I purchased several products online from Garrett Wade. One week later I receive an email that my order had been changed and I was given a refund. When I checked to see why this occurred, I saw that several products were declared "out of stock". It took one week to determine their stock level which I find unusual. I wrote to them and they said it takes 24 hours to check stock inventory. So some where along the line my order was not taken seriously by this seller.
I wrote to them and they actually sent me a snarky reply basically saying too bad for me.
Needless to say this is not the type of company that I would ever do business with again.
Phone person was helpful and calm. Items arrived quickly I know from past experience that things are well made!

I purchased a weed puller from Garrett Wade and as usual, it was a flawless transaction. I got a great tool at an excellent value and it arrived ahead of schedule. I have never had any problem with GW... so I cannot share any first hand knowledge about their customer service dept. No doubt in my mind that they are excellent as well.

I've had 2 of these spades. The best spade for digging holes for smaller plants. Sharp cutting and easy to handle. You can jump on the handle if needed. Solid steel blade and handle.

This purchase from Garrett Wade was a hardback book on making and using wooden handplanes in the tradition of master woodworker/designer James Krenov. Consistent with my past experience ordering from GW, the book came well-packaged and in perfect condition. The book contains a wealth of information on designing, planning, building, and effectively using wooden planes. It is a rich source of inspiration and nicely complements the other woodworking tools and resources I have purchased from Garrett Wade.

Good experience, some of the items I purchase, I had to return because they didn't meet my expectations, and then I kept a couple of items, because of one that I like and another one that I'm trying to figure out how to return it.

However, the pricing is somewhat expensive / high.
