This company values security. Had conflicts with game support and these guys bailed me out restoring everything back to me. The only company out there that years down the road will still assist you and resolve your problems with your account. I am a customer for life.
The upside of using this website is that they are trustworthy, very secure, possibly the most secure of any site, and have exchange system to buy, sell, or trade accounts for over 100 games. The downside is that you may have to wait to get connected with an agent. They want you to pay a premium to upgrade their support which I don't agree with. When they finally do begin processing your submission, it's a breeze. I never bought from them but have referred others who said only good stories in that department.
Sold my account to this company. A bit slow but received my incoming wire deposit just before Christmas. Can't thank them enough!
Great platform for selling your account. They offer an instant quote and multiple payment options. I highly recommend them!
My first time dealing with Gametag and I'm a little apprehensive, it's been nearly a week and I haven't heard anything about my status. Will update when I get updated.
Received payment in less than 24 hours in 1 game and the other had some conflicts early on but all was resolved later on thanks to their vip support. The one recommendation I can give to this company is to breakdown when we'll receive payments for each game because you support so many or shutdown some of these other smaller games as I see a few of them are so small that I'm not sure why they even do business with those games.
Others with similar issues like mine should know that your payment could be delayed depending on the game. The one recommendation I can give to those is to contact their vip support for updates and you can also cancel anytime if they're taking too long. They are a trustworthy company but they should say which games are faster than the others.
Being that I recieived all payments I have no issues. It's difficult finding a buyer and I wish them the best of luck at actually finding one for my game.
@ gametag, nice auto response... you seem to respond the same message with every bad review on your website. Instead of helping and fixing the problem.
I don't see why so many reviewers of this website has a 5 star rating.
With just the one review of only this website...
24/7 online support? More like you get no support...
I tried to contact them, send emails, facebook and etc.
And all this after I gave them access to 4 of my accounts.
(you have to give them your email username and password registered on that game)
But still... I am waiting for that response (after several months).
Funny thing I noticed...
I am trying other venues to sell these accounts, with for example a mmo forum.
And on 2 occasions, a buyer responded in that forum.
Gametag suddenly tries to login into my email registered on those game accounts on the very same day!
As others have said, very trustworthy and reliable company. Had some conflicts with updating the email, had to send support a ticket but not going to blame them for someone elses system not working. I would recommend this company.
Test
Back in 2009/2010, there was a website called e-crystalgaming.com where I sold to these gals/guys who were registered with this website over a couple dozen times. They had some 100+ all positive feedback if I remember right. The ecg website stopped being moderated and spam took over eventually the site just went offline for good. Made some money during peak times which you can't make anymore but the money made then helped me get by in college. They were reliable, trustworthy and I want to thank them for helping me out.
Lineage II is definitely one of the games they do a fantastic job in. They provide you everything from the CD Keys, Password Hints, Name, Display Name and everything you need to take full control over the account. On top of that, they provide a full detailed guide prior to delivery breaking down the do's and don't. Only did business with them in L2 so can't comment on the other games.
Well I went with these guys back in Late 2010/Early 2011 if I remember right and purchased a City of Heroes account. They had issues with it and I ended up just getting a refund. I purchased from them again in Star Wars the Old Republic and they provided everything you needed without having to go back to them for more information to get access to the game. I wasn't very happy about the first order but the game ended up getting shut down anyway later so I guess they saved me from making a wasted purchase.
Be very carefull when ordering on this site.
I placed one order here, they weren't able to full fill it for some reason.
They offered a gift certificate and asked me to pick a new character.
Hesitante, i did this and picked a new char. How ever this char was also not available after i ordered it. Again a new gift certificate and again 'please pick another character'
I hoped 3rd time is a charm, so i proceeded and got another character. Again some time passed. And i got fed up and posted here to advise that ppl should stay clear from this site. After i posted I immediatly got a reply from their 'legal deparment' that the transfer of the new character was put on hold due to a breach in the EULA and refered to the article on this site. They demand my account information for this site, and only then they would proceed with the character transfer. Not wanting to lose money, i did what was asked. Finaly then i got the character. How ever the threat did leave some nasty feeling. So my advise: stay away!
Oh and the 'live' chat never works...
And the positive feedbacks here.? Most likely it is the person(s) behind the site.

Avoid - appears to be a scam.
About 4 weeks ago I purchased a SWTOR account. I chased a couple of times only to be finally told that the account was unavailable as they had been unable to contact the account owner. I was invited at that point to purchase some insurance to protect me against any issues that might arrise - this set of alarm bells as A) they were asking me to spend more money in response to my initial concerns and B) I had already purchased their 60 day insurance policy as a safeguard but they seemed unaware of this fact.
They then offered me a voucher to spend on another account but there were no other accounts which offered the class and level that I had bought around that price range. I would have had to spend more money again and given my initial experience this is not something I was willing to do.
I asked for a full refund instead and was met with silence. I have followed up this request twice and still no response. I can only assume at this point that this site is a scam and that they do not have any games accounts to sell.
I will be calling the police and my bank tonight to report a fraudulent transaction on my account and have already had to cancel my card.
Avoid at all costs. Also if suddenly there is a copy and paste response or follow up of "Ignore issues have been resolved" (or something to that effect) then perhaps you should look through the comments in every other review below. Suspicious don't you think?

I purchased an account from the tag team. No complaints up to today. They give you everything you need to take control of your account. Never sold or traded to them though but good for buyers.
I tried to buy a couple accounts, the first one went through ok but is taking forever to actually process. The second I tried to buy for a friend of mine as a surprise ended showing an error on the next page. I thought this odd and tried it again. I looked on my gmail for a conformation... nothing. I looked on my bank account, of course there were two charges for an account that i'm not going to receive. They still haven't gotten back to me after a couple days. The only email I got was them not answering my question about getting my money back and telling me I should get the VIP package for 100 dollars if I wanted to talk to somebody. These guys are true blue scam artists. Don't be fooled.

