship, much slower than banggood sellers, focalprice, or aliexpress sellers. My most recent order had the same issue with my first where my order is stuck in a forever 'processing' cycle and it is not marked shipped after more than 2 weeks since the order was placed. Their common excuse is 'the item has been back ordered, please wait 10 days while we bend you over again and apply lube" it's a load of S#it. My most recent order has said 'shipped' but the most valuable object in the order, a tablet, has not shipped yet. This is disheartening as that's really why i bought from gearbest and the rest of the order are just accessories for the tablet. So they 'shipped it' but not the part that is 75% of the cost of the order. And again their response is always the same "we're working on it" "we're quality testing it" "the item has been backordered" I dont mind if the order takes forever to freakin ship, but if it will don't lie on the product page and say "ships within 3-5 business days" that's false advertisement, and wrong. If you, the consumer, do however decide to purchase from this site, use paypal, because paying for something that is never delivered is grounds for a chargeback. And this is my warning to you gearbest, if I do not receive my tablet within 15 days, a solid month after the order was placed, you will force me to refund my purchase via paypal as this would be considered a scam.

In july 2015 I ordered a cellphone from this company and have still not received it ( october2015) only on one occasion I actually received a reply from my email after having sent no less than 8 emails and 6 tickets asking why they have not processed my order.
They informed me they are still in the process stage of my order. When I asked for cancellation and refund they have ignored me completely and have not refunded the money (AU $ 215.00)
Do not believe anything they say because I can assure you can believe every thing that others have said about the dishonest and deceptive practices this company gearbest is becoming famous for.
I have contacted google and requested the GEARBEST website BE TAKEN OFLINE in view of all the complaints online about this company..

I have not had any problems with both my purchases with gearbest, on both occasions the item arrived in 12 days from when I ordered and the items were exactly as described and were much cheaper than any other site selling the same item. Maybe I am one of the lucky ones? And not had any problems from this company, and they always answered my tickets promptly and on many instances I received a reply on the same day I sent the ticket.

I made orders for more than $100/- and it has been 8 days and my order is still in processing status. The credit card is charged. I asked for ETA. No reply.

Tired of no answers from company. Tried to file a claim and was told to give them 15 days for my package to get here. And from what I see that won't happen. Then once those 15 days are up I can start a claim and that may take upto 30. Ha don't waste your time with this site.

It is now over 2 months since I placed an order with GearBest and I do not have my item. First I was told it would be 10-25 days for my item to be delivered, then I was told 45 days, then I was told 60 days, then I was told it would be delivered by October 6 and I still don't have it. I was promised a refund and I don't have that either. Maybe they should change their name to GearYouSuckTheBest.

They took my money saying the payment had gone through then four weeks went by they e-mailed me again said " I need to send them a copy of my drivers license and credit card"! I told them it sounded like a scam. I would not send them my personal info they said it was the only way to stop fraud... ok sure my credit card company actually can police itself on if im me or not. But I promised them I would put out a review like this everyday until I get my 139.99 usd back.So beware innocent consumer do not get taken in by Gearbest or they will take your money and you will not get ANYTHING in return.

Ridiculously long process times, terrible customer service! I filed a PayPal dispute because my items were never shipped, Gearbest then sent my phone accessories I purchased but not the phone itself! They refuse to ship because I filed a PayPal dispute! Why send the accessories and not the phone because the dispute was for both! They are unfairly making me wait 2-3 days even though I canceled both disputes! My order number is WW************** for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 (Advance) Which was never in stock but never noted as such!

Due to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 being so popular and in high demand, the delay was due to production demand at Xiaomi. My order has been shipped, and have been compensated for the inconvenience!

I placed an order for the Teclast X98 Air 3G Tablet Pc from Gearbest on 2nd October. 2015 with DHL shipping. Seeing that the order remained in the processing state, I contacted their live chat and was told because of the National holiday, there would be a delay. I had no problem with that. But then the delay got worse. I made numerous attempts to call their two telephone numbers which never get picked up. In live chat, I was told that the Teclast was out of stock but would be in stock in 2 days. But then after two days it wasn't. I was told it would be in stock on 16th October, then 19th October and today I find it won't be in stock until November. All this time they continue to take orders and fail to mark the item as out of stock on their website because they are holding customers money.
I appreciate that others have had goods delivered by Gearbest but after looking at their facebook page, I think this company is a scam, or just seriously incompetent
I have bought many products from Gearbest and in the most part have not had an issue with the products or shipping (although slow),.
I had written a very negative review (which I am now updating) describing one of my orders and the MANY issues that had gone along with it.
In short I ordered a phone and watch, the watch was DOA and the connection pins in the phone's charging slot broke off when I carefully placed the charging cable in.
At first I was told I would get a credit for the watch, and the option I chose for the phone was to send it back.
A month later no reply and no credit, after chasing them up i was advised the phone was received and would be fixed in 15 days, over several months I continued to get told 15 days, and finally was given the option for a refund.
After 6 months I asked for refund, and was told I would only get 70% back (note still no credit for the watch).
After many tickets opened (and closed their end) as well as being told only 70% would happen I found they ignored me and I was without any working products, credits or funds.
At the end of the 6th month mark I was finally contacted and offered a full refund for both products, a few weeks later I received the refund (9 months after the purchase date).
I am happy everything was sorted out, but had to share this (updated and condensed version of the post).
Again I have had great experiences with gearbest, but this one brought on stress, even a little anger which in my opinion should not have been the case.
Will I shop with them again? Maybe not unless there is a super deal that I can not say not as a regular customer.
Should you? That is up to you! If things work out then you have got yourself a deal and are happy in the end, but if the product is faulty then there is the chance you will go through the same drama as I did, which was not pleasant.

