Gearbest solicits positive reviews from their happy customers. They actually pay for positive reviews. I could be getting paid right now, but I'd rather get the truth out there. These guys are awful. Just the worst I've ever come across. On November 4, I made a total of three separate orders from Gearbest. One of these orders was made to the US Warehouse. I ordered five items, totaling some $222.00. Each item was said to be in stock and would ship, according to Gearbest, in 1-2 business days. It's now November 19. After posting a dozen or so messages to "customer support", I've come to a few important conclusions. The items I ordered were not in stock. They are not in stock now. They keep telling me, over and over that these items are coming. They are just around the corner. Would I mind waiting? This afternoon, I was done with waiting. I asked Gearbest to cancel my order. They refused, stating that the items have already shipped. I asked another customer service person if this was true. No, nothing has shipped. I began to check reviews of Gearbest. The reviews you want to look for are all one star reviews and they all say roughly the same things. Customer Service is non-existent. You will not ever be refunded your money from a canceled order. You may get a store credit, but it will likely be at a rate of 50% of your order total. There are numerous Gearbest customer complaints filtering through PayPal right now. Don't be one of them. The prices are very attractive and all the positive reviews might lead you to think that you're getting more than what you pay for. Buying from Gearbest is a risky proposition. If you order one of the more popular items, don't expect to get it soon. Half of all the things I've ordered from Gearbest were not in stock. If it's not in stock, you may wait as long as 89 days or more to get it. Just read the one star reviews. They're all true and no one has paid these people to say what they have to say.

They have a fake 5 stars on here, every good review on these review sites are fake. I ordered an item and had to jump through hoops for 20 days until I finally got tired of it. Verifying ID and credit card is acceptable. The website can't send pictures though so if you send it and forget. This company will take your money and act like they don't even remember you. They told me my order number was wrong and it wasn't in the system until I screenshot the order page saying it was STILL PROCESSING. I had to resend I'd and credit card to a billing email then they finally got it. They say they're phones are down and can't contact via landline. I sent a nasty half page email this morning saying I'll be writing a bad review about all they've done... 1 hr later they send me the shipping confirmation letter... So this is in hopes I see my item in 8-15 days.
I can recommend GB for all - I had no problems, items was shipped very fast and with good prices.
My first order(WW**************) from GearBest and everything went well. My RC car arrived with no damage and in good time. Heard GearBest from the youtube and people was pleased with the company and so am I. Prices are good and service also. Going to order some more stuff soon from GearBest.
To put a long story short: My first attempt was to buy a 600-700 item. They took the money promptly, then in a day or two asked for copies of credit card, ID etc. I send those immediately. Then came the silence. Online chat? They have a link, but if anyone could use it without waiting 40+ mins, please let me know. Anyway, finally after 7-8 days they let me know that they are out of stock. I place a cancellation request. Within 24 hours of placing the cancellation request, I hear back from them saying that the item is in stock. And then the case goes cold again until I finally fight back through Paypal and receive refund.
About a month later, I decided to give them the benefit of doubt and went for a $60-70 item this time, in an effort to lower the stakes. This item was supposed to ship in 1-2 days from the US warehouse, bur almost a wekk has passed and yet there is no word of shipping. I just opened another case with Paypal.
Obviously this is going to be my last experiment with gearbest, but you guys could save a lot of time and headache learning from this and NOT USING THEM. BE VERY STRONGLY WARNED!

