It would have been nice if I had received the service I've seen in most of these reviews. I placed an order for a $70 item on 1/17 and still have not received my order. I looked at their website several times over 3 days and they still had not completed the "Dispatched" step. I emailed them and the next day they said they shipped it. I didn't get a notice that it was shipped 2 days later. I still have not received my order. I am unhappy because they lied to me about shipping and my order is way overdue. I never had this problem with other online retailers, so this is my one and only purchase from GB. This is why I hate buying things online. I like dealing with humans face to face so they can't hide behind their emails and automated phone systems..
I 'm buying online since 2009 and Gearbest really surprised at the fast response rates and customer service. My first purchase was " Xiaomi Yi cam" with accessories, the office was quick and the reception like wine all in very good condition. The products are 100% original and not repaired as other stores sell! Greetings!

Wish I had read some of these reviews first. I saw an item I had wanted so decided to take the plunge and purchase it. Tried to create an account, could not. Created a ticket and logged a complaint but to no avail since it has been more than a week now and no response despite their <24hr response policy. But then when I refreshed the page I saw I had account access. Never did receive a confirmation email for the creation of the account mind you. I should have stopped there but decided to make the purchase anyway. Never did I receive a confirmation email for the purchase nor shipping information. Of course they were more than happy to take my money though. I submitted another ticket stating the same problem outlined above and either resolve the issue or refund my money but have not heard from them. Save your money and forget about ordering from this site.
UPDATE: 2/9/2016 I have seen, as I am sure everyone else has by now, an automated response generated by posting any poor reviews from gearbest. Even though I knew it to be futile I messaged them through their gearbest posting to see if I can at least get a response. To this date nothing yet. In the meantime I have been creating tickets, just about one each day on the gearbest website and copying one from each day to the next and putting a time stamp on it so they know how many times I have been doing it. Guess what, still nothing. Ask yourself, if the positive reviews are so outstanding for all these reviews then why can they not respond to one simple request? Do not fall for their falsely generated reviews they create themselves. I guess I am lucky I only spent a few dollars as a test to see how they are. And one more thing, beware of the charges. They charged me an extra $0.10 for a shipping charge when there was no where in the billing statement that mentioned I would be charged that money. Small amount it may seem to others but it is the principle of the matter

I ordered many times and now it is time to give back a bit. This eshop is amazing, best prices, excellent service and fast delivery to Germany. About 10-12 days from ordering to get my ordered goods.
All of my friends are ordereing now directly in China. It is so easy and fast. I am very happy with them.
Their customers service is the worstest you can immagine, they have not idea, you get always the same answer, I'm sure they take not care. I'm waiting since more than 1 month my order, only now they say maybe is lost, nevertheless I get not my money, I must open a PayPal enquiry and maybe I must wait 2 weeks more for my money, never again! There are a lot of shops out there, and they are much better than Gearbest, faster, Faire and with a customer service. Note 1 every 4 has given 1 Star, more than 25% this say everythink!

I got suspicious when it proved to be IMPOSSIBLE to make a purchase on the site. They force you to "register," but while other merchants simply proceed immediately to checkout, "GearBest" forces you to wait for a confirmation E-mail. That E-mail is never sent, even if you use the "re-send" function.
So I started an online chat, during which the representative suggested nonsensical steps like using another browser or clearing my cache. That's obviously not going to change the fact that THEY didn't send an E-mail. When asked to confirm my account manually, the rep again said to use another browser. Then I called him out on it, and he said I'd get the E-mail within the hour. NOPE.
Needless to say I bought the articles elsewhere.
There seems to be a growing number of these sites that pretend to sell a huge number of items in order to capture search traffic, but then don't actually conduct business. The perplexing part is that in many cases they don't even get your credit-card info. Is it all just an elaborate E-mail-address-harvesting scheme? Don't waste your time finding out.
UPDATE: Thanks for replying, but NO, I will not give you my E-mail address for the third time. I provided it on the site, and I provided it again to during my online chat with the representative. This "confirmation" method, and the inability to check out as A GUEST, makes your site inferior to others and unacceptable.
Not to mention your OBVIOUSLY FAKE REVIEWS. Look at them; they're embarrassing. And they insult every reader, since you're calling everyone stupid enough to believe them. That's why there's a warning about your site on ratings sites, telling everyone that you post fake reviews and are probably scammers.

