Ordered mobile from EU warehouse for UK delivery so that there is no need to pay VAT or excise duty.
Surprised to receive it from the far East by DHL. A week later received invoice from DHL to pay customs charges.
Contacted Gearbest who say that EU warehouse was out of stock so they shipped from China warehouse and now refuse to pay the DHL charge. Did not inform me that EU warehouse was out of stock.
Be warned.
Other people have responded to me to say that this is how they behave when things go wrong with them. I am now taking this to Trading Standards in the UK.

I received a product with a defect in it's operation, but I was only offered a $10.00 credit towards purchasing a new product, despite paying $60.00 for the defective product. They do not have any intentions of addressing any issues regarding problems with their products. DO NOT TRUST

I ordered an action cam. It didnt charge so could not be used. They forgot to sent an extra ordered battery. Customer service is rude and charge a lot of money for a replacement. They censor the reviews in their website. Be very careful!

I've been ordering from gearbest for about 2 years now. I've never been dissapointed by them. When you have questions about the order, the costumer service replies within 24 hours; thats my experience.
The prizes which gearbest offers are competitive and usually alot cheaper than others!
Last order it was shipped within 24 hours and i received it within just 8 days to the Netherlands! Which is great!
I would recommend gearbest for online shopping. It doens't always arrive within 8 days, but if you need it in a hurry you shouldn't be buying your items in China anyway, haha!
I made a couple of orders in your store. I liked the fact that you are selling mostly original, not fake branded goods. For example Xiaomi. All items at my order is working. I used it a few month all work fine.
GearBest is a great shop with very low prices for original products.

Parcels are well packed and were shipped out very quick.

Only thing to remember is that everything ships from China, so it'll take ~3weeks to get your stuff. Else it's great!

I got my products but one was not what they promised and one broke after a few seconds of use. They still continue to use wrong information on their website even though they admitted to me that it is not correct. Answer: Dont really matter mate, regardless, what they do if does not arrive, they will not refund, they offer to resend at your cost. Then you do Paypal dispute, they refuse to refund unless you close the case, if you close the case, Paypal will not help. In my circumstances Paypal decided in my favour and refunded, but dragged on, avoid this company in future, Bangood better

Answer: Yes Adam, did you pay with PayPal? If Then contact PayPal and claim your money back and stat away from gearbest, they lied to me and now i an trying to get my 100 dollars back. Answer: I would advise you to stear clear. If the site does not let you order with free shipping then you have dodged a bullet. I got free shipping but the product was damaged an only fit for resting your cup on they offered a refund less the first shipping that was ment to be free or a replacement. As it cost 25 pounds to send back to resolve the matter I chose to except the replacement it came and was just as bad a tablet as the first. Take my advice and run a mile.