Yes, those guys are the least expensive, but at the cost of countless lost time tracking a package, trying to get in contact with them, and waiting forever for the package to arrive!
They sell stuff they don't have in stock, and then make you wait forever.
I'd rather spend a few dollars more on Amazon and not have to go thru the aggravation!
If you don't mind waiting for close to 1 1/2 month (yes 1.5 month), then you can't go wrong.
Still haven't received my package. Just hope it's not a cheap Chinese knock off, cause that would be the icing on the cake!

I ordered some lights and only half of them came the other half of my order probably got lost but I am very happy that they gave me a full refund within 7 days, I was very surprised that they did not want me to send back the items that I received and just refunded me for the entire order. Very quick customer service even though it was through those tickets that they open for the case. My opinion is that they are too far for the items to be on time plus I know that post offices in Europe loose a lot of packages from the experience I already had with them. Since I already got part of my order in its common sense that they sent it to me but never made it to me because of the third parties. They even sent me a picture of the two packages when they were being sent to me. I know how they look like but one of them never made it to me unfortunately.

I still have not received my order of expedited shipment (3-7 days Delivery) All ticket raised as regards to this order is unreplied/unanswered, The ones shipped is held at custom for incomplete document by Gearbest, said the DHL agent. I have an immediate need for one product sold at Gearbest and I bought one yesterday morning from them. I have been waiting for an email notification for more than 24 hours, that will inform me that they have already shipped my order. I sent them a quick short follow up email earlier.
I then received a reply stating;
"Your order is under quality checking for one week.
You will wait for one week to get your order information."
I have been buying online almost weekly for the past 5 years and I have to say that a popular consumer electronic product that has to be quality checked for one week is bull$#*!. It's likely that they are out of stock of this item now.
Gearbest, indicate in your posting that an item is out of stock. Don't wait for your customer to pay for it and give a bull$#*! reason that it still needs to be quality checked for one week? That's lying.

I bought a scooter worth 480 AUD from gearbest. Should i be worried? I kind of am after reading all the reviews. And i paid by credit card.
Update: i wrote 3 stars to differentiate my review with the other fake ones. And the abundant 1 star.
I ordered from gearbest, but after a week or so, my item never shipped. I asked their reps. 1 person told me the item is under quality check, another 2 people told me the item is out of stock. Then i asked each of them when it will be ready. Each of them gave me a different timeframe. After their response, i decided that i had enough of waiting and asked for a refund. But then again, i was told to wait. And again, each of the reps gave me a different timeframe. I finally contacted my credit card company, ANZ, and filed a complain/fraud report. ANZ told me that they would take care of it. That same night, i got my full refund. NEVER SHOP WITH GEARBEST!
Update: i am now demanding that they remove the picture of my passport and anz credit card from their server. I dont know whether theyre going to actually delete it, im just going to hope for the best. Luckily i already covered everything on my passport except for my name and picture. Hopefully they cant do anything with it. Giving them my passport and anz picture was my own stupidity.

Their faux "rep" Lilly responds to everyone who complains and assures them it will ship, of coarse it never does, so I've contacted the FTC as well as the US Consumer Protection agency and filed a claim with paypal... and we allow trade with China because?

I just bought a uav from them after reading reviews about the product I decided to try and cancel my order. However after 49 mins waiting for there online chat and them closing my resolution tickets and not having a phone number listed on there website ( I did try the one listed on here 15 times with some one heavily breathing on the other side) I strongly recommend finding some place better to shop

I bought an RC Drone from Gearbest and when i got the merchandise it was missing pieces and was used product that did not work. I created 4 customer service tickets stating my issues and followed their directions and sent video and pictures of my package and product, they just close the tickets with no resolution. Now they just keep asking for pictures and then close the tickets with no resolution. I would not but anything again from this company.

Answer: Some people will get their products, some will not. Some will get what they expected and some will not. I got my products but one was not what they promised and one broke after a few seconds of use. They still continue to use wrong information on their website even though they admitted to me that it is not correct. I wrote a review on their web site about the product that broke after a few seconds of use and they blocked it so it still looks like the product only has positive reviews. Answer: Dont really matter mate, regardless, what they do if does not arrive, they will not refund, they offer to resend at your cost. Then you do Paypal dispute, they refuse to refund unless you close the case, if you close the case, Paypal will not help. In my circumstances Paypal decided in my favour and refunded, but dragged on, avoid this company in future, Bangood better

I got free shipping but the product was damaged an only fit for resting your cup on they offered a refund less the first shipping that was ment to be free or a replacement. As it cost 25 pounds to send back to resolve the matter I chose to except the replacement it came and was just as bad a tablet as the first. Take my advice and run a mile.
