I bought three new he appliance. Two new he profile refrigerators and one he dish washer. One of the refrigerators didn't cool. Brand new out of the box with stickers indicating they have passed all inspections. Been trying to get it repaired for over a month. Their service department is terrible, changes appointments and sometime never show up. Once they Indicated they tried to call twice, which was a down right lie. I will never buy another he product as long as I live. Screw GE
I had problems right out the gate with my refrigerator was damaged upon delivery of the refrigerator I purchased, it was damaged, with a dent in the door so the delivery person took it back I received a different one a week later, it was also dented, the took that one back and the came with a third one it was dented, so I agree for them to replace the panel, a year and a half later the ice and water dispenser stop working they said it was not covered by the warranty, ok so I paid $300.00 to have it repaired, then 6months after that it went out again, that was another $300.00 so a year after the second repair it out again, I called GE thinking maybe it a recall or maybe it need to be a recall part, no help from them they didn't even seem to care, I will never ever buy anything GE and I will let the world know don't buy GE! It just myself and my husband in the house so we are rarely using the ice and water dispenser Even the repair technician said that GE products are a bad purchase.
Stay away from GE products not only for the product to not perform but for the worst customer service as well when you have a problem. I bought a brand new home in April and my washing machine stopped working 1 week after moving in. Repair man told me it needed a new panel which burned out. After 6 weeks waiting for part and install the new part was finally installed and the machine STILL DID NOT WORK!. # more weeks go by for me waiting for GE to make a decision if they were going to replace. YES,, now 2 mos without ability to do laundry in my BRAND NEW HOME! New machine comes mid JUne only to now sound like a 1920's sewing machine. Repair man comes back and CANT fix and now today(JULY 18 2022) GE's response to me is the following,,, me the consumer needs to find a repair man because they cant fix my machine and they will reimburse me! What? The burden is now on me? If something else goes wrong i will be giving GE and opprtunity to blame someone else that i hired so they dont have to fix or replace the unit? In summery,,, first machine replaced after 2 mos and new machine is not working properly and GE wants me to fix! Customer service and product to worst!
On Saturday 16-Jul-2022, I scheduled an emergency service with PULS (GE appliances) for Sunday (17-Jul-2022). Saturday at 10:00PM they replied that due to high demand in my area they advised that we reschedule. We were very unhappy about this and we rescheduled for Monday 18-Jul-2022. Sunday night, we received another cancelation due to high demand.
This is very unprofessional as we indicated the nature of our service request was an emergency.
Never buy from GE there washer machine doesn't work right. Been dealing with them for three yr and they change out my washer machine three times and still doesn't work right. There customer don't care and you can't talk to corporate and there higher supposedly upper management dont care either
Poor, poor, poor. Overcharged my credit card by over $100. Sent texts all week reminding ME to be ready for my delivery. And THEY CANCELLED it the night before. They rescheduled for what was convenient for them, not for me. I cancelled the whole order... The 1st lady said she cancelled it and no money charged since nothing in route to me. Well I received a delivery of the small appliances, they were left out in the rain by FedEx. 5 days later, Second person FINALLY refunded the microwave and additional money that they charged in error but won't refund the small appliances until they arrive back at their facility. I need to go out of my way to send them back, although they shouldn't have been sent to me. BTW, the first line of crap they said was it was delayed from the originating warehouse, well that originating warehouse happens to be the next town over! What did they need to send it across the country and back? It can't just go to the next town over? If GE wants to be a reputable company then they need to get a better billing department to bill properly, customer service that doesn't lie and also follows through on their promises. I WILL NOT BE ORDERING THROUGH THEM AGAIN.
On March 15,2022 GE Appliances double charged may account for service received. After about 4 hours of phone calls (including wait times) all with very kind people that took a long time to figure out what was going on and proved in no way helpful in the end, with 2 emails assuring me that the reversal has been processed, and 2 opposing notions of how long a billing cycle is, it has now been almost 4 months and I still don't have the money back in my account. Everybody I have spoken to has been very kind, but GE Appliances Customer Service is totally incapable of performing a very basic refund. The communication within the company is abysmal. The customer services representatives are inept.
One reason G. E. buyers get lousy customer service. He doesn't relate to the average working family. If he did, G. E. would have parts in stock for repairs. My second G. E. refrigerator breakdown and I am expected to wait from July 7 until August 30 in the heat of Arizona summer for two parts. Terrible overpaid, uncaring management. And yes I paid $191.00 for a G. E. Service repair that didn't fix the problem. Nobody at G. E. cares because the CEO sets the standard and he obviously doesn't care. They got my money though.

