This order was a replacement for a 75' stainless steel hose which after two years of service became defective and started leaking in multiple locations. The hose is advertised as a hose that will last a lifetime, never crimp, never be punctured, etc. The ads do not say lifetime guarantee. Nevertheless, when I called Garrett Wade they elected to stand by their product. GW sent me a new hose in less than two weeks. I'm impressed with GW for honoring this commitment to customer service and product quality.

The pocket pruner I ordered to replace one I've used for years, but lost, was not cutting well. Don't know if it was dull or misaligned, but GW promptly sent me a replacement and it works fine like the original one.

GW offers our family a variety of tools and accessories beyond what is available at big box home improvement stores, or even specialty hobby or gardening outlets. Many of their available tools source from quality providers in the USA and worldwide, rather than being sourced from mass producers of lower quality and less innovative designs.
The online catalog is easy to access and survey what is available for a hobby, gardening or home project. And, orders are promptly properly packaged and shipped.
The invoicing process was straightforward and pricing or discounts properly applied. Customer service is responsive should any issues arise.

In November of 2021 I purchased a wood plane from this company. I did not like the quality of the tool and returned it for a refund. The company acknowledged receipt of the tool and promised a refund. Numerous calls resulted in polite people promising a refund any day. My bank got the same response and I never got a refund. I suggest avoiding this company. The tools are of poor quality and they do not act on refunds.

I placed an order over the phone. Never received confirmation of the order, and when I called a week later I was told there wasn't any order in the system.

Saw the Japanese hedge shears in a Garrett Wade catalog a few months agon and was disappointed that they were on backorder. I submitted a request to be notified when available. Ordered the shears when I received an e-mail and they promptly arrived. They work even better than the description in the catalog description. Very sharp and are very light. This tool is another fine product that I have ordered form Garrett Wade.