I bought Rwatch which arrived within the stipulated period of time. They were able to update me on the processing of the order. Guys keep it up.
Ordered "Vapor Tech TA1 26ga Titanium Wire" and "DIY 6 - in - 1 CW Coil Winder Kit RBA Coil Jig Coiling Tool for Electronic Cigarette". Shipping took about 3 weeks to 1 month, The titanium wire is clean, value for money and easy to coil with the coil winder kit that i have ordered. There isn't much machine oil on the titanium wire. The coil winder kit comes with a few types of internal diameter caps for the coils. It is easy to use and the coils that i made with the coil winder are neat and good. However, the box containing the kit, have cracks on the box. I think it was damaged during shipment. But still, worth it for the price paid for."
I want to say that the site has a pretty nice design. Finding the desired position sosotvlyaet not easy. Everything is simple and clear. Our customer service is prompt. No complaints. However, there are complaints about the delivery. I think it could be more operational.
I now have dealed a couple of time with Gearbest and want to give a short review. First of all, Gearbest has one of the best online-shop I know as per width of the dealed stuff, quality and price. Moreover, the bonus program is very competitive and it ensure to get helpfull reviews on nearby any item. I got my order shipped almost next day and the delivery takes about 2 to 3 weeks, what is not an issue as I knew it before. Items come well and safe packaged.
My PROBLEM WITH GEARBEST!
They reply fast when you make enquiries that might lead to sales, but once you get the item, after sales support s not that good.
They sell some good stuff alright, but is that not what they're for?
NOW TO THE BIG PART:
I bought a $214 smartphone from them with 2 years warranty. I got the phone after a long delay before they finally shipped it. I only used the phone for like a month then the screen developed a dead region. I opened multiple support tickets on the issue and could you believe these cons didn't reply me until I opened a PayPal dispute and recorded a video on the fault.
On the PayPal dispute, one of their agents finally spoke out and told me to send the phone back to them with its full package and accessories for a refund. And I did just that. I opened another support ticket asking about the package which had been delivered, but they claimed they haven't received it for another 3 weeks. But finally they confirmed the delivery and asked me to pls close the PayPal dispute so they can easily process the refund. I told them the dispute was already closed and they said good and I'll receive my money in 5-7 days. Now it's close to 14 days now and I still haven't heard a beep. They don't reply my messages anymore. Just went silent. We've been on this refund issue for like 3 months now
Now they have the phone and my money. To sum it up, they trick buyers to close PayPal dispute and go low with your money. If I had another way of pulling these thieves down, I wouldn't mind doing anything.
Another thing they do is; they tell you ' Due to a system bug, the ticket was closed'. But think of it, the bug only closes when you've reached an agreement on a refund. It only closes when they are supposed to pay.
SOLVED!
In November, an agent sent me a message that i will receive my refund in a few days and I successfully received it.
I was also compensated for the bad experience on that order. Now it turned out that some (not all) of the Gearbest staff don't take aftersales / returns seriously.
About the part where they ask you to close the Paypal Dispute, i guess its a way of protecting their name... I hope they always stick to the agreement and refund on time.

Heard about Gearbest through some friends of mine who had done previous purchases on this site. They had been recommending it to me for ages and finally gave it a go. Bought an incredibly CHEAP phone for my boyfriend with AWESOME specs. I didn't believe it until the package arrived at my door. Also I used the EU warehouse and didn't pay any customs that I would have to pay if I used the Chinese warehouse.

A couple of months ago I ordered a phone from Gearbest. I chose the retailer because they sold it for the lowest price I could find and had it in their European warehouse (which I think of as a necessity, the risk of customs, taxes and long shipping times make ordering from China a personal no-no for me.)
So, I placed my order and paid via PayPal. Order was marked as ''Payment verified'' on my profile page, and the next day it was shipped out. I did have some problems with parcel tracking, but that was mainly just the delivery service's fault. Tracking worked, but was kinda delayed. In any case, the package was obviously moving without the tracking too and arrived on my doorstep a week after my payment. The phone was safely packaged and worked without any issues.
The quick experience I had with Gearbest's customer support was also positive. I contacted them through their ticket system asking if I could still change the color of the phone I had ordered. The reply came quickly and in good English, but unfortunately the other color variant was already sold out.
My overall experience with Gearbest was still a very positive one. Aside of the tracking issue I can't really come up with other complaints. I could and have recommended them to my friends, and I'll probably buy from them again myself.
It is my like third Mi Band activity tracker, first was for me second for my wife and now i buy another one for my mom. Probably buy more for Xmas all because the prize + additional discounts using points and free shipping. Well i recommend purchases in that shop it is like heaven for good prize seekers:)

Answer: Some people will get their products, some will not. Some will get what they expected and some will not. I got my products but one was not what they promised and one broke after a few seconds of use. They still continue to use wrong information on their website even though they admitted to me that it is not correct. I wrote a review on their web site about the product that broke after a few seconds of use and they blocked it so it still looks like the product only has positive reviews. Answer: Dont really matter mate, regardless, what they do if does not arrive, they will not refund, they offer to resend at your cost. Then you do Paypal dispute, they refuse to refund unless you close the case, if you close the case, Paypal will not help. In my circumstances Paypal decided in my favour and refunded, but dragged on, avoid this company in future, Bangood better

Answer: I would advise you to stear clear. If the site does not let you order with free shipping then you have dodged a bullet. I got free shipping but the product was damaged an only fit for resting your cup on they offered a refund less the first shipping that was ment to be free or a replacement. As it cost 25 pounds to send back to resolve the matter I chose to except the replacement it came and was just as bad a tablet as the first. Take my advice and run a mile.