Signed up to sell my account to them, they never got back to me and stripped all my characters of gear/items/gold.
Scam artists, stay clear.
David,
You never submitted to us, you aren't a seller. This is the second time you posted complaints in the past 5 weeks yet provide no proof you are a seller. You claim we didn't get back with you so here is your chance to prove to everyone you're a real seller and provide you information so we can get back with you.
Your claim doesn't add up and you provided no information verifying that you are an actual vendor with our company.
1). We issue payments BEFORE you send us your World of Warcraft US Account Information. Anyone who submits an account to our website can clearly see this. So how could we login to your account and steal your gold/items without your account information?
2). There are no records of any "David R" ever submitting a World of Warcraft Account to our website in the last 60 days.
3). We sent you a few private messages through sitejabber yet you don't reply to us.
4). We don't sell gold and items. We don't "strip" accounts. Doing this causes increased exposure to the account.
5). If items are ever "removed" from your account involuntarily, you can submit an automated Account Recovery through the battle.net website and have all your items restored within 24 hours.
6). It's impossible to change the name on a World of Warcraft Account yet you claim we did.
7). If you are a real customer, then kindly send us your Account Submission Order Number. Without this information, we cannot assist you nor is your claim valid if you can't verify that you actually submitted an account to our website.
We would be more than willing to compensate if in event there are issues that happened to your submission, but everything you have said in your claim doesn't seem like you're an actual seller. Providing us an account submission order number though would verify this, allow us to help you, and actually make your claim valid.
Until then, we don't believe you're an actual vendor with our company as nothing you said makes any sense.
The site proved overall to be a scam. I provided the information requested regarding a World of Warcraft account only to find that they had changed the password, attempting to steal my account. Upon recovering the account and changing my personal information I found all of the gold and items had been cleared from every high level character on the account (dumb scammers didn't check my bank character holding a lot of gold). They have also failed to respond to several emails I have sent them over the past few weeks. My advice: stay right away from gametag.com

The worst business experience I can recall.
I submitted my basic game account info, and was given a quote. I decided to go with the quote listed, so I completed the process of sending my account information. As I recall, the page mentioned that I could wait up to 96 hours for verification, etc.
After this time window came and went, I sent a message to customer support asking for some kind of an update to the process. (By the way, the Live Chat feature on the site never once worked for me, and their claim of 24/7 support is a sick joke.) 9 days after my account submission, I got some canned response stating that my submission had moved to "Pending" status. Yet when I used their order tracker feature on their site, it never budged from "Processing."
2 and a half weeks into the process, I actually left them a message on their Facebook page using my own personal account, which I was uncomfortable with. I did not get a single response until 3 weeks after my initial submission, when I chose to review their site here. Almost immediately, I got emails asking for my contact and payment info. I also received an email from their "legal" department asking for my login info to this site. Apparently I was in violation of some hidden clause that forbids the sharing of info. But apparently if I gave them the info, they would expedite the submission process. I reluctantly handed over my login and password to this site, and they IMMEDIATELY removed my review.
I had to knock down walls with a wrecking ball to get a response from these people. So then, early this morning I got an email explaining that their system originally experienced an error with the pricing. By over 250%. No joke. They gave me the new, much lower quote, and said it was non-negotiable. 23 days later. After I had paid for a new month's subscription to this game account.
I immediately cancelled my submission and demanded my account info be returned. Surprisingly, the account info was returned THE SAME DAY. I do not recommend this site on any level. Technically, they seem legit, if you're willing to suffer. Never before have I encountered this level of poor customer service.
Edit: New update! These people are absolute scum. I recently discovered a libelous posting about myself on complaintsboard.com. Gametag.com included a huge amount of personal information, including my email address, home address, past schooling, and even a photo of myself. I gave an extremely detailed review of my poor customer service experience with gametag.com, and now they've taken it upon themselves to slander me. In their final words on complaintsboard.com, they are trying to extort the removal of my review from sitejabber by stating that they will remove their lies from complaintsboard.com if I comply. I even included the picture of the extortion attempt.
John C,
This issue has already been resolved and you pointed out all the negative things missing key points of what really happened.
1). The reason your submission was delayed as stated numerous times in e-mails to you is the information you provided was invalid multiple times.
2). The reason your quote was reduced was due to that you misprofiled the entire character information which this information was provided to you.
3). You came to us wanting to get paid and wanting us as your customer. We offered a price, couldn't come to terms after you misprofiled the character, you opted to cancel and we went different directions.
We tried to work with you, even offered to pay you the agreed upon price, but you stopped communicated.
I have sold acciunt to them. Also in progress of waiting on a new acciunt. Been 4 days ni account info.
This company had offered to buy my account, after they of course had all the information for my account all my account information had been changed, and after 10+ emails I have received 0 replies. Except 2 generated ones saying the transaction would be complete in roughly 30 hours that was over 2 weeks ago. I was stupid enough to trust a company with my information for a game I played for 8+ years and had thousands invested into... Do not make my mistake

Buy, sell and trade MMORPG accounts for World of Warcraft and dozens of other popular games.

Emiel,
I'm not sure you have the correct company here.
1). If you have an urgent matter, our [email protected] e-mail is setup for expedited requests, but it appears you didn't ever send an e-mail to this e-mail.
2). I have sent you a PM but you never replied.
3). We have no history of an "Emiel" ever attempting to do business with our company. You didn't provide any order information.
At this time, your claim cannot be validated and we have no proof you ever did business with our company.
