This company shipped me the wrong item and took more than 10 days for them to respond to a request for a return label.

In the interim, I paid over $75 to return the WRONG item, which they are now stating is my responsibility. Will NEVER shop there again. BE WARNED.

I ordered three items. One is on back order, the other two arrived with defects. The wait for customer service is over an hour. I have had no reply to my emails. They have lost this customer. Pic below is just some of the rust on my rust less trellis!

I purchased a 4" cultivator hand tool and found it to be heavy and crudely made. When I asked to return it, they said no thanks just keep it. Now what do I do? Throw it in the trash? I doubt their composter would recycle it.

If I had known it would be like this I never would have ordered from Gardener's Supply. Every few days I try calling, but usually am on hold for almost an hour before I speak with somebody, and although the people are friendly on the phone, they seem helpless to resolve the matter or even to find out what is going on.

Highly disappointed.

We received two compost bins totaling $400.00. The description said they were insulated, study and had air vents. Not true... they are not insulated, have funky little plastic air openeings. The plastic bins are cheaply constructed, arrived with two broken pieces, snap together in a very unstable manner. I spent a day trying to get through to the company, on hold twice for 50 minutes each time. Come on Gardener Supply you can really do better than this.

Don't waste your time or money

I wish I saw reviews of this company before ordering. Awful customer service, don't waste your time ordering from this company. I never received my order nor any correspondence from them about it. After the expected delivery date, I emailed multiple times, never got a response. I called and was on hold for 35 mins then someone transferred me, I was on hold for another 20 mins, then was told that my order should be shipping and that I would get an email update within 24-48 hours. 5 days later, still nothing from them. I called again, was on hold for 25 mins, then got hung up on. I have received no email correspondence from them besides the initial order confirmation. This is not a proper way to run a business. I spent $190 with them to that I now need to get my order cancelled and refunded. I question if this is even a real business!

I ordered an LED light stand system back in January, it showed in stock and available at of order. After I didn't receive the order, I contacted their customer service number, waited at least an hour to reach someone, was informed that the the item was backordered and would be shipped at the end of April. That was obviously too late for spring planting so I ordered an "in stock" more expensive LED light stand, after 2 or 3 weeks, that had not arrived, sent an email, no response after several days so I called their customer service number, waited over an hour to speak with someone, they apologized, said emails is days behind and said it would be shipped soon. FINALLY received the system, directions were horrible, was missing several machine screws and two main side rails were defective, needed replacement. Contacted customer service, waited an hour to get through, they promised immediate shipment of the replacement parts, etc. That was two weeks ago. I'm planning to return the item once I get past planting season. Net-net, very hard company to do business with.

SCAM WEBSITE!

SCAM SCAM I ordered 3 plant stands with grow lights to begin my seedlings. I never received my order and no one answered my emails. We called the credit card company to inquire about who this payment went to and it went to an ENERGY COMPANY in CHINA! CHINA! We shut down our credit card for fraud to recover our money! DO NOT ORDER anything. The positive reviews are fake ones the company puts on here,

Told us that they will not charge us for a product never received and ordered a month ahead of time! Told that we didn't want it after all this time and yet charged us anyhow! FTC NOW!

My freeze-sensitive order was shipped without any notification or tracking number from Gardener's Supply. If I had received either, I would have watched for the delivery. Instead I discovered it on my front porch after a hard freeze overnight. The giant amaryllis bulb was ruined. There is no excuse for this sloppy shipping practice, especially from a company that has positioned itself as an elite gardening supplier.

Serious shipping g issues

Ordered planter list in stock, paid via PayPal. Weeks later, still not shipped. Contacted them and they claimed they couldn't process PayPal. Paid again with CC. Still not shipped a week later, contacted them and said they use a vendor that takes 10 days to ship and the clock started over once payment processes. Wth — multiple excuses on why they still have not shipped an in stock item. A gift ordered well in advance for Christmas will not be arriving on time. Thank for your poor service.

Ordered what was pictured as wood stand with bamboo trays
When I recived the package I opened to find I had paid a outrageous amount for two trays only!
This was suppose to be a beautiful gift and now I have bamboo kindling.
When I called customer service they stated they had to make it look nice for the website and would only be able to refund me after I paid a outrageous return shipping after already paying a large amount to have a unusable product shipped to me. I would never buy from this company again and would advise others to shop elsewhere

I have tried calling over 8 times with waits that exceeded 45 minutes and each ultimately disconnected. When I finally reached a representative they were not qualified to answer my questions advising me I needed to speak with a supervisor in which when I was transferred I was disconnected twice! When I called back for the 7th time they suggested that the supervisor call me instead which NEVER happened! This was all over a 'billing glitch" that was a mistake on their end NOT mine! I have been a loyal customer for over 15 years but they are definitely going downhill! DO NOT recommend especially if you ever need to contact their customer service!

I am very disappointed in your feather weight hoses. I have had 2 50 foot hoses and one 100 foot hose fail due to cracking of the outside of the hose. It does not do well in "weather". These hoses were costly in my opinion, but are cheaply made. I don't think I take a photo which would show the cracks

I thought this company was reputable so I didn't search current reviews. I wish I had as they have a lot of problems. I bought an item in June and then suddenly the same order showed up in my email in August. Next thing I know they have billed my credit card again. I called and told them I did not place that order. The customer representative argued with me and said "Yes you did." Only after I insisted I had not ordered this item twice (I wasn't impressed with it to begin with), he said he'd give me the money back but not the shipping which was about equal to the item. When I protested, he said he'd give it all back, gave me a confirmation number. But days later only half was returned. I emailed them but still haven't heard back. I called but the wait time was so long I hung up. Now I have to dispute this charge with my credit card company. My advice, don't do business with this company!

I ordered planters that were listed as in stock items. Website stated five day delivery. My credit card was charged. When items had not arrived a month later I tried to call, was not able to speak to anyone. I emailed 3 times and did not get a reply. Called again, Was put on hold for 45 minutes. Person that answered said my order would be shipped that week. Two weeks later I got an email saying that the items had shipped but with no tracking number. Items never arrived. I emailed twice more before I got a reply. The reply stated that the items were never shipped and had never been in stock, had to be custom ordered but they had never ordered them and now they were no longer available.
I just found the same planters on Targets website, they are not a special order, they are less expensive, no shipping fee, they have them in stock and will arrive in 2 days.
Gardeners supply made no attempt to rectify the situation or make up for stringing me along and miscommunicating multiple times for eight weeks.

Great Company!

Not sure why the low reviews. I've been a customer of Gardener's Supply Company for over 10 years and I think they're a fantastic company with unique items for one's garden/yard. I just got my Ina trellis and it's awesome. Beautifully crafted and looks amazing! I love all the plant/tomato supports as well. They are my preferred go to company for our penthouse garden-family and friends gifts for their yards as well. Thank you for offering unique products for the home!
