I've seen some negative reviews about GearBest but my experience with them was very positive.
I purchased a smartphone from the GearBest site. After I made the payment via PayPal, GearBest sent me an email and informed me that my original choice was not available due to supply issues at the manufacturer and there was a delay on shipping. I did not have a good feeling about that.
The GearBest service team then contacted me again and advised me about the different options (choose an alternative, store credit or a refund). This was a nice, pro-active move on their part and gave me some confidence.
I took another look at their stock and found a different smartphone which was better AND cheaper than my original choice so I contacted them to change my order.
The order was changed within 24 hours and the item was packed and shipped within 48 hours. Then they asked me what I would like to do with the remaining credit on my GearBest account. I asked them to refund it to my PayPal account and I had the money back in my PayPal account with 5 days. I was NOT forced to only have store credit on my GearBest account like some people have claimed.
The package was shipped to Europe via DHL with a pre-agreed customs value and I received it within 10 days. The phone is very good quality with no pre-installed malware, bloatware or spam.
In short, I was pleasantly surprised by my GearBest experience. Lots of help, no fuss and no hidden surprises. I would definitely purchase from them again.
By the way, I can imagine that there are some cynics out there who will say "You're probably a GearBest employee" or "You've been paid to write a positive review" but they would be wrong. I'm a tech-lover who knows that products are over-priced in Europe and also knows a bargain when he sees one.
My advice would be to do a little research when purchasing your products, know what to expect with regards to processing and shipping times and be patient. For these prices, I'm prepared to stick with GearBest for now.

I order a 3-D wireframe lamp. It arrived on time just as it said. However the only thing that was in the box was the pane of laser etched glass. No stand, no cables, no actual light. I double checked to see if maybe I had just bought the glass, but nope I was just missing practically all of the pieces. I sent in a complaint and the average response time for each E-mail is roughly 24-48 hours. After all the back and forth is done now weeks later I arrive at the choice of a $2 refund, which is nothing, or they can send me the missing pieces. I choose to not take the painfully sad "refund". They tell me it will have to have this approved which might take 3 business days and then the will ship out the missing parts. Which was fine until they told me how long that would take, 25-30 business days. It's great they are willing to help me, but this was a birthday gift. So needless to say I will avoid them in the future if at all possible, because it didn't seem like they were very concerned with my happiness just my money.
I have good & bad experiences with gearbest, the first time I made transaction with them is not quite successful, I've waited for two months for my order to arrive but it didn't happen. Luckily, they have given me a full refund. The second transaction didn't also turned out very well, I've also waited for 1 and a half month before a received my order, and now I'm looking forward to receive my pending order. Hopefully I'll receive it soon.
If you want your money to be thrown away, this is the company to shop with. I ordered smartwatch batteries (item# W**************) and after 8 days it is still "processing." They promised 3 to 5 business days, but I emailed them twice. No response. Really pathetic. Forget shopping here. This is my 4th time experiencing delays. This is not acceptable!

Gearbest is a pretty good site.The i ordered two knives that were sold out on other sites and were priced much lower.he sipping was fairly quick, two weeks, given that my order shipped out of a china warehouse. When my package arrived, they were of good quality. There was no issues with my payment or shipping everything was smooth. I will continue to order from gear best as long as they continue to do good work.

Ordered from Gearbest 2 times. Both times all the items I ordered came to me and everything was ok. Shipping time was about 30 days, which is pretty long time, but it's normal for an international orders. Shopping on this site already saved me lots of money. I have purchased more then 30 items from gearbest and received all items within the stated time except one that got lost. I was refunded for that item after 2 months of begging. They have very fast customer service that responds to you right away but either they are a complete bunch of idiots or they have a terrible translater from English to Chinese
This was an impulse buy from a Facebook Ad, which has gone from bad to bloody stupid on the part of Gearbest's so called Customer Service.
PC arrived without its Barrel Connector Power Supply. Raised a ticket was told they would ship a replacement although they seemed to think I should raised a claim with my shipper (how? I didn't ship it).
A UK power adaptor turned up like one of those travel plugs. Cannot plug that in. They then proceeded to ignore anything I said and kept saying I had received the plug and closed the call:
"Checked the order, we find the uk plug we provided is what we have resent to you."
Repened the call and got the following message back:
"... our colleague has applied to resend a new UK adapter to you."
My second call contained: "The attached picture is of a UK plug adapter. THIS NOT something I can plug into the Voyo V2 Mini PC. I need a barrel connector power supply that comes with the PC, which you failed to provide the first time round!"
If they had bothered to read the call they would know that the UK plug does not help me in the slightest! It is like talking to a brick wall.

Answer: Some people will get their products, some will not. Some will get what they expected and some will not. I got my products but one was not what they promised and one broke after a few seconds of use. They still continue to use wrong information on their website even though they admitted to me that it is not correct. I wrote a review on their web site about the product that broke after a few seconds of use and they blocked it so it still looks like the product only has positive reviews. Answer: Dont really matter mate, regardless, what they do if does not arrive, they will not refund, they offer to resend at your cost. Then you do Paypal dispute, they refuse to refund unless you close the case, if you close the case, Paypal will not help. In my circumstances Paypal decided in my favour and refunded, but dragged on, avoid this company in future, Bangood better

Answer: You can try the Better Business Bureau like I did however they never responded to them either, they did respond to the tickets I opened up on their site but the replies weren't of much use and not very helpful.

Answer: I would advise you to stear clear. If the site does not let you order with free shipping then you have dodged a bullet. I got free shipping but the product was damaged an only fit for resting your cup on they offered a refund less the first shipping that was ment to be free or a replacement. As it cost 25 pounds to send back to resolve the matter I chose to except the replacement it came and was just as bad a tablet as the first. Take my advice and run a mile.