Bought and installed a new GE gas dryer model PTD60GBSRWS in December 2021. The mother board went out in May, 2022. Repair tech advised the part was back ordered. New repair date scheduled for July 5,2022. No contact from GE or call scheduled. When I called to ask when the tech would arrive I was told the repair was suspended, the part is still in back ordered and won't be available until August, 2022. Nobody bothered to tell me. Our house has been sold and we close soon. This lack of communication is wreaking havoc for us. No dryer for months and a compromised house closing. GE has failed big time both in terms of product and customer service.
Wort ever customer service. My washer and dryer has not work since the day it was bought. Under warranty. Women who bought it had several calls in got a new motherboard. I bought house. Did not work since day I moved in. Fills with water and stop with all close full of soap. The 7th repairman is coming Thursday. They can't find anything wrong with it so now they may close the case. What. Do not buy GE. Customer service does nothing. How can you send 7 men out and not replace it!
PLEASE DON'T BUY GE APPLIANCES. WE BOUGHT A 'CAFE APPLIANCES' MICROWAVE, REFRIGERATOR, OVEN WASHER& DRYER AND DISHWASHERS. WHEN THE DISHWASHER DELIVERED THEY TESTED THE DISPLAY IS NEVER SHOW. THEY TRYING TO REPAIR 5 MONTHS AND CANNOT FIXED IT. THEY GOT IT TO WORK SOMEWHAT BUT STILL DOESENT DISPLAY CLEAN AT END OF CYCLE. WHEN THEY TRYING TO REPAIR RUINING OUR CABINETS BECAUSE OF TAKING OUT AND PUTTING BACK THE DISHWASHER LIKED 5 TIMES. AFTER TRYING AND THEY CANNOT FIXED GE SAID ' IT'S A COSMETICS THINGS' WHICH IS NOT UNDER WARRANTY AND WE HAVE TO LIVE WITH THAT. MY HUSBAND BEEN USING GE APPLIANCES ONLY FOR ALL HIS LIFE. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR LOYAL CUSTOMERS SO THIS IS THE LAST TIME USING GE.
Been without a fridge/freezer for 1 month now and no one at GE seems to know where my part (compressor) is. Absolutely horrific customer support here.
I bought a brand new fridge at Home Depot and it broke 14 days later. Now going on day 30 without a replacement as company of course wants to "try to fix it" instead of giving me a new one. I could have had my unit fixed by a local company 3 weeks ago but yet here we are with no solution.

Just bought 6 weeks ago a ge microwave. It's the 3rd one in 20 years. The model I have is counter top or under cabinet. It's an optional bracket kit with 2 brackets and 4 screws. There are 4 holes on top of microwave. So I have had problems with it since I bought it. Pf code on clock. Turntable does not turn most of the time. Some items cook some hardly at all. So called ge and had a service tech out on 6-19-22 or whatever friday was. Texh comes into my house and says I have never seen a microwave installed this way. I said this is the 3rd one I have installed.he would not believe me and said how long are those screws. I don't know they came with the bracket kit.he proceeds to show me the parts diagram. Then he says I don't see any screws. I said there are 4 plastic plugs where the screws go. He proceeded not to believe me. I stated the bracket kit again.its designed this way to hang it.he was in a mood when he came in my house.the guy was concerning me as I thought he was going to punch me.he never checked the microwave. I told him to get the f out. Now how is it appropriate for ge to send a nut bag individual to your house and intimidate the client. Really I am handicapped and get treated this way! I have a new case number assigned by ge. I also called a week before to schedule this nut bag. I was told by customer service rep that I could have it repaired or they could send a new one. Called filed my complaint yesterday.the gal said repair only and they would not send a new one. Now why 2 different stories? I figure the tech did not want to take the time to unscrew it. I would enjoy if he gets fired. Ge has all my info. I will never ever ever ever buy ge again. Regards
Horrific experience. Purchased my appliance 2 weeks ago and already needed a repair. Technician never showed. They rescheduled me for a week later without even attempting to contact me after I was placed on hold for 10 minutes then hung up on by the customer service agent. Try another brand(be careful because they own a few brands).
I WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF I COULD. DO NOT BUY A GE APPLIANCE I got my brand new $7k fridge, plugged it in and it does not cool at all. Nothing. Called service they state I have to wait up to 48 hrs to get a call from a technician. I wait, no call. Call them back they say the tech asked to reassign the service to someone else, and the customer service dept says its up to me to let them know I did not receive a call. I now have to wait another 48 hours for another tech to call, and lets be real it could happen all over again. I ask to escalate the matter and speak to a manager, they say there is not department like that, that they can create a escalation ticket but I will have to wait up to 72 hours to hear from a manager. I have no fridge, and believe me GE Canada could care less, they have your money and will not help in any way. STAY AWAY, AND DO NO BUY APPLIANCES FROM CANADIAN APPLIANCE SOURCE either, they are absolutely no help at all, they have my money (Spent of $20k on appliance there) now I am on my own. I am not posting proof but if you want to call me I would happily send you proof (service ref # *******181)
We moved to a new house with a GE built in microwave. The door latch stopped working after a couple of years. We went to an appliance store to get another one to fit the cabinet. Had to get the latest model. Less than a year later i was heating something and the cover on the magnetron CAUGHT ON FIRE! We thought we got a lemon so we got another. IT ALSO CAUGHT ON FIRE! Like it made a funny noise, sparked and there was a red ember on the cover of the magnetron (which looks and feels like cardboard). These should be recalled IMMEDIATELY!
Do not buy GE washer or dryers. All of their products are defect they are senting old defect product to their customers. You will regret it. It will be a headache trying to get a Technician out to fix it When it takes two to three weeks to come out to fix the new broken products you just bought.

Answer: Yes. I have repeatedly experienced this problem for the past 5 years on my 5 year old GE Refrigerator. Using your fist or a mallet, strongly tap on the fan's surround to break ice free. It will quiet down. However, a quality appliance would not require this type of user intervention. If it makes you feel better, I built a new house with all new GE appliances ( because we liked the slate color) and every single one has issues and has been a profound disappointment. NEVER NEVER NEVER buy GE. We learned the hard way.
Answer: I sure would entertain joining such an endeavor! They deserve to get a kick in the ass if you ask me.