I found there many great products with best prices, also delivery time is nice and customer service respond well and on time.
The first time I bought on this site. I am pleased with the work site. I bought a lot, the next day was sent. And only on the website give a picture sent by parcel. Therefore, there is a guarantee that the purchase actually sent. Fast delivery. Overall, I was pleased with the work shop. I recommend this store
DO NOT BUY! That is all I can say. You can just hope that paypal or your bank will chargeback them back and you don't loose any money. They are just a bunch of thieves. Yes they did "ship" my order quite fast and yes they did send a bloody picture. Great! I won't see any bloody mobile! It should be in my city since the 11th of December and they keep telling me to pick it up in my local post office. It is 1st of February already! I live in London so they would deliver! Not me picking up. I called the post office and they can't track anything without a tracking number that the seller should have! PLus the post office just keep items for 18 days. And these bunch of thieves won't listen! All those positive 5 stars comments are FAKE! JUST FAKE!

He made more than 10 orders, all of it within a month, the normal package of the conditions of transportation through the Russian Post. Sending usually 3-5 days. Purchases of excellent quality, all consistent with the description of the lot on the site. Thank Gearbest!
I have made a order and paid for it over 25 days ago and I have not received anything yet.
The customer service reps or robots just keep telling me to wait.
They wont refund my item or refund shipping and they wont give clear answers on what is going on.

I'll try to make this as concise as possible, though the situation ended up being rather complicated.
I tried to order some batteries for a quadcopter I own from the GB site. They were listed as in stock, but were not. They did not contact me to let me know this fact, even though I had paid nearly $15 in expedited shipping. I found out by contacting them after the batteries not shipping for over a week. When I made contact I was told it would take a week for them to be back in stock. I wait that week, and of course the were not back in stock and told that it would take another week. I elected to get a refund instead, which they did process very quickly.
Given all the above issues Gearbest elected to offer me a $10 credit for the issues I had with my order and have since actually given the credit.
There were some other issues that are rather complicated. One suggestion I will make is for them to update/improve their on site messaging system. It can be rather confusing at times, and can look as if they've deleted complaint or support tickets when they may not have. I know I've read at least one other review complaining of the same thing.
All in all though, they did do their best to make the situation right, and give my account the $10 credit so while I would still be wary and ask customer support if an item is actually in stock before making a purchase, it does seem that if you have an issue they will deal with it if you stay on them.
I highly reccomend Gearbest! They are a great seller.

The products are what they say they are, shipping is usually free.
When you buy you get an e-mail confirming your buy ("you're order number W************** is being processed", and another email when they ship it.
Costumer service are great! Usually respond in a day or two and very helpful.
Received the wrong color for an iphone caseholder worth 30 bucks. Wanted a replacement. Was told this is a very small mistake so we can offer you a 10% refund as gearbest points. What a joke! This website is a rip-off. Please never order anything from here.
Update: I reached out to Gearbest for replacement/return but this is the reply I got from them:
This defect is small (sending a different colored product than ordered is small!). Since the defect is small only 10% refund of the product cost will be provided and that too in the form of gearbest wallet! And to get the refund I have to pay for shipping.
So I didn't do any mistake, I ordered a product with a color I wanted and I have to pay for shipping to only get 10% refund of the initial payment I made for the product and that too in gearbest credit.
Wow this website is such a big scam. Stay away from this sham website guys. What do you think, Is this justified? I am also reporting this website to better business bureau.

Gearbest initially ignored warranty on item (car bluetooth transmitter USB charger that was DOA), support did this by making it difficult to claim but after complaining on Sitejabber a Gearbest manager become involved reviewed my claim and then apologised making an offer of a replacement item or a full refund.
This may happen in a lot of companies when a manger becomes involved over support staff that give you the run around.
I'm now satisfied with Gearbest and will continue to deal with them because generally they are reasonably good.

