The only thing good that can come out of gasbuddy is to close them do
Wn permanently. They have an app that had been broken for quite some time but they have not been ablecto fix it. I also notice from reading teviews that the gasbuddy card is a nightmare. I also notice from reading reviews that gasbufdy support is also nonextstent. And finally, after being on here posting for years, I can pick out a lot of the gssbuddy liars that post prices without even beimg anywhere near the station. My final thoughts are that you should avoid gasbuddy at all costs.

When I hit "find gas" it only provides you what is in your favorite, which I added years ago. You cannot add new stations. Of little use now-only takes up space on your phone. I will delete unless this is fixed in a few days.

They say you can redeem your rewards for gift cards, but make it impossible to "confirm" the order of the gift card. Apple should remove this fraudulently company from the App Store. They just want to sell your information and pretend they're saving you money. Worthless, piece of crap company.

As stated, Gas Buddy tried to withdraw funds right after my gasoline purchase. They then turned off the card & charged a late withdrawal fee due to bank insufficient funds. Charge cards are supposed to have a minimum Grace Period of 28 days...but not the gas buddy / thieves! I am writing this so readers might not get burned as i did. For me, i am removing this credit card account & leaving this review! Lastly, i felt like a fool when i cked account & only saw $8.00 in savings over the last year...especially after all the work done to make this card create savings. Good luck with Your savings...

I started using gas buddy. I'm supposedly saving a few pennies on each gas purchase. I usually pay a few pennies more at the pump with the idea that I'm getting increased savings from the cash back. I have accumulated over $250 in savings and attempt to redeem my savings. The only option I was given was to get a credit card from gas buddy to redeem gas only. I was never given a chance to get gift cards. I find out that is an option and I'm told that the system will not allow me to switch to gift card. That is bull$#*! form the top. So my only option is to redeem the savings for gas. I go to two different gas stations that supposedly give you savings in the future (while I usually pay a little more to get increased savings in the future) only to find out that they don't take the gas buddy credit card. If I can't redeem my savings for a real gift card and your credit card is not accepted anywhere, what is the purpose of your business? You get a kick back from the gas station when I purchase gas using gas buddy but I can't redeem my supposed savings at a gas station and you can't give me a gift card to a real store AND you can't change that because The ONLY option I was given was to redeem my savings for gas which again NO ONE accepts. Your company is bull$#*!. I've supposedly been saving pennies for a couple of years only to have nothing to show for it while you are making money on me. Don't waste your time doing free work for this company because you can't redeem and use your savings anywhere. I would give them a 0 rating if I could

For everyone on here complaining that the prices are always wrong are the problem. If the price is wrong you are supposed to report the correct price. Everyone is running to the cheap stations and getting gas without reporting the gas prices. They will always be wrong with no one reporting the current price or verifying that the price is correct. I always report or verify the prices of various stations near me. Gas Buddy started out with just average drivers reporting prices so everyone could see where the cheapest gas was. Now most gas buddy card users don't report prices they just go to the cheap station to get gas.

Check the app numerous times set at this gas station the price was $2.66 after activating the discount and putting my gas buddy card in it charged me $2.87 you cannot trust this app

Either it';s a total scam and the prices are always wrong and set by the gas stations themselves to get you there or it's useless at best.

What started out as a decent app geared to saving money at the pump appears to have become a "bait and switch" scam to get users to participate and purchase at a specific station under the guise of cheaper gas through discounting. Only problem I've noted is that the discounts rarely, if ever, materialize. Complaints filed with the company are initially ignored or stalled hoping you'll go away and if pressed, they then merely recite the rules for making the program work. Even if you follow the rules to the letter and everything appears to work as planned using their GasBuddy card, the discounts are not received.

Anyone else notice this? Anyone else know of any class action law suits contemplated or actually filed against them? I'd be interested in seeing one come down the pike.

I thought when I got the GasBuddy card, I was actually going to realize a significant savings. But I am only receiving MAYBE 1% of my total gas purchase. Today my charge was $49.55 and only saved 41 cents. To me, this is hardly a savings.

Paid my bill 20 days before due date 18 days later still had not received my check, so i paid the full balance with my debit card, then called my bank to stop payment on the check, now i had to pay my bank $35.00 to stop payment. Now i have a 0 balance, 7 weeks later i get an email i have a late payment from $#*! BUDDY Some $#*! did not process my check they received 10 days before it was due, so now some IDIOT is charging me $30.00 Stop payment, then $30.00 more late charge on a balance of 0, They are total $#*!s!

I went to four locations in South Orange County today /10/2/22) and Gas Buddy was off by a MINIMUM of a dollar a gallon at each location. Don't waste your time chasing rainbows with this site! ZERO STARS. Next time I will get pics. For example: Gas Buddy $5.29 gal 87oct. Reality: $6.79 gal 87 oct. Every location I went to was this far off.

Typical of some websites. They did an update to their site and it is now basically unusable. I travel frequently and they lost all my favorites. Way to go nerdy internet geeks!

Updates to the mobile app have consistently made it crash randomly and more often than ever. Several years ago they eliminated member messaging, which has lead to less accurate price posting, and at times, outright fraudulent posting. In the early days, fraudsters were called out by other users, and banned by moderators. The pay with GasBuddy feature is a joke- you can do better by using any credit card that gives cash back on purchases (ex.: Discover). I'm giving this one star not because I don't enjoy the benefits that I am receiving but when you have a question or a problem no one calls you back for the last 4 weeks I have left messages with no response back I even inbox them and got a response saying someone would get back to me soon 3 days now no response I hate to see if there was a real problem all as I'm trying to find out is about to referrals and to inform them they have a wrong gas station name but they don't seem to care and that's why the one star

Ever since I signed up with gasbuddy all of a sudden I have been getting $106 dollar charges to Xbox, I am 51 year old woman no kids or no time for video games on a Xbox. REALLY! Thank god I keep my card locked because two time they tried and gasbuddy is the only one I've used or signed up with that card hmmmmm real sus I live by myself I have no friends I only have clients that have no access to my personal belongings or my address. …. Everthing was fine before I gave that card number to gasbuddy and that makes me wonder how Secure their app or sight is? Real sus! Has anyone else had fraud random charges after signing up with gasbuddy?