I'm sure most of the 5 star reviews here are fake, read them and you'll see that they are mostly fake. Do not purchase from this company; you'll be lucky if you receive your item, if not, you'll be lucky to get your money back. I have all the details and communication logs to detail what happened, below are the main points.
Item ordered 12/3/2015; item shows in stock and ships within 3-5 business days. Estimated shipping is 7-10 business days. Therefore I expect it to arrive around Christmas.
After more than 5 business days the item still does not show shipped; I opened a ticket to ask. They claim item is out of stock and asked me to wait, pick another item (I would pay the difference), or they'll give me store credit. In the meantime the website still shows the item is in stock and ships within 3-5 days.
I chose another item that they confirmed is in stock.
2 Days pass and I still didn't get shipping confirmation; knowing that it would result in a significant delay beyond Christmas I email them that if the order was not already shipped to cancel the order and refund me in full.
The next day, the item miraculously changed to shipped with a tracking number.
Item never comes, I contacted multiple times and they keep repeating the same shipping tracking number which was shipped to somewhere in China and NOT to the USA.
They claim to be contacting the shipping company to see why it didn't arrive.
I initiate Paypal dispute as it was now over 1 month and I have no item and Gearbest was still looking into it. Gearbest never responds to paypal or to me.
After a week I upgraded to paypal claim; miraculously Gearbest provides a different tracking number which ALSO ships to CHINA and not the USA.
Paypal sides with me and refunds my money. Only then did they respond with apologizes. Took about 8 weeks to get my money back.
So, they continue to list items they don't have in stock. When items are not in stock they won't refund money and only issues credit. They generate bogus tracking numbers to stall and try to prove they shipped items. Does not respond to inquiries except with lies. If it wasn't for Paypal, I'd be out of 80+ dollars.
Update: May 2016
Based on these reviews, Gearbest contacted me and gave me additional credit into my account. They've asked me to give them another chance and to remove these reviews. I'm unwilling to put more of my own money on the line so I chose an item which cost less than the credit provided to me. However, it only allows me to use a small amount of the credit in my account towards the purchase (about $2 of the $10 item cost; I have >$10 credit). So the credit provided to me is not useful; it's somewhat dishonest to provide credit to prove that your services have improved... only to not allow me to use the credit.

I am writing my terrible experience with Gearbest.
On oct, 2015, I purchased a Zenfone 2 from Gearbest and paid through Paypal.
In one week, I wanted to return because of overheating issue and contacted Gearbest and Paypal.
The address Gearbest gave to me is somewhere in China, and Gearbest insisted that they only refund me when they receive the item. They also asked for tracking number.
So I paid $80 dollar to ship the phone to China, and as of today, I do not receive anything!
The tracking number shows it has been on-hold.
When I call the Carrier and was told that the item may already be received but not updated. That is quite common in China!
Neither Gearbest nor Paypal would bother to do anything in several month!
Do not buy things from Gearbest if you may want to return it.
You need to return items to China on your cost. And possibly the item will be disappear and have no way to track. Even you have a tracking number.

Items sold from this site are knock offs made from knock offs! Customer service at GB will respond only from a pre-written message. Plus, you can only contact customer service through their message system only! If you have a problem, you send a message, important parts get deleted right away to keep you from filing a claim with Paypal! It only gets worse! They will not give you a refund, only store credit. Its really bad! Even if you decide not to shop their anymore, they will still keep your money! Beware!

I ordered a hover board to be delivered to the uk and it told me 10-25 days. 25 days went and they told me 10 days. 10 days went and they told me 15 days and I still have not got my purchase! Ridiculous service and I am not happy!

Answer: Some people will get their products, some will not. Some will get what they expected and some will not. I got my products but one was not what they promised and one broke after a few seconds of use. They still continue to use wrong information on their website even though they admitted to me that it is not correct. I wrote a review on their web site about the product that broke after a few seconds of use and they blocked it so it still looks like the product only has positive reviews.
